IC: The Rangers are a combined Adders Squad and Free Company of Adventurers assigned under the Yellow Serpents of the Twin Adders (Grand Company of Gridania). Their mission is to aid citizens and visitors alike in the Shroud, and be a line of defense in the Shroud to all threats foreign and domestic. The Rangers are also closely tied units of the Maelstrom and Flames, having Liaisons to them. Tho'a Tchalla is also looking for Liaisons to Doma, while being a Liaison to Ala Mhigo himself.
