Jet'a uses the BLM artifact (well, myth actually) most of the time.. I've never really made a big deal out of it or talked about it IC nor giving it particular reasons to wear it... He is nocturnal and dislikes leaving his skin exposed to both light and touch, and well.. I OOCly liked the Auron-look the high collar gave him.
As for relic weapons, I have none yet but I never really paid any mind to what others used. Weapons in Eorzea have all so many flashy and weird design, I feel my character at this point would take exotic-looking weapons as granted and not care about them. There's far far too many strange weapons vs the "common" weapons for them to look any special or call any attention at this point.

To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect.
"What makes a strong character is how they deal with their flaws, their fears, their turmoils, their troubles that get in the way. That's what makes them relatable." -- N.C.
