I am new to Final Fantasy XIV but not RP. Did forum RPs for several years (including a few stories than went on over a few years). I played D&D for the first time at seven and nearly two decades later I'm DMing my own campaign of a year. Clearly, I love RP! So I'd love to see what the RP community is like on this game. I know Balmung is the haven of RP but those gates are clearly locked. My main is on Coeurl but I do have a secondary on hand on Mateus in case Coeurl RP doesn't work out. If anyone has any info for me, let me know!

I can't speak fully on the matter as I'm not on Coeurl, but there is an occasional Roleplayer who shows up from your server. Even more-so since Balmung closed it's borders.

I have no idea how it is on Coeurl. I would surprise me if there was any. I'd suggest seeking out contact with people over at Mateus! Roleplay seems to be flourishing there as well these days.
I'd be afraid if you do not, you might end up being severely disappointed by the non-existent roleplay community on your server, and perhaps in the roleplay community on FFXIV as a whole due to it.

Hey there and welcome aboard to the RPC!Â
I can attest to the fact I've seen players here at the welcome desk who were on Coeurl. Now, that being said, if you're chasing after RP your best bet would have been Balmung, but being as how that's locked down, Mateus is the next best choice. If you're looking to try and get deep into RP, you'll probably want to consider the move. Regardless though, best of luck on the hunt!

Hello from Coeurl as well! I will admit, there's only a smattering of us here and there on the server, myself being fairly new to there [I took the free transfer incentive without doing any research beforehand] however I do hope to try and help create a larger presence here on the server for giant whisker-cats.
Would be more than willing to talk to ya and see what it is you're after, and what knowledge I DO have in regards to the server at large!
