Basic Info

Yahri'a Wahkin is an average sized male Migo'te Keeper of the Moon. He has a characteristic palid skin tone and bluish body hair. His tail is shorter than the average for Keepers of the Moon, and is more more wide, resembling a canine tail. His eyes are dark yellow and very absorbing while being also highly frightening. He also has characteristic face markings and a mane covering much of his face.

He is an adept spearman, being very religious about his training with the spear. For the moments when he won't have his spear around, he trains his fists to still be capable of surviving and defeating his foes.

Yahri'a has one journey to find his place among the packs of Keepers, and also try and find some clue about his father's whereabouts. But this is only what made him begin his quest. Who knows what else lurks in the tides of fate for him?

History

Yahri’a Wahkin was raised as first male amongst dozens of female childs of Yahri Wahkin. Yahri Wahkin was the the female pack leader of the Keeper of the Moon Migo’te pack from the surroundings of lake Bhsa Killililyht, of Black Shroud. Yahri Wahkin’s pack was formed mostly by the children of Pahja’to Molkot with Yahri Wahkin and her sisters of pack. They were sisters and cousins at the same to Yahri’a. Yahri’a grew surrounded by females and that is the scenario he was accustomed to see and live. Although many of his sisters made fun of his differential anatomy, all the older females taught the younger ones to respect him as for he was given a very difficult and important task.

His mother had high expectations for her only (for the moment) male child. His father Pahja’to Molkot was a great spearman who attained the right of copulation within his mother’s pack, even though Pahja’to was the older of the contenders. He has also proven his worth and was allowed to stay in the pack, but he has left to nowhere be found after the birth of his first and only male son, Yahri’a. No one understood the reasons Pahja’to had to leave the pack, or even where he would have gone.

As is not uncommon in the culture of this race, the (few) male childs of the packs are raised until puberty and are released into the land to spread their genes and never return to their born pack. As they live in a matriarchal society, the males after successfully copulating with a good amount of females of one pack are usually not allowed to stay in the pack, and are outcast. The choice they have to make is between trying their space in another pack (competing with other males and proving his worth to the pack. Only the younger and stronger ones are able) or living lonesome lives outside any pack.

The Calamity and the beginning of the Seventh Umbral Era coincided with the reach of puberty for Yahri’a. After attaining puberty, the pack prepared his ritual of sexual initiation, where every female of the pack (but his mother) were to lay with him and prepare him to his sexual life. This ritual was gone for one entire moon cycle. After the completion of the ritual, he was expelled from his pack. Yahri’a was to seek a new pack of Keepers to perpetuate his genes and to try to have his place secured within this new pack. For the glory of his mother Yahri. But Yahri’a often thoughts of his father made him curious about the reasons for his leaving of the pack. And then, after leaving the outskirts of Bhsa Killililyht lake, he went directly to Gridania, where he was able to join the spearmen guild, where Pahja’to once trained. He was there to train to best his opponents that would compete with him for the right of copulation and proving to the female pack that he was worth the stay and to find any clue from Pahja’to whereabouts.

Although his journey seems selfish and silly for the most races, this struggle is lived by many males Keepers of the Moon. It’s the struggle for a calm life and the right to copulation in a completely matriarchal society. It is worth all a male can give, and one can bet that they (all the males) will give all they have to get it. That’s why he has to be the best, or one of the best, to outplay his foes competitors, and even harder, to prove his worth for the females of the pack. Also, he has the personal quest of finding the reasons for his father, an older Keeper of the Moon, who had conquered his place among the pack of many females (utmost desire of any male Keeper), to leave the pack without a trace.

Personality

Yahri'a is very young, despite his looks. He is a lot energetic and talkative. He has no problem to show his emotions to women. By growing up in a pack with a overwhelming number of females with no contact with other men and being raised to hate other men, Yahri'a is very uneasy around males. He preferes solitude over the company of no women. He is strong, but relutant, for he is still very young.
