Looking For: Romance/Friends RP Type: I do all sorts of rp and it just depends on the characters and my mood. I've done everything from plot, to romance, to fluff, to dark, and more. I like to keep things flowing naturally though and don't promise things like Romance. It has to happen through the rp! IC INFO: I tend to like to keep most things to rp so just the basics will be here. W'toya is the Headhunter of the Hoarhounds sept of the Wolf totem. He takes a great deal of pride and meaning in what it is to be Wolf Seeker and this can be seen in how he carries himself. Having said this he isn't a typical Seeker male and is rather calm, mature, focused, and friendly without being over the top. His sister's (who are played by two other players and not npcs) often rely on him as do many of his friends. To most of the people he knows he is seen as the big level headed brother who will always give them sound thoughts even if it might be something they don't want to hear. He loves to play music, namely the flute and panpipes. He also loves to fish in all its forms or whittle when he has down time. The man is always fond of exploring and has a tendency to tease people the second he sees an opening to do such. Toya has a strong affinity for ice magic and feels very at home in cold weather like that of Coerthas. For more information its best to rp with him!   3. Name: Kura'to Jhovu Gender: Male Race: Miqote Clan: Keeper Citizenship: None Age: 26 Marital Status: Single Sexual Orientation: Bi-Sexual with a leaning towards the same sex. Name Day: Third Astral Moon Guardian: Menphina Occupation: Pirate of the Dread Wyrms, Monk, Minor skill with a bow Bio: A lost Keeper looking for some semblance of a "home". Kura'to has always been in search of what it means to have a home and what a family is. Such things are rarely questioned by male Keepers, but he wasn't like the others. At first he was kicked out of his clan when he was ten for a display of uncontrolled aggression and rage. It wasn't like the clan to just leave him to die so they found an older woman who always stopped by the Clan to take him with her. She did and raised the young cub to adulthood. She spent no time training the boy in martial arts and taught him as much as she could. The woman was a surviving member of the Temple of Rhalgar. She saw this as an attempt not only to help the boy control his rage, but also to continue a dying profession, a dying art. Years later after the loss of Olava Warsong, his makeshift parent, he returned to where his clan was and was met with an empty waste filled with ruined homes and carts. It was covered in thick ivy and as a result it was difficult to tell the cause of such destruction. Was it by bandits or attackers of some kind? Did they die out for other reasons like starvation? Or did they simple move away for an unknown reason. He didn't know. So he moved on. Why did he even come back? He moved to Uldah where he started taking all the jobs he could just to afford living while being bothered with his reasons for even looking for a place that left him behind. Some time drinking among other things lead to him to realize he felt lost and out of place. He didn't understand what a home was. He was always moving, His clan left him behind and his mentor always kept a hand between them. What was a real home? The people who were born to but sent you away or the teacher who kept a distance between you? He wasn't sure but he wanted to find out. He got a better hand of his rage thanks to Olava, but it still surfaced and he gained a reputation for being deadly when provoked. His contacts started to call him the Puma of Uldah. Provoke the beast and you'll regret it. A mistake people make based on his outgoing personality and active nature. Most assuming he isn't the Puma until they enrage him. After some time working freelance Kura'to thought to himself that perhaps he needed to find an organisation to stay in. Some group. Maybe that will help him understand what a home could be. If not at least he'd find better pay and living conditions. It was in light of this desire he came across a few gossiping wenches in the Quick Sands. The two ladies discussed a group called the Dread Wyrms and how they had a reputation for getting work done, being ruthless, and close knit. This seemed like the perfect opportunity. A chance for better coin and a chance to see what this "family is like". OOC Info: I'm open to most any kind of rp connections whether our characters knew one another before we start rping or we could just pick up our rp encounter from a first meeting and see where it leads. I'm open to romantic rp too and I do find that kind of rp to be very enjoyable, but we'll have to let it play out naturally. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): I love medium to heavy rp though I am not against casual rp either. Creating bonds between characters through interactions is what I love and it can lead to some fun outcomes. I also like story driven rp with a plot and purpose. I have held a story that lasted nine months before so it isn't something I'm unfamiliar with. Views on RP combat and injuries: I am very comfortable with combat rp of a wide assortment and even with character injury though a discussion is required first between parties. My fc has it's own combat system so I'm quick to adapt to any kind of combat system. Though the Grindstone system works fine as well. Views on IC romance: I enjoy romance rp a fair amount and it's one of the most complex of character bonds. Having said that I require that there be a discussion about it before hand. I am also of mind that it happens naturally and is not forced. When forced it loses it's authenticity and luster. Any romance is ooc and not ic. Please do not blur the lines. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Always welcome. My character is a Hyur so if you'd like to be family you'd have to be one as well. At least for a direct relation. Now for predetermined friends or family like connections I'm fine with anything. Views on lore: I have been a part of ff14 for a long time so I know quite a bit about the lore. Having said that I believe that we always learn new things. So I'm sure there are more things out there I don't know. I like to stick to the lore, but I'm flexible.   6. Hello there folks![align=center] I'm looking for rp contacts of any variety. Perhaps a chance encounter or an old friend. Maybe a robber? I'm pretty open to any sort of rp and any way to start it. I'm fine with casual rp, friendship rp, and even romantic rp if the characters click. I'm not new to ff14 or rp and have had an rp partner for as long as nine months before creating a long rp plot. My time zone is EST. My character is called Teowulf Kantor or as most call him Teo. He's a midlander about 24 years of age and has recently joined the Dreadwyrms. He's a Monk of the shadow sect. He's level headed, honest, and well spoken. Something that tends to surprise people when they learn he is a martial artist. He has had a long running carrier with the underground and the Syndicate to a degree as well. While he has left that life behind now he still keeps in touch with his underground contacts. When it comes to romance I like to set out some ground rules so if that's what you want you'd have to talk to me in game. Teo leans towards males, but isn't against woman.   8. Ya I think the Dread Wyrms are prepared for any contract or sky pirate related RP. We have two ic airships so far and are on our way to the third one. ((We actually have three rank 50 ships just working them into ic)) I'm down for this new linkshell though so just hit me up in-game as Ashwyn Starsteel. It sounds like a good idea to have something like this and keep each other connected.
