Mmhmm, we're back again folks!  And this time (once more), the entertainment falls squarely 'pon the shoulders of our budding, adventurous guests for the eve.

(That's you.  All of you.  You're our guests.)

The shelves are stocked, the glasses are gleaming, and the stools are sturdy.  All is in place.  For what, I imagine hearing you ask?  For your ideas, that's what (Twelve have mercy on us).  For this week, for the entertainment of folks on both sides of the bar, we'll be giving you the chance to go nuts, let that imagination go wild, and create your very own drink for the brave souls and stomachs that want to be the judges.

As ever, our 'doors' open at the nineteenth bell, and we'll give you alcoholics an entire bell (Or so) to come up with imaginative, creative names and mixing ideas.  Then?  Then, at the twentieth bell we'll be clearing out from behind the bar, and handing it over to our flock of fledgling mixologists to create their compelling concoctions to the delight of all, and to the intoxication of the chosen few.

Judges will be picked on a first-come, first-served basis, and better have stomachs of steel at the very minimum, 'cause we'll not be providing buckets beyond those the entrants choose to serve their drinks in.

Winning entry gets a special place in our hearts, and more importantly, a place on our menu*.

Beyond that?  It'll be another night of sun-kissed (Rain-drenched) relaxation.

And we rather hope to see you all there!

The 17th Sunny Seaside Bar


Oh aye folks, ain't no rest for the wicked, and guess what?  The wicked is what we'll be celebrating this coming bar!  In honour of everyone's most feared favourite night, we'll be bringing the fright with our own special take on All Saint's Wake...

ALL SPIRITS WAKE

All night long, all spirits* will be half price.  You read that right, half price!  We've no idea what... eheh, 'possessed' us [sub](Spirits, clearly!)[/sub] when we came up with something so clearly insane, but might just be crazy enough to wake the dead!  The aftermath will be grisly.  The aftermath be gory.  The aftermath will... probably be splattered all over your floor.  How ghastly.**

But surely that can't be the only big thing for such an auspiritscious night?  There must be more in sight?  Such a wasted opportunity, we hear you cry in fright!  And it turns out you'd be right; the events for the night are two-fold:

Firstly, we found the trick to a good All Saints' Wake night is to have a good old-fashioned costume contest, with the winner being decided by, Twelve help us, public vote.  Dress to kill, folks!***

Secondly, and this is the real treat of the evening... a spooky story-off!  Bring your most haunting tales and chilling fables, folks!  Fact or fiction, myth or legend, if it deprives the audience of sleep that night, it belongs.

(We don't expect the costume contest to take all that long, and so we'll be kicking that off at the twentieth bell (20:00) with the aim to get to the tale-telling by the twenty-first (21:00))

Hope to see some new fa-... actually, no, we don't.  We hope to see lots of masks and costumes that night, folks!
