I'm working on a character, who is of noble blood, but his mother died when on the run with him by his crazed father who went insane. His mother died carrying him through coerthas and was found by the knights of as Ishardian Family and taken, despite being a hyur (he was 2 years old at this time). Would it at all be possible, and would some Ishgardians want an adopted hyur brother? They dont have to like him. he would be about 16-17 years of age. my server is Balmung

The Ishgardian presences at Whitebrim and Camp Dragonhead do indeed have a few Midlander Hyur among their number. One of the previous Azure Dragoons (Ser Ywain) is also a Hyur. Your backstory is quite plausible, rest assured!

Considering the lore around the Starlight event, I find your plot solid and believable, no worries.
To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect.
"What makes a strong character is how they deal with their flaws, their fears, their turmoils, their troubles that get in the way. That's what makes them relatable." -- N.C. |

I don't think it's a bad idea, WB. My character simply wouldn't fit in with this at all and my alts do little more than gather dust. I pretty much devote myself to a single character and have others just to say they're there.
