Feel free to move my inquiry if this is the wrong thread. I haven't bought ARR yet, but I'm considering it. It seems like a pretty decent MMO, good mechanics, IGN gave it an 8.6 (though it's hard to trust IGN, to be honest). Right now I play WoW, and I have for several years. I'm a member of a prominent RP guild on Earthen Ring, and am still enjoying end game content and the new patch raids, for the most part.Â
Basically my question is, how full and robust would people say is the RP right now on either (unofficial, it seems) RP server in ARR. The games seem evenly matched in other areas (ARR squeaks out a slight victory for seniority [long-time Final Fantasy player] and because I like the graphics more on ARR) so really, the availability and quality of the RP is what would make or break a sale for me. So feel free to give me your honest opinions! I welcome them all

I am surprised no one posted on here yet. I am very new to the game still and haven't had any RP time yet. So far as gameplay is concerned I find it a very thrilling experience. It's very smooth, but not unlike WoW or other MMORPGs.

The RP seems very robust to me on Balmung but I'm also in a linkshell which we use as a LFRP channel. It's a rare night indeed when there isn't some RP going on, and even if there isn't, I find random RP scattered about the world as well.
