Well Kurt would probably want 2 kids...maybe 3. No preference on gender either but I'm not sure if he's fit to be a dad. Why? Well whenever he's with the Vorgan daughter he's more like her older brother from another mother. Not really sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing, I know for sure he'd be playing around with his kids, channeling his inner child at times >.> yeah...

Oh man because like.. I can't help but be all...

LALAQO'TE.

Not gonna lie, if this was in the game I would absolutely have rolled as one.

The strengths of both rolled up into one mega-cute-cutey-cute super hybrid race? Yeah, I wouldn't stand a chance. Fantasia'd in an INSTANT.

please excuse my leg to body ratio o.o;
An interesting question I've never considered. Asider from the obvious problem of her ignorance of love and so on, there are many factors to why this would be a poor choice, but were Virara to have a child, she/he would probably be a great Mage for various reasons. Her strength is not communicable so that's one dreadful hazard she avoids. I can see her being an aloof and cold parent who has much trouble communicating with her child, but looks out for them in all things, assuming she doesn't die in battle or something else happens to her first. In training her child, it's likely her methods would be so draconian as to seem cruel, like her own upbringing, so this woud be best left to her spouse. She possesses a deeply ingrained capacity for love, though it is hidden even from herself, so she could be a good mother, just a very flawed one. Her child would either grow to resent her or be overly dependent upon her.
Kino is pregnant!

First child is most likely going to be a girl. She's not wanna go through pregnancy again unless her husband REALLY pushes it, because being so idle has her miserable.

Kestrael will steal all of your Lalaqo'te's! I can't help but imagine them as sort of like the Munchkin cats.

Kest would eventually like a family. At least two, preferably one of each. She has to find the right Roe guy though cause if she came home with a Highlander or a Miqo'te her mother would kill her. Dead. Then serve the widower a nice cup of coffee over her cooling corpse.
Ignoring the hurdles of her non-hetero sexuality and battlefield lifestyle, V'aleera would want to have a lot of children. Like, 6 to 10. Partly because growing up as a single child was lonely, and partly because Ishgard likely has a fairly high mortality rate for its fighting age kids and you really need to hedge your bets if you want to have any children left when you're in your old age.
Lili has three biological children: Khavan (20) is her oldest son, then the twins Sara and Deisara (18). Then two adopted: Adokenai (5 going on 6) and Mikh'a (almost 2).

They are her pride and joys and reasons for living <3

Her and Locke have talked about children, and we both squee over the idea of little blonde fluffy haired Rinananas running around @_@
C'kayah, perhaps surprisingly, loves kids and is really good with them. He has none (absolutely none! He pays a very good alchemist very large sums of money to ensure that this is the case) currently, and no plans for any in the near future. I'm not going to lie, though, and say it's not been discussed...
Coatleque's secret desire is to retire as a house wife and raise a family. She doesn't care how many, or what gender. She only wants to be like her mother.
Ophelie had a son, but he passed away after three months due to illness. She loved her son dearly and was quite devastated when he passed, at that point in her life he was the only thing that brought her joy. She would love to have another child but she's a courtesan and her situation isn't exactly stable enough to raise a child.

T'khai has at least two daughters, the eldest being less than a year old. He loves his girls and he spoiled them rotten by making them clothes, blankets an dolls in his spare time. He would go to the ends on the earth to make sure they were safe. Right now they're missing, along with one of his mates and he's still searching for them.
Cylin... Would honestly be a good mother, possibly bordering on being extremely overprotective as well. Though there is no compelling desire for her to settle down and have children, if such a 'happy little accident' were to happen she'd simply roll with the punches and try to do right by them.

Enla... Honestly I'd worry about any children she had... She wouldn't be abusive or cruel, but she's also very much of the opinion that her personal freedom is sacred and I don't believe she'd react overly well to being tied down for twenty or so years with a being who cannot fend for themselves. Marriage? Sure! So long as her partner keeps up with her and doesn't try to impose unreasonable restrictions on how she lives her life she's more than fine with the concept. Children...? Eerrr... Might have issues there. That and they'd probably turn into buckets of snark, and the world doesn't need any more of that. Undecided

Theula'sae. No, just no. Do not pass go, do not collect two hundred dollars. Full stop, both his and my answer to this question is a flat NO. No to being able to take care of them. No to wanting them. No to everything to do with little defenseless beings. He would however make a decent uncle, though even then I'd have to stress the word 'decent' a fair ways to make it as such.
Well, I have Althena and she has a stepson and she has a daughter at one year of age. She makes a good mother balancing that with her studies with her husband on anything aether.

Then there is T'shina who is my main. Now, she wants kids and is really good with them. Her mate wants many children which Miqo'te are bound to have lots of girls. But she has a hard time getting pregnant and I made this so because of not wanting to play out a pregnancy and dependency at the moment. However, it could be a thing. But with her adopted brothers having kids right now she's thinking she's broke!
Oh that's just cruel for poor Shashato, considering she can't have children, heh. Though parenthood is one of her aspirations, if not to teach! Oddly enough I can see her being the oddball type of parent. Very proactive, perhaps trying a little too hard, confident that her children can learn to stand up to themselves - what better way then sending them on constant dangerous errands?

That aside I can see her wanting to spend a lot of time teaching them to be smart enough to stay ahead in the world, whilst keeping things proactive.

TThat and she'd make the weirdest breakfast omelettes.
I could see Chachan having... a bunch of kids, actually. He'd probably be that "cool dad" that plays with their kids a bunch and is frowned at and tut-tutted by the "srs" parents who think you're not supposed to be friends with your children. He'd certainly pass on the family's smithing, for respect for his father if nothing else, but would most likely not be as strict about it as his pops was.

... Or just have them learn from ol' Grandpa Zozonji if they want to learn it right. In fact, I could see his parents imposing a bit on the kiddies to ensure the Gegenji heritage continues. Sad
Literally not having a clue what my char wishes in that regard. Think finding a suitable partner is something what will take a long while!

And on OOC level, having another char in another game with three pregnancies roleplayed out, and thus three children, I got my hands full with her already in that regard. She's my stay at home mum. Whereas my elezen is out doing her thing for Ishgard. So nope, no babies in the foreseeable future!
