Rules In Character Rules Here is what we expect from your character before and after joining. Abide by the lore We aren't lore strict, but have a realistic character. RPing with an overpowered, flawless character isn't fun. We encourage creativity, and if that doesn't necessarily follow every bit of lore, that is ok but don't completely disregard it. If you need help figuring out things lore-wise or are not sure how to make your character fit, then we would be more than happy to help! But let someone know before RPing so that we can figure it out together. Have character consistency Once you join IC, do not begin changing everything about your character. It makes it difficult for everyone else to understand your character and get familiar with them if you are constantly changing them. Any major changes you want to make (like race, gender, backstory), let everyone know before you do it so we can make arrangements to have it work. If you need help understanding how to have a consistent character, be sure to ask and we can help. No God-modding You aren't perfect, and neither is your character. They will mess up, get hurt, or fail and that is apart of making a realistic and relatable character. Always ask for consent If your character has plans to do harm to another character, make sure you have asked permission to do so. Here are some examples where consent is required; Physical or emotional harm ERP Romance Flirting No public ERP It's fine to do so, but do it in your own private time and in party chat or /tell. Do not at our club events or other RP events. Out of Character Rules Here is what we expect from you as a player before and after joining. Be active, friendly, and helpful Participate in company events, whether it be RP or PvE. Help out fellow members by answering questions, doing dungeons, or joining in farms. Inactivity in game without explanation for more than 30 days will result in being kicked from both the company, and discord. So let us know if something comes up or you aren't able to get online for an extended period of time. Lack of communication in discord and in game in general will make you a candidate for removal. We are looking for people who want to get to know us as friends, rather than just people to RP or game with. If you don't plan on being active in our community then it is best you look else where. One warning will be made if you are inactive in these aspects, and if you continue to make no attempts at being apart of our group then you will be kicked. Getting online for only a few minutes then logging out also does not count as being active. Be respectful Everyone has feelings, so don't step on them. I don't care what excuse you have we don't have time for rudeness. Absolutely no derogatory or offensive statements/words allowed. You will be warned once if something you say is passing the boundaries of comfort for anyone. More than one offense and you will be immediately kicked. Here are some examples of what is not allowed in our group; Homophobia Transphobia Futa (or futa jokes) Racism Sexism Ableism No drama Don't start it with anyone in the group, or anyone outside the group. Join our discord It is mandatory that you join and remain active in our discord, as this is where we discuss RP, PvE plans, and our characters. Joining us If you've read all our rules and agree to follow them, and would still like to join then here are the steps you can take! Contact us here, via ClubCactuar! Or, contact anyone online via game with the tag CC-CS (Cactuar Squad)! Once we've discussed your interest in joining, we will ask to meet you out of character in game and get to know you as a person to see if you'd be a good fit while also looking around our house (if you are able)! After this, we will get in contact with you in one or two days to let you know if we'd like to have you join. If we do, we'll ask for a sample of your RP type and skill. Even if you are new to RP, we'd like to see what you can do! If we've all come to an agreement with you joining, then we'll have you meet us in either Kugane or Limsa (if you are too low level to access Shirogane without a teleport). And RP you into the company! Be aware that we are a very small group that are all good friends, and if this isn't the type of environment you are looking for then you may not be a good fit. We are looking for good people who have a genuine interest in being apart of our group to join, and who will make an active commitment to become a new friend. We have no intention on being a large fc, and prefer quality over quantity. General Questions What type of Free Company are you? We're pretty much what the description says! To the public we're a host and entertainment club, but for those needing assistance with a local mystery then perhaps we have a service to help. We'll do an odd job every once in awhile to mix things up, but our biggest focus is on serving all those who come through our doors and reach out to us! Can you tell me about the host aspect? Our hosts are one of the most important roles when it comes to opening our doors to events! Hosts see to guests and keep each occupied and content! This can be fetching drinks, food, listening to a patrons long day, or having a simple conversation. Certain hosts can be requested in case there is a certain one of us you like best, but the host needs to be notified three days in advance to events or meetings. What about the entertainment? Entertainers provide a variety of skills and talents to the stage! Singing, dancing, playing music, acting, magic displays, or a visual performance are all examples of what can be chosen but aren't limited to. During events entertainers have a true chance to shine in front of guests and hosts alike! Is the entertainment aspect the same as hosting? No, not necessarily. You can be either just a host or just an entertainer, or both if you'd like! Entertainers don't perform the same duties as a host might like fetching drinks or idle conversation, but they are encouraged to mingle with patrons when not on stage. What about the investigators? Our investigative unit is made up of all members of the company, and any current cases those with the best skills suited for the job will be picked. If you don't wish to participate in club activities, then this would be the best alternative for you! Though we do like to see everyone together when the club is open. Do you have security roles? Yes, though not as involved as the other roles security is still an important task within the club. Aside from insuring no fighting or stealing is occurring, this job will have you checking on the other rooms within the club. We also encourage casual chatter with guests and insuring all rules of the club are being followed. Where are you located? Shirogane, Ward 5, Plot 43. How often do you RP? We try to keep to scheduled days and times which are typically Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and occasionally Saturday or Sunday depending on what kind of RP is going on. Character plots tend to go on for multiple days so we like to make sure the person hosting them is able to get through their plotline. Events? All events pertaining to the club will be added at a later date! How often do you do PvE content? Everyday really, we often help each other with dungeons or roulettes! As well as doing trials, raids, maps, potd, and primal farms. We do extremes as well, and have interest in savage content! We put as much focus on PvE as we do RP, and will sometimes mix the two together. Are you LGBTQ+ friendly? Yes, all of us are gays. How many members do you have? Currently, 6. How do I join?
