The Rosewood Coterie, also known as the Rosewood Post informally, is a small band of couriers headquartered in Gridania. While delivery moogles will suffice for most menial delivery tasks, some letters or parcels are of a higher importance or value. This is there the Rosewood Coterie comes in. Founded by the skilled lalafellin archer, Yayonzo Poponzo, the Rosewood Post exists to provde an extra assurance that these higher priority packages will be delivered safely and swiftly. Composed of adventureres from all walks of life, the company of couriers strives to be a reliable alternative to delivery moogles for deliveries that require an extra bit of care. The Rosewood Coterie is a character drive, story based FC. This means that most of our RP will center around interactions between the characters as they react to the situations around them. We plan on putting the cast through different story arcs, forming a plot that links our events and offhand RP together. Our events are centered around a simple tabletop system that we'll be developing along the way, meaning every mission or delivery comes with the risk of failure, and an extra element of surprise. These events can vary from a few simple combat challenges, to stealthier sneaking trial, and more. If you're a fan of tabletop gaming, consider giving us a look! As our numbers increase, we would also love to run some of the PvE content the game has to offer. This would include map nights, a casual static, and anything else you might recommend! Nestled on the shores of the lake in the Lavender Beds is a newly erected building that has seen quite a bit of foot traffic over the last several suns. Most prominent among them is a woman, starlight pale and garbed in red, who seems in every appearance to be guiding the strong-backed laborers and gardeners in their work. The placard, erected after the departure of the officials, bears the following words in a flowing script: “Red Lantern Bordello.” The workers now gone, the red-garbed woman seems alone - save for the shadows that slip in at night to find shelter and rest before leaving again. Ever do they come with hunched shoulders and hungry eyes, and always do they leave with lightness in their steps, their clothes and bodies washed, their hunger eased. Of late, a scattering of flyers has been seen in the city states, the gilded script of the Bordello announcing the hiring of staff as much as it holds the doors open for those who have little to nothing, offering a place of refuge in exchange for easy tasks to help the upkeep of the small building. The announcement reads as follows: “The Red Lantern Society is hiring companions of all race and genders, security of all ranges, and housing staff of all skills. We offer warm meals, comfortable lodging, and fair pay for skills-based work. Aetherveil FC is a Phoenix-based roleplay free company. Until July 2022 we are hosting Esper Care at our large estate, a medical themed RP venue. In August we will be re-opening as Aetherveil, an adventure themed venue focusing on all aspects of adventuring. This includes crafting weapons, poisons, and other crafting RP, to planning skirmishes and tactical plans, executing plans, adventures, and hunts, and finally post-adventure activity adventures (otherwise known as drinking through our livers in the tavern). Goodness Gracious that is a wordy title! Maybe we can acronym it up a bit. Hm yeah, nah, that isn't going to work out at all is it. Anyways! Hyperion is about the coolest darn server! We've got us, we've got you, we've got about a dozen other groups too! Without specifying group names, and without even doing my due diligence as to whether or not they even exist I'm going to take a moment to list what we almost definitely have, not because I know it firsthand, but because we're cool enough how could we not?! We have brothels, adventurers hubs, gambling dens in Mor Dhona, we've got maids, tea houses, rowdy bars, lominsan pirate groups, probably a lizard fighting club or two! We've almost definitely got world RP (I know I've seen it at least once!) and the best part is, if it doesn't exist, we can make it! All of us together in on this glorious mob of creativity! Please look forward to it! To make a public statement! I am not pretending or intending to be in charge of anyone, nor am I trying to be more than a rallying flag to plant in the ground of this website to let our voices as a collective known! Both the teachers and students at Lunar are players roleplaying their characters. Most roleplay revolves around scheduled classes (60–120 minutes) that teach various subjects related to adventuring life. We also have student-run clubs, field trips and fun seasonal events organized by the student council. We have a free company house (Balmung Goblet W4 P60) where most classes and casual roleplay tends to happen. It holds classrooms, a cafeteria and even a theatre! Lunar has an official school uniform that students are expected to wear for all school outings in order to represent our amazing (and sometimes a little wacky) community.
