Who We Are
-
We're a varied group of adventurers from all walks of life, from minor Ishgardian nobility to Ala Mhigan refugees, Lalafell to Roegadyn, craftsmen and warriors alike. The first thing that binds us is the need for honest work and steady pay, but it's followed closely by a desire to use what skills we have for good, to improve the lives of fellow Eorzeans and stave off despair wherever and whenever we can. We're no Warriors of Light, no great heroes, but we're here and we're stubborn and we'll be damned if we don't at least try to make a difference.

Why Chimeras?
-
We took on the Chimera name in honor of a friend's old company - our way of honoring the dead and helping them get their good name back after a former member dragged it through the mud. We were the Golden Swarm before, but we're none of us too shiny (except for G'latta) and nobody's really that much into bees. Besides, chimeras are much more intimidating.

What We Do
-
We'll take most jobs that come our way, though some members may be less choosy than others when it comes to what is and isn't legal. The company as a whole only takes legit work. Company coffers get a ten percent cut of what we make, and there's food, drink, and a safe place to rest up and recuperate in exchange. We've got an airship, so that saves on travel costs too.

A couple of us have a real knack for finding musty old treasure maps, and some of us have got damned good at reading them. We'll take a group out every fortnight or so to do some digging, and most times come back with a tidy sum.
