Guess it depends if "VIII" is a codename, if he's an agent, or a commander of things
If all three apply...I like "Codename VIII", if I had to choose one.

Yeah, I have in mind something like a "self given" name (don't know the word in english, it's not my first language) to hide his identity. Maybe I'll shorten it to Code Vllll or something. He's going to be some kind of tactical genious, similar to SCH in FFXI, but giving him a military rank doesn't sound right. Better if I can develop a story and reach that point afterwards.
