Asmodean Gaidin  looked about at those whom have already gathered before looking back to the tiny unicolt. "Don't worry little one, you are not the only one feeling out of place." He then scratched it behind the ear.
Asmodean Gaidin looks at the canvas before looking back down at the now sleeping unicolt in his arm. " I'll have to wait for you wake.... or find someone to hold you it seems." He said quietly before looking about.
Asmodean Gaidin watches as other stepped up to leave their marks. He kept his distance, waiting for the area to become less crowded so he might as well.
Asmodean Gaidin shifted about before looking down and scratching the head of the sleeping unicolt in his arms. " Seeing all these people must have tired you out."
Asmodean Gaidin walks closer to the stone before dropping to knee to place the tiny colt on the ground. He then removed a glove and dipped a finger tip into the black paint before slowly drawing out a heron. HE looks at it for a while before nodding, thinking it was a fair match to the symbol he was thinking of.
Asmodean Gaidin turns to pick up the colt once more before stepping side to give space to others.
Gareth Evershield picks his way down the rock, stepping before Asmodean. "Sir Gaidin." He holds out his hand. "How fairs your travels through Ishgard?" He tilts his head. "Assuming that's where you've been, correct?"
Asmodean Gaidin: "Aye... aside from babysitting a few youngling nobles, things have been well. How have your  travels been?"
Gareth Evershield nods his head. "Nothing to be hailed as legends, but I've seen more of Ishgard's territory then I believed I would have, already." He tilts his head. "No grand dragon slaying for yourself, then?" He grins.
Asmodean Gaidin: "Not alone at the very least. Giving aid as needed for the most part. But mostly I have help keep watch of the western highlands. It is good to see you well."
Gareth Evershield claps the man's shoulder. "You as well, my friend. Should the Red Wings mobilize into Ishgard for any reasons, I will keep an eye out for you, should you be babysitting." He winks at the man, before nodding once more. "Until then, stay safe."
Asmodean Gaidin nods back before answering. "Too you as well." He then looking  down once more to the unicolt before shaking his head. ".... a bleeding dad..." he said under his breath.
Asmodean Gaidin simply listen as other spoke, his own focus on animal currently resting in his arms. He scratched it's head a bit, his own eyes starting to sag a bit.
Asmodean Gaidin head hung look, his chest rising and lowing slowly making it clear he had fallen a sleep . The unicolt still in his arms now awake and looking about at those about the area.
Gareth Evershield chuckles, shaking his head as he looks down at Asmodean's form. "Uhh... I think's he's asleep?"
Jancis Milburga: "You are right. I was trying to be humorous, but he has dozed off."
Asmodean Gaidin head still hung low. The unicolt look at the woman titling it's head before looking up to lick his face. It quickly cause him to wake. "What...? "The hyur looked about, a bit shocked at how few wore about. "Great... what a fool I make myself out to be."
Asmodean Gaidin slowly takes his time getting back up to his feet. He looked at the colt before shaking his head. "For once you don't bite me... What's the matter not hungry?"
Jancis Milburga: "Ah. He is awake. Sir Gaidin."
Asmodean Gaidin: Sorry about that. This one keep me up most night now.... But I thought I could handle myself."
Asmodean Gaidin pushes his arms up a bit showing the unicolt.
Jancis Milburga looks down off the rock, "You have a little one. Nophica's Grace. Is little wonder now why you were sitting on your own. Forgive me"
Asmodean Gaidin: "No do not worry about it. She slept most of the gathering so it was more me just giving others space. Wouldn't want to drop her due to someone knocking in to me by mistake."
Jancis Milburga: "Knocking into you.. oh. Would you like to paint on the mural Sir Gaidin? I would hold her for you."
Asmodean Gaidin waves a hand. "I already have. "The black heron mark near the bottom left."
Jancis Milburga looks embarrassed, turning back to look at the canvas at the spot he spoke of. Smiling once again, she turns back. "A very sweet sentiment, if I can be so bold to say. Looks like you are applying it right now." She focuses on the colt.
Asmodean Gaidin shook his head laughing at himself. "Yes the wandering warrior.... now a dad." He sighed before looking at the colt.
Jancis Milburga: "Where did you find such a little one, Sir Gaidin?"
Asmodean Gaidin: "The western Highlands. Blind luck or the will of the twelve. Either way, if not for me she may have no long be among the living."
Jancis Milburga: "Mayhaps. Seems Nymeia put you where you needed to be as well. Always travelling on your own."
Jancis Milburga smiles, "Not as much anymore."
Asmodean Gaidin: "Very true. I wish she just didn't have a habit of biting when she hungry."
Jancis Milburga looks concerned, coming over. "Has she broken skin?"
Asmodean Gaidin: "No... no still not strong enough for that yet. She reminds me a bit of you.... at least when it comes to fruit." He shakes head. "Such lively friends you have Jancis."
Jancis Milburga looks surprised as he mentions the resemblance. "I do not blame her; fruit is very good. I shall be sure to always have some on hand now should I run into you both."
Jancis Milburga squints happily at Asmodean, "And you are not lively? You were at the hot springs and having a happy time of it. These springs are just... not as hot.."
Asmodean Gaidin pulls a few cut up pieces of fruit from a side pouch and places his hand with in reach of the colt. "You need not worry about her." He thinks back to bronze lake. "Enjoyable but I was far more quite then I should have been. Maybe this one can help me... better myself." He looked down at the colt again as she nibbled at the food.
Jancis Milburga cannot help but have that melting adoring look on her face, smiling warmly at the little one nibble on fruit cubes. "That I have no doubt. Â Does that mean you will be spending more time elsewhere?"
Jancis Milburga watches the babe quietly for a bit, "Has milk been a problem? Mayhaps that is why she nips at you so, might take you for something of a mother figure as well father."
Asmodean Gaidin: "I still have work in the North to finish.... However the man that gives me my order more or less order me to rest so I was luck to have to time to be here. Once the contract is over I may avoid the place for a time but.... as I'm sure you seen. They need all the help they can get.
Asmodean Gaidin face turned a bit red. " No... milk as been fine.... doesn't even need a bottle so a small blow works."
Jancis Milburga: "That is good. Are many skilled hands to help out from the flocks on the Isle if you need."
Asmodean Gaidin: "Oh... You as well... Asmodean Gaidin.... of Ul'dah." He nodded as he spoke his name, seeing as his hands wore currently tied up.
Asmodean Gaidin: "Nice as always Lady Jancis but I think it's time for me to return to The Roost for now. Safe travels."
Jancis Milburga: "You as well, Sir Gaidin. And little one. Be safe."
Asmodean Gaidin nods his head at those still about before turning to began his walk back to Gridania.
Togy Brandmakt: So why are we here? I know T'shina asked me to keep an eye on you.. but.. why?
Autumn Moore: "O-Oh! I've never been to a gathering like this before.. I came more out of curiosity. You may leave if you want."
Togy Brandmakt shook his head "Nope.. Can't do that"
Autumn Moore: "W-Why not?"
Togy Brandmakt gave a small shrug "A request for a friend" He muttered quietly. "Enjoy yourself, just know that I'm here.. to keep an eye on ya"
Nako'li Chalahko stretches and heads towards the canvas
Nako'li Chalahko inclines his head to Jancis. "If I may?"
Jancis Milburga smiles and bows to Nako'li, "Is good to see you once again. How is your back fairing all well?"
Nako'li Chalahko nods  "Aye, and my leg, luckily I have my vision back, of a sort." he gestures to the device over his left eye socket."
Jancis Milburga stares at Nako'li's eye for a minute. "Byregot's Grace! You are nearly a walking marvel of such! Like Captain Dogberry!"
Nako'li Chalahko chuckles. "All thanks to Clio, She performed the metalwork on the housing, I prepared the 'eye'"
Nako'li Chalahko moves away from the canvas.
Jancis Milburga: "Agreed Lord Nako'li. She is a marvel with, ah, gizmos it was? Well she surely can make metal sing at least."
Nako'li Chalahko chuckles. "Again, I am no lord, no more than Gareth is a Sir." he bows. "However, I will take this opportunity to leave my mark on the canvas."
Jancis Milburga murmurs an apology to Nako'li and bows.
Jancis Milburga: "Is too good of a place to dispute such a feeling."
Gareth Evershield walks forward, holding up a hand in Nako's direction. "It's only a matter of time, Lieutenant! Give it a few years, I might reach a knighthood!" He grins.
Nako'li Chalahko waves off her apology. "Were I ever to attain the riches that Otto has, then we can re-look to what you call me." he turns towards the canvas, moving to the line.
Jancis Milburga: "Please feel free to grab a brush and add your own mark. Are plenty of paints and colors."
Nako'li Chalahko kneels and retrieves a brush, then near the center, underneath Jancis' own picture, the draws the scroll of Thaliak, with the symbol of Nald'thal located within it. His initials adorning the rolls of the scroll.
Nako'li Chalahko nods to himself and then turns away from the canvas, bowing to Jancis once more before leaving the rock.
Gareth Evershield lets out a small gasp of air as he looks up Nako's face.
Nako'li Chalahko raises an eyebrow at Gareth, with a slight chuckle at Jancis' comment. "Shouldn't you be elsewhere?"
Gareth Evershield raises an arm. "And miss this?"
Nako'li Chalahko: "It depends, if you are focusing on this rather than what you should be, I wonder what else escapes your attention?"
Nako'li Chalahko shrugs. "That is for another time, though I suggest you make your mark and think about your goals regarding your task."
Gareth Evershield furrows his eyebrows, crossing his arms. "Aye..."
Gareth Evershield nods his head. "Lieutenant."
Nako'li Chalahko returns the salute. "Corporal."
Gareth Evershield uncrosses his arms, a heavy breath escaping his lips, shaking his head with a shudder.
Nako'li Chalahko stands behind Erik, moving up silently. "Added your creative streak sir?"
Erik Mynhier: No, just trying to be less antisocial.
Nako'li Chalahko looks at him to the canvas and then to a paintbrush. Kneeling down and picking it up he offers it to Erik. "I'm not letting you leave here without making a mark of some kind." he grins.
Erik Mynhier: Oh I did already.
Nako'li Chalahko: "So when I asked....."
Erik Mynhier: Most of my goals are met, but I painted a sign that hopes for a smooth wedding.
Nako'li Chalahko nods. "I can understand that desire."
Nako'li Chalahko: "Have you set a date yet sir?"
Erik Mynhier: Sometime next month I think. Now that business has settled to normal.
Nako'li Chalahko: "Good call. Speaking of business, I have need for some of your time when you return to the Hall. I'll be heading away now, as I have some work to attend to."
Erik Mynhier: I will be there when I can.
Lilia Lia: "Saint Rai, would you like to draw something?"
Raisan Arcmantle: "I was debating what would be appropriate..."
Lilia Lia steps forward and takes the brush, drawing in two swift strokes a small heart, like the one on her cheek. Â She pauses for a second, then draws another, slightly smaller heart beside it.
Raisan Arcmantle: "I know what I'll do now. Tis only fitting."
Lilia Lia steps back to watch as Raisan takes his turn.
Raisan Arcmantle takes out his blacksmith hammer and a titanium rivet and punches it into the lower corner of the canvas. Changed to his goldsmith hammer and etches in the Harbringers emblem into the head of the rivet.
Lilia Lia: "Ah... I should have expected something such as that."
Lilia Lia: "Saint Rai, shall we?"
Raisan Arcmantle: "Aye, I think I should get back to work. I have a large order of titanium to fill."
