"I'm clearly how you're going to end up back up eventually." The younger girl says to Shas as she looks over to the pregnant woman and smirks. The pregnant woman just rolls her eyes and starts shaking her head slowly. The younger girl chuckles a bit and motions her head towards the pregnant woman.
"See, she doesn't like it when I say that. Let me ask you something, both of you actually. Which one of us survived the fall, hmmm? Who was it that survived an assassination attempt at nine years old and made an example of the would be assailant? Which one of us survived Cartenau, or that bloody mess up in Coerthas last year? Mmhmm, yeah...that's what I thought. It sure as hells wasn't a naive pregnant woman, or some high and mighty Paladin pretending to be someone and something they're not. It was me...it's always been me, it always will be...."
Shas then looks to the younger girl taking a moment to break out of her silence and shakes her head. She took a moment to look over the girl and young woman before her and starts laughing softly as she began to pour herself a refill of her drink.
"Ya know...I cannae say tha' yer wrong. Yer absolutely right. But, let me ask ye this. How long would tha' girl 'ave survived livin' in th' refugee camps th' way she was? How long would she have livin' in this place at all? I tell ye wha'.....I'm more than satisfied with th' way things turned. I'm more than happy bein' right where I am right now, right where I need tae be."
The young girl frowns and slinks down into her own seat seat pouting, while the pregnant woman leans back into hers with a smile forming across her face as she looks at the younger girl.
"Hmmm, that's what I thought. You see...it's not always about you....."
