Arry for the most part is comedy relief. She's also a side character, kind of happy, rarely gets angry type. She tends to be a sidekick, rather than a 'hero' type.
Akayuri is more or less the same, though less comedy relief aside from her 'broken Eorzean' and not knowing most of the slang. She's also a 'background' character, the type that kind of just hangs around quietly watching, then can tell other people about it. Like a narrator. Most of the time characters won't even know she's there unless they spot her (which is actually how she got into HoD IC; for weeks she just watched everyone until Lainseworth and Val spotted her in a corner behind a potted plant).
