I play a Kagon and am trying to get around the sunlight thing by saying that she just covers up enough to keep the sun off her, but I'm having trouble with glamours. I'm blm main, currently going through Heavensward, and there are surprisingly few hoods available for us to glamour. I'm wearing the brand-new set rn since it has a huge hood in the back, but you can't actually pull the hood up, so it's not ideal. Any recommendations?

Was playing around with character creator and made a raen version of my xaela. It kind of got me wondering-how common are albino xaela? How are they treated? With how they're apparently proud of their scales, would it be seen as an ill omen? Bad luck? ...yeah if it isn't obvious i actually really like the alternate appearance of my character

The answer to this might be spoiler since it's asking about one of the new zones, but is there any new information on the desert Xaela tribes? The Kagon, the Bairon, etc? I'm not anywhere near Stormblood content yet, but it'd be helpful for my Kagon lady. I know the Azim Steppe is a zone, but not if we see any of the desert at all.

Heya! I'm a WoW and Istaria player, but a friend of mine's been playing FFXIV and finally convinced me to try it. We're both med-heavy RPers and planned to transfer to Balmung. That, uh...yeah, obviously that won't work out anymore. We ended up going for Mateus and have had a great time there so far though, and I'm excited to get into the game and RP more I'm still learning most of the lore, but I've got the wiki bookmarked to help with that.

I'm brand new, just made my character right after maintenance. I'd been lurking on here and asking around on Reddit, and was told there wasn't any options other than Balmung, so I was feeling incredibly discouraged when I learned I wouldn't even be able to transfer other. Instead of giving up, I decided to try Mateus. Not only that did I find random rp later on in the day, but the people I met were incredibly welcoming. Seriously, my friends list is filling up ridiculously fast rn. I definitely recommend Matty to anyone who found themselves lost after the server locks.
