[Interest check] Growing peril in the Shroud - SargentToughie - 04-06-2015

Hello everybody!

Since I'm going to be starting a new plot thread for my character that involves a bit of peril for the shroud, and co-operation with the Adders, I figured this was about as prime an opportunity as one could ask for to try and network out to any other in-character Adder members... Or just any Lancer/Archer/Conjurer/Adventurer that works around the shroud area, for that matter.

At this point the story isn't just going to be a one and done matter, but I hesitate to set up regular, dedicated times that I'd progress with it either. I guess it would just be the sort of thing that you can just kind of take and run with on your own, contributing whenever you are able to, or feel like it. ^^

If anybody wants in, feel free to either send me a PM on this website, or try to catch me while I'm online. Character's name is C'lantaa Shenn

Below is something of a preview, or tone setter, for the story arc.

Beasts in the outer reaches of the shroud have been getting more aggressive as of late. Boars, Anoles, and Crocs have all become far more fiercely territorial and have come ever close to civilization, all the while fighting with greater ferocity than was normal for them in the past. They press on beyond seemingly lethal wounds, with a look in their eye of pure, blind fury that has made many of the repelling wailers claim they were more akin to voidsent than living creature.

The outbreaks at this point have been few and comfortably far between, but it's still enough cause for worry that the Order of the Twin Adder has begun investigating the cause, so far no information has been disclosed to the general public.

Sounds like a perfect thing for a hunter. My character's a lancer with strong ties to Gridania, so I'd be happy to participate if you needed bodies.

I would be interested in taking part as well!

Excellent!

I'm online right now if both of you would like to add me, and I'll be making a linkpearl for the arc some time tonight.

I could throw Nah at this. Her family runs some small odds and ends shop in Gridania, her dad keeps his ears to the ground, so he's likely to hear of this and recommend Nah go check it out or something. If you'll have me that is. Plus this'd be good sword and board training for her too.

Ooh, sounds interesting. Eleni is an adventurer and the Shroud is her home, and I'm pretty sure she'll also notice this, and be concerned.

Count me in! Smile
