Hello everyone!

Since joining up on the RPC a few days ago, I decided to take advantage of the wiki feature and really dove in to working on a page for my character, Temariah Dawnsong. I borrowed a lot from Barnabaix' format, and a bit from Umi Kanzato's, and I think I've got it just about how I want it to look... except...

I'd like to get rid of the table of contents at the top. I asked my CS major boyfriend.. and he would have to pick apart the special Laninfobox in order to help, so I figured I'd see if anyone who was more familiar with this would pipe up!

Please let me know how to manipulate the page to remove the table of contents!!

If anyone has any other constructive criticism for my wiki page or character, I'm always willing to listen, and generally love feedback. Thanks in advance!!
Throw a _NOTOC_ in there somewhere, iirc. That should do it!

Did not seem to work. I tried putting it within the { } of the infobox and without, also tried different parts within the { }
Just at the very top of the text box, before any of the other text. So when you open up the editor, the very first thing you should see is:

PHP Code:
__NOTOC__
Hello this is a wiki page
LOOK an info box
h a i l l a l a

Success!! \o/

Looks like it just needed two underscores, not one!! Thanks for such fast responses, both of you. <3
/em quietly also steals this advice.
Hail Lala.
So umm... since people seem to know things about wikis 'n stuff... can I ask another question? Google seems to have failed me on this as well!!

I want to alter the info box, like give it a different color or theme besides the Gridania one. I like having the quick stats there, but it's so... yellow... Bleargh.
It's giving you the Gridania colors because you set your citizenship to Gridania. Not really super sure if there's a way to manually adjust those colors, I'm afraid. Sad

EDIT: Yeah it might require some fiddling around with the source thing, since it is a template provided by the lovely L'aenoh. Here is the page for it. If you click 'Edit' you can see all the different options available there. Remember not to actually edit that page, though - you can adjust the values on your own page by changing your citizenship value.

Or if anyone knows any better please feel free to pipe in. I could be wrong!
I could work something out so you just have to type in the color code on the template itself without editing any code. I'll work on it either tonight or tomorrow and will reply to this thread when it's done.

Was there something in particular you were looking to change or was it the whole thing?

Also, do people want me to remove tying in the citizenship with color schemes? I could do that also.

Edit: Oh wow I totally forgot I never even finished Gridania colors. WHOOPS.

I personally think it'd be cool if we could use the city-state emblem somewhere if we wanted, but maybe with the option to use our own colors for a bit more customization? My character very much is a Gridanian, in culture and race, so I'd like to represent that for other players to see. I just... don't like the yellow. ^^

And thanks for the tip! I'll look at the page linked and see if I can tweak it.

Updated with the new template. If you had one already you'll need to add in the new lines and color codes for them.
