RPC on Facebook - Kylin - 09-08-2010
I figure this deserves its own topic. We originally had a Facebook page for the RPC but Renaise was forced to take it down due to complaints issued to Facebook. This was possibly due to the NDA. Regardless, our main site has had a Facebook button on it for a long time now that leads to nowhere.
Personally, I don't use Facebook at all in any form. But I realize some people prefer to use that to keep up on things such as announcements and whatnot. So my question is, is anyone willing to setup another RPC Facebook page?
You are asked to help keep it updated though and not abandon it mysteriously. It would be best to assign 2-3 page managers for it just in case 1 disappears or starts neglecting it.
Things that should be posted on it are the basic necessities (Besaid = RP server, link to site, etc) as well as future announcements. Announcements include major RPC updates, new Tonberry's Lantern issues, major events (Epic, etc), and so on.

I believe I might be able to handle such a responsibility. It would definitely be nice to have 1 or 2 other ppl to help maintain it if possible. I've never set up something like that on Facebook before (although I do frequent FB often), but I do stay up to date on announcements here, so it'd be easy for me to keep posts updated on the wall.

I think I'd be able to help Brin with this venture. Post events, character photos, as well as shots from events as well.

I would love to help, unfortunately FB is blocked at work and there's no way I could reliably keep it up to date.
I have to constantly check social site updates on my phone.Out of curiosity, does the RPC use twitter?

Facebook is a great way to keep people in the loop. Before we even had a FFXIV forum and were on Aion we had a facebook page for our eventual FFXIV transfer. I approve
