Locke Fairwind: "Now there's a familiar set of robes. Still following me around, Jan?" He teased, as a little chuckle escaped past his lips.
Coatleque Crofte just stands there silently.
Jancis Milburga looks up from her work, "Locke! Was it something Val said? I had stopped by only onc-" she started before laughing, "It is good to see you, too."
Locke Fairwind: "Heh, likewise. Still not injecting poison into yourself, are ya?" He glanced over toward the woman behind her. "A friend of Jan's? Name's Locke. Good to meet ya."
Coatleque Crofte nods once.
Jancis Milburga: "Forgive me. I had to start over after the fuss. I had simply wanted some company to make the time pass easier."
Locke Fairwind: "All the same, be careful with that kind of stuff. Anyway, I believe I've taken enough of your time after interrupting you two. I'm gonna go sit down and take a load off for now."
Jancis Milburga nods, smiling at Locke, before turning back to Cici.
Koporo Aporo "Were a good speech ya gave, Ser Otto."
Otto Vann: "Thank you Kopo, glad you liked it."
Otto Vann: "What made you think it wa good?"
Koporo Aporo "Ah, some relatability, I s'pose. Ya know ma sis' is Jajara righ'?"
Otto Vann: "I hadn't the faintest clue til just now."
Koporo Aporo "Tha hair's a dead giveaway. I used ta glamour it, but not anymore."
Koporo Aporo removed his visor and turban, holding it at his side.
Koporo Aporo "She's blessed by Byregot, I tells ya."
Otto Vann: "I guess I never looked at either of you like that before. Â Forgive me a moment though Kopo, I have someone I need ot haev a worrd with."
Koporo Aporo "Sure. Go on ahead."
Fiona Cooper dips in her pocket and takes something, popping it in her mouth as she watches people paint.
Otto Vann pokes Fiona Cooper.
Gideon Aryeh: "Hey there you two."
Fiona Cooper looks up from watching everyone paint and nods. Â "Otto. Â ... Hello."
Otto Vann: "Good evening Fiona."
Gideon Aryeh winks at Fiona and nods to Otto
Gideon Aryeh: "Boss."
Fiona Cooper quirks a brow. Â "Boss? Â You work for im now?" Â She'd look between the two.
Otto Vann: "Ah, yes. Â Good evening Gideon and yes, he works under me."
Gideon Aryeh: "It works. Always good to hook up with the rich guy."
Gideon Aryeh: "Heh, haven't seen some of these faces in a bit."
Gideon Aryeh looks at the two
Gideon Aryeh: "Anways, you two look like you need to talk."
Gideon Aryeh: "Later!"
Fiona Cooper nods. Â "I see." She'd shuffle a foot and itch at her neck. Â "... Oh! Â Ok. Â ... See you around.
Otto Vann: "See you around."
Fiona Cooper: "How have you been? Â Good I hope?"
Otto Vann: "Better than most, but that's to be expected. Â I wonder how you're doing since we last spoke though."
Fiona Cooper: "I am fine. Â Just fine."
Fiona Cooper: "Well this time I am -clean.- Â That is a plus."
Fiona Cooper: "Oh?"
Nadine Marteau looks to Otto surprised, but nods, "That depends entirely on what she does."
Nadine Marteau looks to Fiona with a smile, Â "Hello there."
Fiona Cooper: "I am working on artificial organs."
Nadine Marteau: Truly? That sounds fascinating. Not entirely like what I've been doing, but fascinating.
Fiona Cooper: "And what is it you've been working on?"
Nadine Marteau: Lately? I've been deconstructing illuminati technology to gain a better understanding of it. My main goal righ now is the creation of new weapons for Ishgard's war, but...hm.
Fiona Cooper: "I was working with organic materials before, but I've been spending a large amount of time in Ishgard studying how to use machinery to try and incorporate that in my designs. Â Though funding has been low, so it has been slow."
Nadine Marteau nods, "I'm very interested, personally. Though I primarily create weapons and tools of war, my reasons for doing so are  to limit the toll it takes in lives. Needless to say, artificial organs would do wonders for that."
Fiona Cooper nods. Â "They tried to teach me how to shoot a gun while I was out there, but I wasn't that great at it. Â I'm horrible with weapons."
Nadine Marteau chuckles, "I'm quite a good shot myself, not to boast. It's why I end up on field work more often than not."
Nadine Marteau: Of course, I was raised a smith, so I grew up around weapons.
Fiona Cooper: "I grew up in a lab. Â Never had any reason to pick up a weapon. Â I almost shot my own eye out the first time they handed me a gun."
Nadine Marteau frowns, "Oh my. That means firearms aren't exactly serving the purpose we intended for them, perhaps."
Fiona Cooper: "I'm more clumsy than most. Â Maybe if I practiced more. Â ... Though don't you think making a weapon that anybody could get their hands on makes them more dangerous? Â Someone that normally wouldn't be able to cause harm now can?"
Nadine Marteau considers, nodding "Very true, but our world is dangerous enough as is, and as an alchemist, you know that even things like some plants can be a lethal weapon. People who want to harm others will find a way. A more accessible weapon only benefits those who could not protect themselves or their kin otherwise."
Nadine Marteau: You have given me an idea of my own, now.
Nadine Marteau: You see, the whole idea is that they are easier to use than most other arms and you can prepare almost anyone for a fight witht one, not merely knights or mercenaries.
Koporo Aporo "Miss Jancis. Miss Crofte."
Cyneler Fenrir: oh no.
Coatleque Crofte: "Ser Aporo."
Koporo Aporo scratched the back of his head, smiling slightly. "My apologies fer not keepin' in contact wit' ya, Crofte, it weren't nothin' personal."
Cyneler Fenrir: miss Jancis.
Jancis Milburga bows her head polite at both the men. "Good day."
Koporo Aporo "Jus'...Tryin' ma hand at a lil' independenc, that's all."
Coatleque Crofte: "We all have our burdens to bear. Â I am sure you've been quite busy."
Chachanji Gegenji makes a straight face at Koporo Aporo.
Koporo Aporo "Righ'..."
Koporo Aporo "..." Koporo lets out a sigh. "Is there a problem, Chachanji?"
Koporo Aporo "Yer givin' me tha look again."
Chachanji Gegenji: "Jus' wonderin' if'n ya 'member what we talked 'bout last time, is all."
Koporo Aporo reacted with immediate agitation. "I TOLD ya, I ain't gon' cause any prollem's fer Miss Jancis while I'm 'ere. Now if'n ya'd kindly lay off..."
Chachanji Gegenji stares at Koporo silently for a moment, and then shakes his head and turns his attentions to other matters... like reading over his rather messily written speech.
Koporo Aporo "Guh. I don' even know why I bother wit' ya."
Koporo Aporo gave Chuchukepa a poke on the shoulder.
Koporo Aporo "Well, lookie who it is."
Chuchukepa Hohokepa: "O-oh. Hello, Koporo."
Koporo Aporo opens his arms, drawing Chuchukepa into, of all things, a HUG. "How ya been, eh?
Koporo Aporo "Bahaha, whas' wrong?"
Koporo Aporo "Yer still with ma Sis, ain't ya? An ya ain't done nothin' wrong, righ'?"
Chuchukepa Hohokepa: "F-fine, thank you! Um..." He flushes with embarrassment, showing signs of not having interacted with anyone in some span of time. "Nothing... n-no, nothing! What... what brings you to this awful place? Are you here for the pilgrimage too?"
Koporo Aporo "No, I wanted ta look at tha Morbols."
Koporo Aporo "Course I came fer tha Pilgrimage."
Chuchukepa Hohokepa: "A-and to answer your question, yes, of course Jajara and I are still together! She's just quite busy with work, anyroad..."
Koporo Aporo "Then yer in ma good graces" he says plainly. "An' good on ya fer that, cause otherwise I'd have ta use tha sword."
Chuchukepa Hohokepa: "P-pray, keep that put away then...!"
Koporo Aporo "Don' give me reason ta use it."
A white tabard guard approaches. "You will not make threats at this pilgrimage"
Koporo Aporo: "Alrigh', alrigh', sheesh."
The guard leaves without saying anything more.
Jancis Milburga: "Welcome Pilgrims! I am beyond honored to welcome you here on behalf of all those who follow the Builder."
Koporo Aporo "Miss Jancis..." Koporo gave a bow before her, nearly dropping his turban in the process. "Thank ya fer another pilgrimage."
Jancis Milburga bows to Koporo, trying to mimic the depth, "You are very welcome. Happy you could come and visit with friends. Did you partake anything in particular?"
Koporo Aporo despite composing himself as a gentlemen, there was...Something off, about Koporo's disposition. A haunting presence that seemed to snap at the air. "...Lot's of reminders of my sis. I should go see her again, some time."
Koporo Aporo "...I can only hope." That statement stinged more than it had any right to.
Jancis Milburga gives Koporo a hopeful look, "Must needs expect the best and prepare for the worst only. Shall you add to the mural?"
Koporo Aporo gave that a moment of thought, but it amounted to nothing. "I'm not sure what ta add...?"
Jancis Milburga: "Not sure... well what is something you wish to build? To form? When all your work is done, what will it look like?"
Koporo Aporo "...I might have an idear..." He waddled off to the canvas, picking up the brush.
Koporo Aporo "Ya...Kinda corny, but I like it." He points to the arrangement of stick figures with the words "Fahmly" written underneath.
Koporo Aporo "Well, if'n it ain't the happy couple!"
Koporo Aporo "I'm-...I...I could be better, I s'pose."
Erik Mynhier: Hello Koporo.
Koporo Aporo "But hey, this ain't 'bout me, how are both o' ya'll?"
Erik Mynhier: I am well. Just enjoying a quiet day.
Koporo Aporo "Good to hear Clio hasn't driven ya mad."
Cliodhna Eoghan Turns back to Kopo. "I'm sorry to hear that, hopefully things will be better for you soon."
Erik Mynhier: Never, I tend to fear I bore her more then she drives me mad.
Cliodhna Eoghan Makes a mock tisking sound. "I only drive him mad at night." Winks back
Koporo Aporo "Again with the self-confidence...C'mon Erik, lighten up. Yer fine."
Cliodhna Eoghan: Did you add to the wall already, Kopo?
Koporo Aporo "Ya...Kinda corny, but I like it." He points to the arrangement of stick figures with the words "Fahmly" written underneath.
Cliodhna Eoghan Smiles. "It's not corny if it has feeling behind it."
Koporo Aporo "...Mmm..."
Cliodhna Eoghan: I should go add something before there's no room left....
Cliodhna Eoghan Glances over at the canvas
Koporo Aporo "Please, do."
Cliodhna Eoghan: I'll be seeing you the, Kopo
Koporo Aporo "Ya'll take care now, ya hear?"
Cliodhna Eoghan: You too
Koporo Aporo: Koporo Aporo grabs onto Lush Morbol and holds on for dear life! "Yer not gon' get away from ME!"
Chachanji Gegenji: "... Mumbles is makin' a racket again..."
Jana Ridah: Tch... I'd better check on Ser Koporo...
Jana Ridah runs off, her business on hold!
Chachanji Gegenji: "Y-ya could refer ta 'im by name..." he murmurs as Jana hustles after Koporo.
