Unless I'm mistaken (going off the top of my head), as far as a Realm Reborn is concerned the year is 1577, as the Seventh Umbral Era took place in the year 1572.
We don't know much about Miqo'te culture outside of the naming conventions of both tribes and everything that ties into that. Birthdays (Or namesdays as they're called in XIV) are most likely celebrated in some way, shape, or form. How exactly that might be handled is unknown to us at this point in time. There are also certain things under NDA that I can't discuss here.
It can be assumed that there are various instruments in Eorzea. We know harps exist for certain. Other stringed instruments exist, I'm sure. Again, I would elaborate further but NDA prevents discussion on this as well right now.
We do not know which server will be designated the official RP server by SE. As it stands, Balmung is the current unofficial server.
And as far as the server people are on for beta? Well, I can't really say that here, either.
