The Licentia Eterna The Licentia Company is a trade organization founded by R'zulya Naryixa. The company has been serving the people of Eorzea and abroad for decades. It's known to most for it's nigh immaculate record of service, offering a wide variety of services such as networking and trade, but may also offer services such as courier service, and caravan protection, but the company is not limited to these services. Loan services are also offered to smaller businesses and individual traders, and merchants doing their dealings under the partnership of the company will receive protection and funding for their endeavors. As of now, recruitment missives branded with the Naryixa family crest have spread across Eorzea and abroad, tipping the scales towards their well established organization. The intricately printed letters inviting like-minded people individuals for employment and companionship, for both the company’s own benefit and theirs. The company functions primarily as a strong foundation for it's various tradespeople to expand their reach and grow their businesses, but remains it's own entity as a trade association under Eorzea’s law(s). Given the nature of the guild, many facets of it's structure are flexible as to allow merchants, tradespeople and all others under the company to work as they see fit, so long as their methods are profitable, and the company’s investments are not wasted on fruitless endeavours. While it may serve true that the company houses mostly artisans and tradespeople, there is more than meets the eye. Operating within the confines of the Licentia Lodge, the inter workings of the company’s hierarchy are a bit more fleshed out, unseeable by the untrained eye. Hello everyone! I'd like to toss my hat into the ring in effort to find someone who might be interested in my character. An adventurer by trade, but also someone with a scrutinizing eye for fashion and fine clothing. Perhaps you want to build connections? Maybe you want a traveling partner? She's traveled the wide breadth of Eorzea to the Far East and all of the lands in between; taking inspiration from local cultures and furnishing her Ul'dahn apartment with many souvenirs, fine silks and textiles taking the foremost importance. Despite her skill with a needle and thread, Pascel does not own a store of her own; her adventurous spirit would make her far too restless to do something like that. Instead, she primarily offers commission work. Her garments are not the most well known, but those who have ordered from her can attest to their quality. For all but the most incredibly exotic materials, she goes out in search of them herself. This can lead to rather... unbearable wait times for the clothing to be finished depending on the level of extravagance, but the end result is always quality work. Unfortunately, selling the occasional bejeweled dress does not cover for all of Pascel's expenses. Being an adventurer not only covers most of her regular expenses, it also gives her an excuse to go places. Indeed, she initially became an adventurer for no reason beyond the fact that she wanted to experience the vast world of fashion! At least, that is how she tells the story. For someone who only decided to go adventuring to see the sights, she is frighteningly efficient with her weapon of choice. Certainly a cut above your typical adventurer, although not at the level of those who dedicate wholly to the arts of battle. She has other skills to keep sharp, after all! Hello everyone! Just returned to FFXIV (sorta) and am looking for RP for my new main, a healer by the name of Lainey Shepard Currently located on the Crystal DC - Mateus and currently have no plans to server transfer at this time. Roleplay Free Company: Lainey is currently a healer without employment and has begun searching the adventuring companies for work. Outside of that, she may also be hired as a hostess or bartender in the meantime in order to make financial ends meet. Description Astrid is a slender, slip of a Hyur; a sunbeam frozen midday, she has a surprising radiance, though suitably hyperthermic traits still showed in her pale tone. Sun-kissed and immortally smooth, edging an almost unblemished and pure from the coruscating. Her hair freely-swaying waves of ginger, woven and braided together and up over the top of her head. The rest of her hair, covering her neck and framing the youthful Hyur's face, and down her forehead to the dusting of ebony lashes at her eyes. Eyes so similarly touched in muted brook-blue gaze outward, half-lidded, and aloof; necessary in such learned ruse to tame the teeming, wild gleams of youth. Her smiles sway from tawdry to terse, and her mirthless witticisms and deceptive indecision to cordial commentary suggest that occasional broad, impish grin was far more fitting a tell for her exact preference in comity, which worked poorly to allay the effects of sleepless evenings as she's so used too. Indeed, her most prized possessions are her equipment. Her gunblade Heartseeker and her armor Dawnguard. Heartseeker was a gift by a Miqo'te she unknowingly assisted during an inner struggle. Battling depression and self-doubt. Astrid stumbled upon him amidst the Starlight Festival. She made it her mission to pass out gifts to people she discovered alone and lingering against the wall. She just so happened to of gifted him one of these stuffed animals, in return, months later he gifted her Heartseeker. A simple, yet elegantly crafted gunblade. The weapon itself is maintained every chance Astrid can get, thoroughly oiling, dismantling, and cleaning every switch and lever she can access. Dawnguard, the Warrior's alabaster armor had recently received an upgrade. It's plate reworked and beaten down to better fit the Hyur. It now fits perfectly, as armor should. It's still lined with gold trim, though has more segmentation to allow greater mobility and added protection to the scrawny girl hidden within. The inner under-leather had been fully replaced, a bit more padding added to the cuirass, new belts and buckles had been added to the breastplate's sides along with the gauntlets and leggings. Just as with Heartseeker. Astrid conducts regular upkeep on her armor, making sure it's in tip-top shape and always ready at a moment's notice. Background Astrid was orphaned at an incredibly young age. Dropped off at the Orphanage in Limsa Lominsa at around the age of one. She knows next to nothing about her family or even her heritage other than her surname as it was inscribed on a small necklace she had on when placed before the doorstep. Around the age of ten, Astrid decided it was time to leave the Orphanage. She ran off into the city, never to be seen by her caretakers again. The Girl ended up mostly raising herself, with the assistance of strangers she met throughout her journey. She eventually learned how to hunt, and found she had a knack for singing and playing the lute. She cashed in on her skills, earning herself enough Gil for her day to day requirements. Over a year ago now Astrid enlisted in the Ashen Oathsworn, a group of mercenaries who seek to make Eorzea a better place. She's found a home with them. Many of whom she considers family and would do anything for them. She's grown, her energy channeled into a productive force to be reckoned with. Now dubbed a Justicar for the Oathsworn Astrid's made it her own personal mission to see to the mental health of the people within the Oathsworn. It's a difficult job, but she believes her positive attitude, optimistic outlook, and her ability to sit (not still) besides those she cares about and let them talk will prove invaluable for helping those struggling to pull themselves out of despair. Astrid more recently had begun uncovering her own family heritage. She knows whatever she uncovers doesn't define who she is as a person, but she's curious, and slowly she's begun unearthing information about her family. She's learned her actual surname is Wolfe, and her parents hail from Ishgard. Her mother a Noblewoman, while her Father was a House Guard. Their union a secret, and shunned by her Mother's house. Astrid sought to meet some of her family, though was attacked by her own Grandmother. Seemingly the only relative she's currently aware of. Amidst one of her trips to Ishgard, she stumbled across her source of Aether, allowing the Hyur to now use magic to the fullest extent. Untrained, and unfocused, the girl's wild magic is like a ticking time bomb. Sooner or later, the wrong person is going to get burnt.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my post. As the title says, I am looking for some Rp for my Garlean character Liocyon. I'm pretty open to most storylines from light-hearted to gritty. OOC I am pretty easy going, I feel I can get along with most people so please don't be afraid to talk to me Now! onto my character! Liocyon Aurelius: Age: 19 Sex: Male Race: Garlean Pureblood Likes: Magitek, Medicine, Cooking and Acting Despite his feminine appearance, Lio is a male and considers himself male. An engineer at heart, Lio spent the majority of his life cooped up in his Families estate due to his father's insistence and as such was very naïve when he ran away and defected to Eorzea. Since leaving the Empire he has grown as a person and finds the actions of his country to be monstrous but finding himself unable to fight against his own countrymen. He turned instead to Magitek as a means to provide some effort to the War but life took him in a different direction and instead he got caught up in the life of an Actor while also doing what he can to aid the people of Eorzea. Lio is a soft hearted man and hates to see anyone suffer and uses his medical knowledge to help who he can regardless of their nationality or lack of payment. This soft hearted nature has also made him a hopeless romantic and easily flustered or embarrassed when having his appearance complimented. These days he can be found people watching at the Quicksand if he is not off training or building something in his workshop. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): I'm something of a mixed bag; I am always in character until someone else isn't, but the kind of roleplay I'm looking for is social interaction: like-minded conversation with other Disciples, talking about current events and how they impact the adventurer's life in Eorzea and beyond. I'm interested in deep immersion, but of the ale, bread, and cheese kind rather than the apocalyptic events kind. Views on RP combat and injuries: I try to keep my violence aimed exclusively at NPCs. If a conflict between one of my characters and yours ever rises to combat, I'd prefer to write it out. Views on IC romance: I'm not looking, but if it occurs organically, that's part of the adventuring life, too. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): I'm generally of the view that PCs are welcome to be a Warrior of Light, but not the Warrior of Light. If you care enough to disagree, that's cool, maybe we shouldn't hang out. Views on lore: I try to stay within the bounds of canon, but I do consider that canon to include the entirety of the Final Fantasy series, as the designers of the game seem to. Epsilon (and a lot of other folks) own a replica of a flying car manufactured in Lucis. My style is to avoid cognitive dissonance whenever possible, and it is easier to accept that all the white mages running around are actually white mages, or that the First is accessible to anyone with the aether to spend, than it is to cling to quest text and deny in-game reality. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I'm always IC in public channels, and I tend to assume /whispers are also IC unless they are explicitly not. The Shroud: Lives in Lavender Beds, 14th ward, plot 10 with a Duskwight. Wanders the Shroud and visits the Gridanian market once a week for basic supplies like paper and ink. Those who have lived in the Shroud would likely have traded with her clan on occasion. They have a reputation for poaching and traveling to various places that the twin adders attempt to bar from outsiders. The clan also engages in trade with some of the remaining Duskwight pockets when they venture to the surface. Assuming the clan is not in the deep shroud during those excursions. Overseas: Occasionally seen around Shirogane and Kugane, or the surrounding areas. Most often in search of myths, information, or reagents.
