We had a great night last night. At least 17 match ups with several challenges as well. 

Nef got to knock Zarconen around before losing her other two fights.

SPECIAL EDITION FIGHT CLUB!

  • Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks (x9,y15)
Since the patch is on monday there is no Fight Club at the regular time. A PERFECT time to shift things around and hold it at a time where the EU folks might be able to come and play!

So everyone come on out this Saturday and enjoy throwing punches or just watching the fighting.

Rules are simple: No MAGIC! No Killing! Try not to maim, though thanks to Krick, Josachi, and Gracie we’ve had healers attending pretty regularly.

New rule (thanks to Marl): If you are seriously injured and refuse healing/treatment then we reserve the right to stop you from fighting for the rest of the event. This is because we’re all having fun and it’s not fun watching someone try and permanently cripple themselves.

I was not able to attend the entire event due to timezone and exhaustion stopping me, but it was fun and interesting for the duration I was there.

Usually until about 11 or 12PM EST so 8-10PM PST?

Also, OOCLY... word on the street is that there might be something going down after the event is officially over that folks might want to plan on sticking around for... especially curious detective types. Not saying anything else cause I don't want to spoil the fun!

Though word of warning: maintenance is tomorrow night so things will be shorter than expected.

Definitely need to make an effort to show up this week, then. My character has spectated a few times, because it's right across the docks from his work... what? The Fishermen's Guild, obviously(!)

Thank you to everyone who came out last night! The Maelstrom Command bit after Fight Club went amazing.

And I have a post with recap about what happened. 

Short version is that Fight Club was amazing with at least 26 pairings. Afterwards bombs went off in time with the fireworks making everyone flee from the courtyard and head over the north bridge.
