Kage posted this on the 2.51 release date thread but this deserved separate highlighting. Those three outfits (two Ul'dahn, one Lominsan) have been seen on NPCs in their respective city-states but have thus far been unavailable.

From the nature of this screenshot (mixing matching races with city-states), can we expect them to be dropped in 2.51?!

If so, YESSS. I've been waiting for this for ages! RPing my Ambigiously Brown Arab/Persian/whichever will be complete! You guys aren't allowed to wear it if you're not full-blooded Ul'dahn!


EDIT: Also, I believe Gridanian clothing is also included, on the left. Just one outfit, and Gridanian fashion is pretty straightforward enough a lot of the outfits in-game already fit the culture (like the tunic mesh)

Finally, a mix between looking like a farmer in my kurta and looking all dressed up. I JUST WANT CASUAL, COMFORTABLE CLOTHES.

When I decided to retire Kage for a bit and stop RPing for my own mental state, he was headed in a direction that I was happy with him taking more of a merchant role.

If I can acquire these..

But anyway, I'm glad we're getting the nice NPC casual clothing, I've been wanting to dress Berrod in some sort of town clothes for AGES.

I just hope it's easy enough to obtain....

More casual attire is always a good thing, especially for those of us playing characters that don't adopt a direct combat role. I'll be sure to make it a point to acquire each new set, you never know what mixing, matching and dyeing can do when combing new sets with older pieces of gear!

This is why I can't unsub ever. My Final Fantasy Barbie needs are stronger than ever, hnnNGH.

Also, actually Gridanian as well. Elezen on the left, I think it's a Gridanian NPC outfit.

I will legit cry if that's the case... I just want some pretty casual clothes Squeenix, please don't dangle them in front of me and then put them behind an absurd progression bar.

Don't quote me on this, but they said they want the Gold Saucer gear to be accessible for all levels, and not only a thing for our gil millionaire overlords. Believe you don't even have to be 50, or finished the main story quest line. (Just can't find the source currently!)

Looks like quite a lot of new outfits are on the way on Tuesday, along with Setzer and bunnies!

I've wanted that Lominsan shirt/vest with the billowy sleeves for a long time now.

Those all look fantastic.
