I have not posted here in sometime not because we are inactive but because we are extremely active. We literally have fifty active memberships, with three to four events going on weekly that range from Research, Training, Non-Combat to Combat oriented events. We are always keeping our door open as we know closing it wont benefit us and wont benefit others we may miss our chance getting to know. 

 

We are also taking 1 week off from our main story to focus on small stories and will start our 10th Book (Series of Events for our Main Story) sometime next week. Anyways feel free to add Ryslo Suramlo in game or check out our website @ knightsofeorzea.com

We updated our Front Page here on HRC. We will be under-going a restructure which will mean we will be expanding into two types of RP. Adventurer (which we already do) and the Tavern / Chapel (New)

 

We want to give people two options to RP with us as well as help build a living breathing world for our members as well as any FC that would engage us or anyone outside our FC that is. I'll be posting more about our Tavern shortly but.. I figured for now I'll post about our Adventurer Side of things plus provide our latest video as a reference to our storytelling!

About our Adventurer's Path

A N - O V E R V I E W

The Knights of Eorzea's Adventurer's Path hopes to lead our members on a epic journey that expands chapters and books which are establishing our communities general lore and our full engagement to the world at large. The focus for the Adventurer's of the Knights of Eorzea will be taking on tasks other's do not. Mostly working with individuals who are forgotten or lost to the system of law's that have been established in Eorzea and generally the world. An example of this is helping out a group of refugee's simply trying to survive by showing them how to hunt, providing basic supplies, fighting off those who would poach off them and so-forth. The Knights will be taking on tasks that are small and sometimes large. It really depends on how each event is played out which determines the course of KOE's FC Lore. No worries! We are not the warrior of light so we will not be fighting primals or Ascians.

T h e - R a n k s

 

RECRUIT Trial Period ]

Recruit is the starting rank for all new members who Join our Adventurer's Path. The rank itself is not a reflection of your character's personal skill level rather it is our simple way of saying your new to our Free Company and we'd love for you to give us a chance, while we give you a chance in return. You are only a Recruit for a Maximum of Two Weeks before you will be asked whether or not you'd like to continue on with us which if you say 'Yes' you will be elevated to the rank of Squire. All Recruits Start at Level 2 in our RP System.

 

SQUIRE Full Member Period ]

Squire now that you are a full member you may want to go ahead and purchase a free company room now that you know your stay within the Free Company is guaranteed (as long as you wish it to be). You are only a Squire for so long and typically to be elevated to the rank of Knight you will have to have been with KOE for about 4 weeks, Participation and what not may decrease the time required to rank. All Squires start at Level 5 in our RP System.

 

KNIGHT Veteran Member Period ]

Knight rank means you have served along members of KOE for atleast a full Moon, perhaps even longer or shorter depending on your participation in Combat Oriented Events or a Mixture between Combat and Social. A Knight also can now act as Assistant GM's and provide aid in our large Story Driven Events. Knights also will be given tasks for our Social Events from time to time and may even be asked to escort a guest home, or take on smaller tasks we are given in the form of bills. You are a Knight for about 2 to 3 Months, Time varies if you are super active or not as active as you'd like. All Knights start at Level 8 in our RP System. All Knights can assist Ryslo Surmalo during the Major Story Event if asked.

 

HIGH KNIGHT Game Master I ]

[align=justify]High Knights are those within the Free Company that can assist Ryslo in our Main Story Event as well as take on Bills (Requests) from other Free Companies to host smaller events or to take a few of our adventurer's and do something cooperatively with them. Basically a High Knight is someone who has demonstrated a level of trust so high that they can represent us directly with other free companies. You are a High Knight for about 3 to 5 Months, Time varies if you are super active or not as active as you'd like. All High Knights start at Level 11 in our RP System. All Knights can assist Ryslo Surmalo during the Major Story Event if asked and will be able to take on Bills offered by other Free Companies that have been proper vetted through the FC Leader. They can also request hosting an RP event within the FC company too.

KNIGHT CAPTAIN Game Master II ]

Knight Captain is essentially responsible for hosting any of the following types of events: Training Events, Research Events, Hunting Events, even small 3 event story arcs that can just help build up some suspense in everyone's day to day. They also are responsible for all previous ranks roles.They can also be assigned as an Officer with Administrative Responsibilities.This is the Second Highest Rank Achievable via the Adventurer's Path. It is a Administrator Role and Starts at LV 13.

 

KNIGHT COMMANDER Game Master III ]

Knight Commander is literally the man or women in charge of the Adventurer Portion of KOE. They only report to Ryslo Suramlo the FC Leader, and are responsible for numerous things: Helping with the Main Story Quest, Recruitment, Interviews, Administration via Discord, Administration Via the Free Company, Can Host Solo Events (PVE or RP), Can tag along with Ryslo to other FC meetups, and should have a meeting with all High Knights and Knight Captains to recieve feedback, ideas and planning atleast once a month. This is the Highest Rank Achievable via the Adventurer's Path. It is a Administrator Role and Starts at LV 15.

The Knights of Eorzea is now opening up recruitment for our Tavern. If your character doesn't fit our combat model perhaps you'll fit our Tavern model. We plan on hosting weekly events once the Tavern is staffed and we plan to run thse events along side our story events that do at times involve combat, supply runs ect., We now have two paths for people to choose from as we understand the importance of RP and giving as many avenue's as we can for it.

 

About our Tavern Path

A N - O V E R V I E W

The Knights of Eorzea's Tavern Path is to allow access to our Free Company to those who are interested in combat but would prefer to assist the Knights in another dimension. Seeing how the Knight's require funding to continue their good work abroad the Tavern is established to create revenue all while trying to build bridges as well to those outside of the Knight's Order. Entertainment would be provided, Services like waiter's and bar tending required, even a Host(ess) and Bouncer roles would be created. Essentially this is to create a unique social place among our free company that will be open to the public at large once a week. Instead of ranks the below is a list of Jobs we will need to fill (It is important to know that company wise the below jobs still get 'Recruit' 'Squire' and 'Knight' tags just to demonstrate a person's longevity. They will however, not grow beyond the rank of Knight unless they are also involved in the Adventurer Portion of our Community.)[/align]

 

Manager [ Social Officer ]

 

Manager basically person who is in charge of the Bar and Social aspects of our community. They too only report to Ryslo Suramlo the Free Company leader and are responsible as an officer to ensure Quality content is being delivered. Once a month they are responsible for having meetings with all Tavern Employee's, responsible for giving tasks icly and making sure to keep up the good face of the entire Order as people are engaged from outside the Free Company. They also keep an active roster of all their employee's, updates a menu, and organizes the weekly Open House.

 

Bar Tender [ Social Position ]

 

[align=justify]Bar Tender this person tends to the bar. Mixing the drinks,

engaging people in conversation. A real social position in the Tavern. Like to tell stories? Enjoy listening to people? Like to give detailed emotes about the drinks your serving? This is a great place to be right at the center of the Bar's Attention.[/align]

 

Waiter/Waitress [ Social Position ]

 

Waiter/Waitress they are the ones that go out to the tables and take note of people's personal orders and then delivers the order to the corresponding tables after getting them at the bar or engaging the cook. Its important to remember every single order and if your the type of person that plays a friendly character thats engaging, cheerful and concise this would be the best position for you!

 

Entertainer [ Social Position ]

 

Entertainer good with the 'perform' action or good at telling stories? Like being in the spotlight? Then being an entertainer may be perfect for you! Musicians, Dancers, Storytellers are all welcomed. A small disclaimer that the dancers are not exotic, they simply entertain through performance alone.

 

Host [ Social Position ]

 

Host's greet people at the door, direct them to where the bar is, and field general questions. Introductions are always best! Once it seems most people have arrived the host can walk around the house talking to people that seem ignored and giving them a more cheerful engagement. This is a great role for people who arn't shy and really love rp at its core as it'll require you to be out going enough to head to that person in the corner and making them feel noticed. After all this is one of the tenants of the Order, To notice those not noticed!

The Knights would spend time loading their Airship with various supplies for their long and extended stay in the territory of Dravania. They would load the ship with Food Stock (Water too), Medical Supplies, Spare Parts for the Engine and weapons, as well as Ammunition just incase they found themselves in a pinch the last time they utilized the Dauntless Requiem. The ship would take to the skies and cut the darkness guided by the pallid light of the moon. The entire night was consumed by the travel and unloading of the ship. They would sleep until the next day where they would organize their supplies and gather those they could to venture out from Tail Feather to explore some. It was important that the Knights obtained a grasp of the general area around them (Some of the knights never being this far out),

 

The two groups would split up. One proceeded east, while the other proceeded north. The reason for the smaller teams was very simple; Ryslo wanted people to get familiar with those they really haven't had a chance to get to know. A few caves had been discovered by both groups, a ruin by the northern group as well as a source of fresh water. The eastern group found some locations of a few wild chocobo's too which may come in handy later on. Over all the day was spent well as the groups discovered things which would make working in the region easier moving forward.

 

We are Also Recruiting for our Tavern! Remember we now have Social Ranks that need to be filled. We would love to start hosting Social Events weekly that will be recorded and eventually will host special events with prizes and what not down the road! We are always recruiting for Adventurers![/align]

We are seeking Staff for our Tavern That includes someone to manage the Tavern and essentially become the officer of our small chapter within our Free Company. We are not deviating from our Adventurer Motif but simply adding a layer to our company which we hope will allow us to invite others weekly to engage our current members while also creating a social space for people to come to regularly.

 

We need a Manager, A few barkeeps, a couple cooks, waiters (waitresses), Host (hostess) and a bouncer or two. If your interested PLEASE contact me here or in game (I'll be on after 4pm Eastern Time today and tomorrow) and I would love to work out a few of the details!

 

Also we always recruiting adventurer's! We've been hosting events since December 2016, and we'll continue to do so for a very long time. We are NOT going anywhere.

We will be discussing our plans for the interior today as well as our plans for the Tavern / Social Element we plan to bring to the server. With this goal (large one as it was) out of the way we will be able to do a great deal more then we ever could in a small house and super excited to do so!

Even though we are tirelessly working on our new housing plot and trying to prepare for our Server Efforts to go live, we are still holding adventure nights and still digging into building our FC's story and furthering character development.

[align=center]BOOK X - Chapter Two: The Hunt.

[align=justify]The Knights finally started their tasks in Dravania, their first securing a prize source of meat to be presented to the dragons west of Tail Feather. Why? To establish a means to greet them as friends (as their employers the Ishgardians are a people set of customs and rituals which may be strange to others). Securing the meat would serve as the gift as the guest to the host and hopefully allow engagements with the lesser Dragons. Why go to these lengths? To help keep the peace of course. While all eyes are eastward, Isghardians still must secure their own boarders and thus the involvement of the Knights as a intermediate force with no ties to Isghard or the Dragons. So small tasks must be done to court a friendship.

 

So they went on a hunt for the Rare White Aevis, The Ghost of the Forests Wraith as the Hunters have named it. They marched on the back of their chocobos until they were forced to dismount. A trap would be set, scouts would be organized and bait was created. The White Aevis showed up and immediately engaged those who walked within its territory. It was a healthy contest of strength but ultimately the outnumbered White Aevis would succumb to its wounds and the Knights achieved their goal. Eliminating not only the prize that would be given as a greeting but a threat to the Hunters of the region.[/align]
