This is my first thread RP within here so.. Be gentle if you can ^-^'' This is open to anyone until stated otherwise. Even if you want to just ICly poke your head in, feel free! Don't be shy to just come on in! There will be times where a sound may be made or a shadow is seen, allowing others to use that to their advantage! They could have either made the sound themselves or it could just be things tripping up the character! Either way, please have fun ^-^

Deep within Ul'dah, tucked into a corner rested the Thaumaturge Guild, home of the Dark Arts study and those who practice the magick. Some venture far and wide to simply read the tomes, others come to enhance their abilities. It isn't everyday that one sees a new face within these walls and those that do come here are ones to keep to themselves.
However, today wasn't like the usual days. Not too long ago did a young Hyur woman step within the hallowed halls of the Guild. When she questioned the receptionist if she could search their books, the man glanced over her quickly. He didn't expect to see someone like this woman to be here yet he gave her a nod and gestured her to continue. The young woman bowed her head and gave him a rather thankful yet hopeless smile. He watched her walk away carefully, pondering to himself.
The young woman was short and lithe with deep crimson hair and ivory skin. She wore a hempen top which was in a deep violet color and shorts that had straps connecting them to the longer leg piece. She wore a shy smile on her face as she passed the others yet they were too engrossed in their books and studies to pay attention to her as she made her way in the back of the Guild, gathering a few books on her way there.
Once she found a place to sit, she let out a heavy sigh, plopping into the seat. Bright sea green orbs looked down to the books she gathered, which were all at the stage of a novice.
"How am I to learn from books.. Wouldn't learning from someone be much better of a choice..?" She thought to herself then slowly glanced around the area yet quickly shook her head, scolding herself."No, they have been learning much longer than me. They probably started the same way I am right now. No need to get too ahead of myself." She'd wave her hand, smiling.
She raised her hand to rest on the top book of her pile, only to take a closer look; She was missing one. Her brows furrowed as she looked up to the many shelves that housed the books, slowly rising to her feet. She looked high and low before finally finding the missing tome which resided on the top shelf. She was about to snag her chair before she found a proper stepping stool, quietly moving it in front of her.
This book was a special one to catch her eye; It was the first volume about creatures from the Void. She stretched her arm up but it was out of reach. She rested her hand on the shelf to try and hoist herself up higher, moving to stand on her toes. Her fingers grazed the spine of the book yet she didn't have it just yet.
She'd let out a huff in annoyance but wouldn't admit defeat yet! She bent her knees ever so slightly before she jumped up, snatching the book!
...And also tugged out a few other books, leaving her to fall back onto the ground, flat on her rump as the sound of books, and her body, echoed through the halls. The book she wanted fell open on her face as she was laid on the ground.
"Maybe.. I should have.. Used the chair.." She stated quietly in a dizzy sigh, unable to sit up just yet.
