Characterization

General

S'amina is a new face in Ul'dah, fresh from the Black Shroud. Being the fourth youngest of a whopping five siblings had her wanting to get out from under her mother's loving (and belittling) thumb, and though she feels she doesn't yet have much skill that's of any worth there's nowhere she can go but up!

Appearance

She has a sweetly rounded face face and large eyes which are a bit at odds with the scars and overall sleekly muscular tomboyishness the rest of her figure possesses. S'amina is a rather ruddy over all, with skin inclined to flush like a tomato and hair the color of a ginger cookie, though it does have white tips. Though average in height she carries herself in a manner that makes herself seem smaller unless it's a rare occasion she -wants- to get attention.

Voice

Her tone has some of that Miqo'te growl to it, and is in the mid to low register for ladies of her race. It's a voice that should be inclined to raucous laughter and belting out a song with more cheer than tone.

Behavior

S'amina spends a lot of time on the sidelines for fear of her mouth writing her an IOU she won't be able to pay up. She's a bit socially awkward, feels as though she has the vocabulary of a yokel, and is in general a kindly soul that's rough around the edges when it comes to social graces. Once she's managed to -speak- to someone she'll happily chatter away until her flow gets broken or her self-consciousness acts up, leading to many a foot-in-mouth situation. She doesn't quite know how to handle compliments or come-ons, and will side-eye sudden intense focus on her.

Combat

S'amina doesn't like to start a fight, but if she does she'll throw her fists and feet until it's finished one way or another. Her stint with the Pugilist's guild is helping her to add dodging and dancing out of harm's way to her tactics, though she's still just a young pup learning the ropes and apt to forget.

Relationships

Family

Father - S'fhey Nunh, one of the breeding males among the Black Shroud's Seeker tribes. He lost the battle for Nunh after S'amina left, and has taken to wandering, but this is the name she last knew him well by.

Mother - S'orell Rahn, one of the Black Shroud S tribe's many hunters.

S'amina the fourth of five children. Her youngest brother and one elder sister with a maimed leg still live with S'orell in the Black Shroud. Her eldest brother and sister have gone their own ways in the world though they still manage to keep in touch from time to time.
