Stardancing [Closed] - Nebbs - 02-09-2015

Again and again she watched as her children, not yet a year from her womb, grew pale and perished before her. Since that day it was all that she could see, as she was held, unable to save them from that evil witch.

The hands on her shoulders pulled at her, one firm and strong with the grip of a warrior who spoke with assertive calm, "Turn away daughter, we are three and one now." Nebula reached for the hand with a smile, "Yes Mother".

The other hand was more nimble and soft, and she spoke with a charming lilt that promised delights and wonder, "Aye lass, there be new horizons for us, we are three and one now.. maybe some fun and adventure too?". Nebula could not  resist a half smile, "Grandmother I sense it will not be boring."

Nebula stood alone, there were no others beside her. She turned from the stone of Nymeia, the Spinner of fates, the mark of the weaving of three that are one, plain upon her forehead. The presence of her Mother and Grandmother within her was strange and yet comforting, over time she would get used to this, but for now she accepted the comfort and walked on.

The old Nebula had passed on that day she threw herself from the cliff in grief, and it had been Nymeia who claimed her. Though her children could not be returned her ancestry was strong and so as befits such things the circle of three was closed and what had been foretold came to pass. The three Stardancers were now one.

Now it was Nebula Stardancer, servant of Nymeia who walked towards her fate and the fate of others.

((Just a little piece for continuity and I may add more of how this goes as the RP's flesh her out.))

"Nebula watched the door close, leaving her alone in the small room under the stairs she had moved into. Her hand brushed away the wetness of the lalafell's kiss from her cheek, and she spared a thought, "that  one would be trouble".

As she looked at the door, her fingers idly traced the empty space where her wedding band had been and she shook her head, "I did warn her that ring is paired to another, I do hope she takes care with it."

She then looked around the small room, where the few belongings she had managed to fill it, and a few it was indeed. "Well there is nothing here to distract me." With a sigh, Nebula got up and stripped off her clothing to something suited to a workout, then taking her sword she left the room to go find something to hit.

It was good to hit something, she let her Mother's warrior spirit take over, though it used muscles that complained about the activity. While she trained her mind wandered back to a time she had spent sparing with Ilwe, and how he had tried to explain the styles to her. Somewhere along the line here tears mixed with her sweat and she eventually had to stop from exhaustion.

It was a tired and exhausted Nebula who crawled on to her cot, the space on her finger reminding her that this was a different life, and so she waited for the dreams to come.

Time, it was time, whatever that meant, just that it was.
The soft warm floaty feeling was going, rushing away,  and the edges of the world were pressing up against her.
No, she was pressing against them, and falling.. that's what it was she was falling!
And that below her, there, that was ground... she remembered ground.

The pod split open spilling its fluids closely followed by a slight Miqo'te female, naked as she was born. And as births were concerned this was her second, of a sort, so it was appropriate.

She met her old friend the ground with a thud, all arms, legs and a mass of pale blue hair. She discovered choking, then coughing, then breathing again as she lay there while cabbages danced around her singing some strange song.

♪ Ring around and up and down back and forth the river flows ♪
♪ Ring around your body past and memories forgot ♪
♪ Ring around the old one gone, and reborn three as one ♪
♪ Ring around and welcome her, our new daughter Nebula ♪

She managed to look up and the circling cabbages, they were Sylphs she remembered that and that name Nebula.. that was her. She was Nebula, she remembered going to join the Archers Guild and after that she had no idea what was going on.

RE: Stardancing [Closed] - Nebbs - 03-20-2015

Her Guardian, the Witch Kraggy Nel along with her Sylph friends had bid her a fond farewell, and Nebula smiled and looked around with joy. She had picked up some things from Nel and the Sylphs, who had insisted she take formal training from the Conjurer's. But now they had sent her off into the world to discover more of Magics, to places like Limsa and Ul'dah.

With Mr Lugg, her goblin friend and helper she had the whole world before her. She knew that she had past lives and could hear the songs of those if she listened, sometimes a face or a thing would trigger those songs and she would remember, but for the most part she shut those off.

She was a young Witch and the wonder of the world and discovery.. and people, were her's to discover.

The past is dead and burried
The old Seeker places the flowers on the unmarked graves atop the cliff. There are  many children he has sired, and even his children have many children. Yet these were those from the woman who now stands with him. Though she is cold and unmoving, as much the armour as she is the parts of the person that remains. His voice is soft yet aged, "She must never know"

His partners only comment, was the scanning from the red light of her eye, and the other shed two tears, one for each of her grandchildren that lay in the ground.
