Public classes event check - FloriaRaine - 05-18-2015

So in a couple of weeks, i'll be hosting a public lessons event for my fc Everen Academy and Trade. It'll be centered around one of the courses my character, Floria, teaches at the academy. but i likely only will have time to host one of these classes. So which would people more interested in?

Conjury or Culinary?

I would say Culinary as it can appeal to a wider audience. Only a certain characters will have the aptitude and desire to learn conjury. However almost everyone could benefit from learning how to cook. Even a good cook could come to pick up new recipes.

I suppose culinary since yeah it'll have a wider interest range.

I do have a couple characters that would be interested in the Conjury though. One because she is a conjurer and would want to see what else she could learn, and another who isn't a conjurer, but would go see about learning something about it without harassing anyone in Gridania.
Mostly it would depend on in if the Conjury lesson is more like a hands on thing that will likely apply more to people who actually do conjury, or if it's a general ed thing that anyone could come in and learn about things, whether they can do conjury or not.

I'm kind of agreeing that a coking class would draw a more substantial crowd. There are going to be characters who are mistrustful or bad at magic, but I'll be damned if I've ever met a good person who doesn't like pancakes.

Culinary would in my mind be a better idea as it is far simpler to "show" then magic would be. Also it would make the event a thing players with magic-less characters the chance to show up... and watching Asmodean burn anything he tired to cook would be  good laugh for all.

Thank you for everyone's input so far. Other places i asked seem to be most interested in culinary as well. I'm happy to see people taking an interest in this event and hope to meet the expectations of everyone who shows up. The event will be decided on sunday and the schedule will be made for it then once my know my schedule for next week.
