So I starting having some roleplay and I established some facts about Yhisa, but I'd like to be able to weave them into a more lore approrpiete manner.

Yhisa's illness

Yhisa awoke  after calaminty, She remembers little before that.
The Fires of Bahamut's megaflare left her alive somehow.

A still usable linkshell was her salvation, she found it on  a body, and managed to use it.

People scavanging the scorched earth or perhaps searching for fallen  compatriots found her, mostly singed and injured she spent the past 5 years getting back on her feet literally.

After Calaminity she was whisked to Gridania, mostly because of  the severity of her injuries which included
- Symptoms akin to a stroke ( she spent two whole years learning to speak, read and write again, not to mention getting walking under control, after worst of her illness had passed).

-She dedicated herself to being a Conjuror, mostly to thank and help the people of Gridania who helped her , even if and when they had so little.

I do have plans for Yhisa,  but I am trying to work it into lore appropriete spins.  Yhisa may or may not be older than she seems. She's currently in her early 20s.

Having spent he last five years in Gridania.

Before that its a mystery, even to herself 9for now)

Idea wise: I think she may have been either sealed  away somewhere, almost literally out of time.

Much of the issues listed above maybe due to the  supposed stroke like syptoms, or because she didn't know  modern Eorzean.

If anyone has suggestions or ideas I'd love to heard them .

I appologise for the scattered  thoughts. it happened while I was RPing so I thought I'd put them down.
I'd say most of that checks out with lore stuff just fine.

If she was hit by Bahamut's megaflare, was she at the Battle of Carteneau?

Perhaps she could be someone who didn't quite make it all the way through Louisoix' teleportation of who would be considered "1.0 Warriors of Light" (different from the term used in 2.0).
Its plausible. I thought she might have been,  entombed somewhere, and the blast literally broke her out of her entomb meant. And those who discovered her figured they'd found a (1.0 Warrior of Light/Battle of Cartenau) Survivor, and thought nothing of her strangeness.. she'd just been through the death of world (and lived to tell the tale) that'd induce  weird symptoms in most beings.

I had thoughts that she might be literally from another Era, someone's last ditch effort to preserve  something.

I sort of get this image of her as a little girl perhaps of servant stock, and so not thought too... highly of, and used as a catalyst.  Right now the past is a blank, but since we don't know too much about Prior eras.. I think it works.

Unless there is some massive lore book on prior eras that I've missed.

Sounds very much like something the ancient Allagans would've done, or well actually did do. The region of Mor Dhona was at the heart of the Allagan Empire, favoring the land for its infinite power and aether. In their civilization's prime, they constructed a gigantic crystal tower to collect sun rays (and eventually energy from Dalamud) and conduct it throughout the world as a source of free-energy for all their peoples. Eventually that same tower would bring about ancient Allag's demise and shake the very foundations of the world, burying that civilization beneath malms of rock. This brought on the 4th Umbral Era, and it has been about 5,000 years since Allag's fall.

So far as we know, not many people have taken to living in the Mor Dhona region since the Allagans but it's entirely possible that some ancient civilization would spring up there. But given how the whole awakening during the Calamity thing falls perfectly in line with the Crystal Tower lore and storyline, it would be a good fit, I think. Up to you though! ^^
Sounsy, tell me MORE... or should I  just play through the MSQ, and  the Crystal Tower stuff?

But I like this it ties in with the lore.

So maybe she's an Allagesian Miqo'te (or fantasia'd into one as a small child).

Help me Sounsyy you are my only HOPE!

You'll find some really cool stuff out about the allagans in the crystal tower story sequences.

Lots of fun lore tidbits EVERYWHERE in MSQ~ Smile
There's a lot of good stuff in Coil and Crystal Tower, so I'd definitely recommend trying at least Crystal Tower story. ^^

The very general Allagan lore is that their civilization existed over 5,000 years ago during the 3rd Astral Era and expanded across the entire known world. The Allag Empire achieved mastery over magic, technology, science, and medicine. They created the Magitek that the Garleans have now re-engineered. They also invented cloning, space ships, biological and chemical weapons, and robot (clockwork) soldiers and war machines. They were also the inventors of the summoning art.

If you want some more details or spoiler-y Allagan things, lemme know and I'll send you a message Yhisa! ^^
Well I know which stories to focus on post MSQ .
