In the square of the Moraby Docks, pilgrims gathered out in the spring rain. Though raining, the wind was calm, bringing down soft raindrops on the people as they showed up either alone on in groups. Some got caught out on the dirt roads, slipping and having mud stains on their clothes. But as dock's bells rang out to signal the hour, little bells also chimed.

Jancis Milburga rings a bell over her head. "Welcome! Welcome pilgrims!"
"Ah, it's startin'!" "Ah!"

"It is with warm heart and high spirits that I greet you all this night!"

"Nymeia can mean many things to us. Some see Her ahead of them as a guide, some beside them like a partner, others behind as watchful eyes."

"Being here and finishing this pilgrimage together, pray reflect upon those who have given you guidance in life. Where your steps had led you and to them."

Cliodhna glances up at the rain, thankful for the cloth over the woven basket she was carrying. Solis watches Jancis with the bandanna on his head protecting his hair from the rain. Eva looks around at the gathered masses, giving a slow nod of her head and exhales, her fingers drumming absently against the robes at her legs.

Jancis rings the bell over her head, heralding the start of the pilgrimage.
"O' course, lass, I'll tell her ye said so. We'll be leavin'...ah, now!" "Hoo! Looks like I made it just in time!" O'jirho keeps his ears perked as he scouts. "You both are very ceremonial, Lords. Thank you"

"Remember upon the conduct of each depends the fate of all."
"Actions are the seed of fate deeds grow into destiny."
"I do not believe in a fate that falls on men however they act; but I do believe in a fate that falls on them unless they act."
"Accept the things to which fate binds you, and love the people with whom fate brings you together, but do so with all your heart."
“There is nowhere you can be that is not where you are meant to be...”

O'jirho seems to stumble a bit on the cliff. Other pilgrims follow suit, holding hands and bracing other more delicate companions, the guards watching over their steps on the grassy sea slope. "Toh!" "Wet ground!" Reima takes a slow step alongside Ember, peering up sheepishly.

Jancis encourages everyone to make themselves comfortable, ringing the bell lighter as a chime. "Pray sit and relax, pilgrims. There are hats if you are in need." Leanne adjusts her hat. She had hers right there as always. Solis examines the Spinner's stone. "I'm ok with my bandana here!" Arrelaine eyes Gwannes' hat warily, making sure she's a bit off to the side of the water spout from it. Not like it matters much since they're already wet.

"I should have brought another of these hats for you, love." " Not nearly as bad, as a sea storm...I'll live dear." "I hear the wet look is in this season anyroad.."

"We have quite the crowd, again! So many delightful people in one place."

"It is all very good to be here upon the coast in the presence of the Spinner's Stone as we celebrate what we have done with our fate, the way we have guided one another, and most importantly how we choose to react and respond with what fate has given us. Today heralds times that were not free and we worked hard to earn."

As she speaks, a guitar player comes up and prepares, playing a soft background music to the sea. Their pilgrimage a success, the celebration of the Spinner began!

"I would like to welcome up now Lady Ciel, who has prepared a song to start off our celebration to Nymeia."

Jonathan calmly clasped Ciel Sauveterre's hand for the time he could.

"As we well know, Nymeia is the Spinner, the keeper of fate. She, alone, knows the paths which lie before us when our own eyes haven't revealed what comes next."

"Oft in life, we think we know what we want. Where we're going. To whom we shall be bound and have in our company for our entire lives. Seldom do these plans ever go as we want."

"And then, sometimes, she blesses us.  She finds who and what we need most and brings them to our side as others move on their own paths..."

Ciel readies her harp and strums at the strings lifting her voice.

"I am very honored to once again welcome a true priestess. Devote of Nymeia and kind enough to give us her time and her words this day. Lady Eva you have all of our ears and attention."

Eva Zelorius advances to the boulder, pressing her hand to it, then to her forehead, lips, ear, and chest each in turn.  A ritual of some sort.  She then turns to face the people, looking around for several seconds and then takes a deep breath.

"I come to speak a parable of the Spinner... mine own matron deity and the one whom speaks to me the most clearly..  It has been told in many ways but this is how I have heard it told..."

Eva bows her head then speaks slowly, "A child sat at the foot of his grandmother's rocking chair as she worked her embroidery.  He was full of energy and questions, having just returned from his play time..."

"The woman was elderly and well underway in a project she had been working on for many evenings.  And he had watched her but something this very evening prompted him to ask.  'What is it that you are doing, Grandmother?'  And she smiles and patted the boy's face gently and told him that she was making something beautiful for him."

"The next day, he noted as he played with his blocks beneath her rocking chair that several threads and yarns dangled haphazardly from the underside of the hoop she held in her hands, and he asked again, 'What are you making?'"

"Again, she replied that she was making something beautiful for him.  Dubious, he reached up and touched one of the strings that dangled beneath.  'It doesn't look very beautiful, Gramma!' he remarked.  The elder woman only smiled at his curiosity and inquisitiveness."

"The third afternoon, the young lad came in from playing and sat beneath his grandmother's rocking chair.  There were even more yarns and knots and the underside of the hoop was a mess of threads, many cut short, others tied off and knotted.  'Grandmother,' he spoke up, 'that doesn't look beautiful at all.  It looks quite ugly!'  The elder woman only smiled."

"My precious, precious child...  it is done.  And it is yours to cherish.  But you are gazing upon the thing from the wrong direction.'  And with that she lifted him upon her knee so that she might see the tapestry she had been working on.  A beautiful sunset over the fields and oceans and forests.  A thousand thousand colours splayed out before the pair.  And it was beautiful."

Eva pauses for a moment, then gives a nod of her head before continuing, "Too often it is easy to complain about life, or about things not being the way we would like.  For we are like that child, looking upon something similar that has been woven - for us - and not recognize the true beauty of it simply because of perspective."

"What I would challenge each of you to do this sun, and each sun thereafter... is to find the beauty in Nymeia's ever-woven tapestry, even in the places where it may appear marred or ugly.  Alas, none know better than I that threads must be knotted or cut sometimes... but there is a beauty in Her pattern, if we choose to perceive it.."

"Thank you for bringing all of these colorful threads to this place in Her pattern this eve, Miss Jancis.  And thank all of you for bringing vibrance and colour to the tapestry."

Eva smiles warmly, presses her lips to her hand, and then hand to the stone, before she steps away once more.

Smiles also echoed from the pilgrims that listened to her story, growing more vibrant as the story ended, even one obnoxious guard, moping in a bored manner up on the slope started paying attention with interest. The group applauded happily. Eva bows her head modestly before taking her place again.
"Others have stepped forward to share stories that have touched them and inspired  them to share with us all this even. I ask Lady Edda to please step forward and share hers."

Edda Eglantine fidgets nervously. “Th-thank you... Pray forgive me everyone, for I am not much of a speaker, nor storyteller. I would be honored if you all were to listen, to this tale I was told as a young child, about the gifts of the Goddess that watches over us all.” Before starting, she sighs.

“Long ago there lived a trader in Eastern Thanalan. He was simple, well-to-do man that made a humble living traveling to the far reaches of the Shroud to bring back and sell food and supplies that were not so readily available in his hometown. It was a full sun’s journey he made each day as he travelled on foot. Though his feet cried out in protest each night at the end of his route, he was a man of great ambition and not so easily deterred.”

“On his way home one sun, the trader stopped to rest in a flower bed at the edge of the forest. It was there he noticed a large, budding briar rose, and peeking out from the bud was a small spindle of golden yarn. Surely thinking it to be a gift from the Gods, the man removed it from the flower and made his way home. He set the spindle on his nightstand, and that night he had a very strange dream.”

“In his dream the man saw the entirety of a sun stretched out before him, from when he woke, to when he fell asleep. It was a normal sun, and unlike one he had ever had before, and so when he woke from his dream he was very puzzled indeed. Yet as he rose and went about his business, the man found that the events from his dream were exactly as the ones he was now living. Realizing he had seen the future, the man hurried home at once to dream again."

“And so the man would dream the future of the next sun as he slept. It was a wondrous thing to him at first, but he became quick to use his dreams to his advantage – what would sell the most, people and areas to avoid, and so on. He quickly became complacent, and soon there was nothing that could surprise him.”

“Walking home from the Shroud one evening, the man saw a young female trader, whose goods had spilled out of her cart and onto the road. He had not seen himself helping her the night before, and so the man passed her by without a second thought. Seeing this, Nymeia became angry, and as he slept she frayed the end of the woolen spindle, with two distinct strands breaking off.”

“As the trader slept he had not one dream, but two – and both vastly different. But as there are only so many bells in a sun to sleep, each dream was cut short, and the tail end of his route in each dream was absent. He awoke in a fret, unsure of what to do. He became frightened, and in that fear he holed up in his home, unsure of what to do.”

“That night, Nymeia frayed the thread again – now countless strands branching from the end of the yarn. The man saw many dreams that night, and they only lasted until he set his foot out of the door in the morning. As he awoke, he was even more afraid, and could scarcely decide what to eat. He starved himself of sleep that night, to avoid seeing so many dreams.”

“As the night went on and he fought to stay awake, Nymeia appeared before him, taking pity on him. She said nothing as she looked on at the trader, and so he spoke to her, angry: ‘Why have you polluted my dreams so? At first you had shown me my fate without fail, and now you taunt me with false paths!’”

“’I have shown you nothing false, trader,’ Nymeia said. ‘Each dream was true, and no matter how different, they were all your fate. The future is not constant. There are as many paths in your future as there are on the end of a frayed rope. It is your choices that decide your fate – not your dreams.’ Nymeia left him there, and as sleep overcame him, the man no longer dreamt.”

“It was with uncertainty that the man left to work the next sun. He was not sure if Nymeia appearing before him had been from lack of sleep or not. But he set off, and there were many things that day that surprised him. On his way home, he saw the female trader from two suns past, who had fallen on the side of the road. The trader did not spare a second thought. He approached her, and held out his hand.”

Edda gives a nervous, sweeping bow. "Th-that's it! It's an abrupt ending, I know... Thank you for listening!"

"Lady Xenedra, please take the stage and share one of your delightful stories with us all. Shall be happy to hear one of your wonderful fables."

Xenedra Ambreaus nods and waves to the crowd, "Hello, everyone! Are you pleased it's finally Spring? I *certainly* am."
Lottie smiles widely. "Yes m'am!" Ikuri waves. Mikha calls out, "Yes!" Arrelaine smiles and Reima lets up a quiet, laughing cheer.

"I'll try not to bore you with cliche words about how SPring is a new beginning... but that's what my story is about today."
"So I'll get right to that, shall I~?"

There once was a young woman, strong and joyous in body and mind. She was strong because life is hard and what better way to deal with it than to be an immovable rock yourself?

She was joyous because she had found happiness, both through her strength and with a young man who she'd fallen in love with.

The two were slated to marry as soon as the woman finished weaving a tapestry for the region's royalty. It was a huge thing, intricate in pattern and color and it had already taken her half a year to piece together all on her own. There was no one else in the land with quite the hand for weaving that she had. and so it was demanded that she be the only one to touch the work until completion.

And~ she was almost done.

As the days ticked by, the two lovers grew more and more impatient to wed, until they eventually decided they simply couldn't any longer.

With only a few more days' work left on the tapestry, what could the harm be? It was always best to finish a work contentedly rather then hurried, anyway, right? Against the wishes of their Ruler, they set their wedding date and began the preparations.

On the day of their wedding, the woman stood proudly at the alter, swathed in the best and brightest silks of white she could manage with her master weaver's hands.

....But her lover never came.

Time passed, the sun falling lazily toward the horizon and the crowd began to buzz.

Something had to be wrong. He would never stand her up, the two were inseparable. But, then... where could he be? Those gathered for the celebration dispersed to find the missing groom.

The young woman found him first, bloodied and beaten, on her doorstep. He was already gone. No final words. No bright future.

Something in the woman snapped and she rounded the body of her deceased love to enter her home and workshop. Her eyes fell upon the barely unfinished tapestry and she knew who'd done this. Selfish, selfish nobles who'd never known strife.

Well, they'd not have this tribute, and if it cost her her life to take that small joy from them, so be it.

She ripped the tapestry weft from wain, threads filling the corners of the room, tangling around her fingers, arms, her throat. She struggled against the enormous thing to destroy it and free herself from the cutting pain of its grip and the anguish in her heart.

But it wasn't enough.

What was some wall rug throw together by a back-water to the royals? How did laying waste to her work do ANYTHING to make others understand the loneliness.. the EMPTINESS she now felt!?

She sank her knees with a hollow cry, her head falling backward. When she forced her eyes open again she saw her solution blinking back at her.

"The stars. I'll take them. I'll make the very Night's tapestry empty and everyone will know the bleakness that I feel."

And so she began the long, arduous process of lassoing each and every twinkling bit of light in the sky. Tangled in her ruined work as she was, she had no need for rope. She simply pulled each frayed thread from where ever it had made its home and looped it with horrific accuracy around each delicate teardrops of light. A swift tug and each was pulled tight and added the growing army of celestial leashes.

This was to be a grand gesture. They'd all come down at once.

Xenedra nods grimly.

Finally, the last star joined her collection of captors and she gave their lines a tremendous pull, shifting the very heavens. With one, great, frightened voice the stars called out to her:

"Please! We know you are wounded, but don't do this!"

"Why!?" she bellowed back. "Everyone should be made to know this pain!"

And the stars called back, "Everyone does know this pain, child."

One by one, the stars told her of what they'd seen from their vantage. Of the great joys and sorrows of the world and of how she wasn't alone even in her emptiness. Their words stilled her and her lariats slipped from her hands.

"This was a mistake," she intoned hollowly up to the listening stars. "Or could have been, but I think now I know what I was meant to do. I was meant to come and catch you this way, but never to pull you down..."

With each word, her voice grew stronger and her lungs refilled with life. She was no longer empty, brimming now with knowledge instead of joy.

"I accept," she told the stars and they nodded their approval. "I understand life, I have come to understand true misery, and now I understand Fate. I will see to it that people receive what Fate has in store for them, just as I have accepted my own."

She knelt to bid a final farewell to her lover, for she knew that he could hear her now, then bowed her head and was in our realm no longer.

To this day, the spinster woman still wears her veil to remember her lost love, but we don't call her a spinster anymore. Instead, she is The Spinner.

Xenedra bows her head, signalling the end.

Reima lofts a hand, trying to paw discreetly at the moisture in her eyes before applauding. Lottie calls out through the applause, "Lovely!"
"And now I would like to present a song to end the eve. Lady Iskierka, you have all of our ears."

Iskierka Stormspeaker comes forward, I've prepared a song. Now, I'm not any kind of bard. I'm not very good at singing songs, but let's hope the gods value fervor over execution, shall we?

Cliodhna Eoghan Smiles. "I just pass them out, but still they're lovely." Draws a whit and pink one from the basket and hands it over, the fortune reading "Be prepared! You will receive a romantic message from a secret admirer"
Reima Awen 's cheeks turn a vivid red as she stares down at the message in the cookie.  "O-Oh".  She squeaks out.
Cliodhna Eoghan: Good fortune?
Reima Awen clears her throat and tries to laugh off her embarrassment, dropping into another light bow.  "Th-thank you, Lady."
Reima Awen stares down at the cookie thoughtfully, shaking her head with a faint smile.

Reginald Ozrik took a few steps toward Cliodhna and offered each of the women there a polite smile.
Cliodhna Eoghan Turns to Reginald. "Would you like one too?"
Reginald Ozrik: "Please."
Cliodhna Eoghan "Of course," Pulls out a white chocolate dipped cookie containing the following fortune. "Never fear! The end of something marks the start of something new."
Reginald Ozrik took the paper out of the cookie and read it over. "I thank you." He offered a polite smile and bow.
Cliodhna Eoghan Nods. "You're welcome"
Reginald Ozrik managed a bit more restraint, eating his cookie in a few bites.

Cliodhna Eoghan: "I have more if anyone wants a cookie!"
W'reina Yue slowly approaches Cliodhna Eoghan with a shy smile, "m-might I have one of those," she asks softly, glancing down to the basket then back up at the woman.
Cliodhna Eoghan Smiles and hands over a brightly pink dipped cookie, the fortune within reading "A fresh start will put you on your way."
W'reina Yue smiles at her, "thank you," she says before stepping out of the way and reading her fortune.
O'jirho Tia shrugs. "Eh, no problem." He sniffs the air, searching for cookies.
O'jirho Tia doesn't seem to notice the bow even though his eyes are about in the right direction. He goes to hunt for cookies.
O'jirho Tia is also carrying a cane that he uses to navigate his way to the cookies--er, the person HOLDING the cookies.
W'reina Yue munches on her cookie, smiling and looking at the other Miqo'te who had approached.
Cliodhna Eoghan: Did you want one too?
O'jirho Tia: Two, actually. One for my friend, too.
O'jirho Tia lowers his ears as it starts to rain. Again.
Cliodhna Eoghan "Sure thing." Hands over two pink cookies with white sprinkles. "Stop searching forever, happiness is just next to you" "You are a person of another time."
O'jirho Tia takes the cookies and pockets one. He fingers the other cookie without looking at it. "So there's fortunes on these things or something?"
Cliodhna Eoghan Nods. "little scraps of paper in the cookie so break it open first before eating it."
O'jirho Tia: Ah, that's why people were breaking them.
O'jirho Tia breaks the cookie in half, feels for the paper scrap, and holds it up. He sighs, seeming ashamed. "Need you to read it for me," he mumbles.
Cliodhna Eoghan Smiles and takes the paper. "Of course....It says "Stop searching forever, happiness is just next to you."
O'jirho Tia frowns thoughtfully. "... Huh. Well, thanks for the cookie." He pops one half into his mouth and then twitches his ears, listening to the area around him.
Cliodhna Eoghan: Of course.
O'jirho Tia makes his way back up the hill, munching on the cookie.
O'jirho Tia takes his place at his old guard spot and sits in the wet grass. ... Not his smartest idea, if the look on his face has anything to say about it.

Cliodhna Eoghan Approaches Caen and Eva. "Would you two like fortune cookies?"
Eva Zelorius: "I'm convinced the parable sounds slightly different with each year.  Oh- a cookie!  Certainly, but only one!"
Cliodhna Eoghan Passes over a pink dipped one for Eva reading "The star of happiness is shining on you"
Eva Zelorius motions joyfully, eating the cookie as she reads her fortune.
Eva Zelorius: "Thank you Dearie, for the cookie, and for the fortune both!"
Bravaden Warder waits for Clio to finish before speaking "Do you still have some tokens left Clio?"
Cliodhna Eoghan: I do Bravaden, would you like one too?
Bravaden Warder nodded with a smirk "I would"
Cliodhna Eoghan Passes over one striped pink and white reading "All your hard work will soon pay off."
Bravaden Warder takes the cookie and eats it as he reads the cookie over "Well... this is a pleasant thing to read."
Cliodhna Eoghan: A fitting fortune?
Bravaden Warder: "Yeah... it says all my hard work will eventually pay off.  So it's nice to know something will come from all this nonsense lately"
Cliodhna Eoghan: That's good to hear then!
Cliodhna Eoghan Hands one to Caen dipped in white chocolate. "What you decide today will be your good fortune."
Caen Macleod worded quietly the same words he just read.
Caen Macleod: thank you.
Cliodhna Eoghan: You're welcome.
Bravaden Warder: "What about you?  It feels like forever since we've spoke."
Cliodhna Eoghan Grins and holds out her right hand, showing off the engagement ring. "Quite a few things have been happening."
Bravaden Warder notices the band and smiles "Its about time!  Tellah told me his plans and I've been waiting to hear about the bloody thing coming to pass for what feels like months now..."
Cliodhna Eoghan: You knew....and didn't tell me???
Cliodhna Eoghan: Do you know what he did?!
Cliodhna Eoghan: Right in the middle of the biggest crowd ever!
Cliodhna Eoghan huffs, cheeks slightly pink from blushing
Bravaden Warder coughed "By him I mean Erik's plans and not Tellah.  And of course I wouldn't tell you!  Although I'm sorry I missed it."
Cliodhna Eoghan Gives Bravaden a shove. "Still if the old man knew and told you, SOMEONE should have told me!"
Bravaden Warder smiled "I didn't mean to ignore you ma'am.  It was nice to hear such a fitting story.  SOMEONE..." he looked to Clio "Could take the hint that some things need to be left to the Spinner.  We can't know everything."
Cliodhna Eoghan Still slightly pouting in a huff. "I had expect it eventually, but not...that flashy..."
Bravaden Warder: "Listen... nothing brings a smile to a man's face more than proclaiming something he's certain of.  It was a fitting event to let everyone know his intentions."
Cliodhna Eoghan Frowns softens a bit. "Still though...In the middle of the Royal ball?"  Tucks a lock of hair behind her ear, biting back a smile threating to break her grumpy mood.
Bravaden Warder: "Wear it proudly ma'am. If anything it will lend itself to some interesting tales later.  Erik is a man who clearly understands, that a strong memory of earnest love will help carry you through darker times."
Bravaden Warder looked shocked to himself "That... was pretty good... I need to write that down."
Cliodhna Eoghan Nods, letting the smile break through. "I suppose you're right....I'd be lying if I said that didn't help in the past when we had....issues..."
Bravaden Warder: "Well there you have it then.  So other than enjoying an embarrassing scene, how have you been?  And what of the old man?"
Cliodhna Eoghan: I've been doing well....Just work, planning my next binge drinking event, a wedding...." Frowns slightly. "Lenna's here so Tellah has been spending a lot of time with her when she's not with Erik....Can't really bring a kid into a bar."
Bravaden Warder: "Lenna"  Erik's child right?"
Cliodhna Eoghan: Yeah...

♣♣♣♣♣

Cliodhna Eoghan Glances over to Y'rhen. "Did you get a fortune cookie yet?"
Y'rhen Tia nods. "Yes I did, it was well interesting."
Cliodhna Eoghan: Oh?
Y'rhen Tia nods." It said Fear is er." checks his bags." I think I dropped it."
Cliodhna Eoghan: Oh if you lost it I can give you another if you like?
Y'rhen Tia blinks."Ummsure okay yea."
Cliodhna Eoghan Smiles and hands over a whit chocolate with pink sprinkles cookie, the fortune contained within "Forget yesterday, tomorrow will be a golden day for you"
Y'rhen Tia blinks and takes it, he opens it and reads it smirking."Oi..these cookies know me."
Y'rhen Tia bows his head. "Thank you."
Cliodhna Eoghan: So you got a good one?
Cliodhna Eoghan: You're welcome.
Y'rhen Tia: I got a good one to me I think.."
Y'rhen Tia mumbles something playing with the paper.
Cliodhna Eoghan Nods to the group, excusing herself. "I'll be back in a bit."

Cliodhna Eoghan Takes a seat next to Jancis in the slightly damp grass. "Did you get a cookie yet?"
Jancis Milburga looks off to the trio by the water for a minute before looking up at Clio, "Ah, no, no I have not."
Cliodhna Eoghan "You should! They were a wonderful idea." Passes over one that's dipped in white chocolate with pink sprinkles. The fortune reading "Be patient - the true love you seek will appear."
Jancis Milburga smiles, "Thank you. Oh O'jirho, Did you get one?" She looks over to the miqo'te across from her, offering it.
O'jirho Tia: Yeah, I got one.
Jancis Milburga nods, and breaks her open. "..." Half laughing, she looks wistful at the message within.
Cliodhna Eoghan: Did you get a good fortune?
Jancis Milburga rubs her cheek absently, "Ah.. yes, yes I believe so." She repeats the message out loud, her voice growing softer. "Is not something I had expected."
Cliodhna Eoghan: It tends to be that way with fortune cookies, I've noticed.
Jancis Milburga: "It is a curious thing that we immediately link ourselves to something so simple sometimes. Just eager to relate."
Cliodhna Eoghan Glances into the nearly empty basket and spies a broken one. "Oops...Looks like one didn't make it." Picks up the fortune reading it. "Your difficulties will strengthen you." Frowns slightly. "Hmm..."
Cliodhna Eoghan: True enough but I overheard Chachanji's was less relatable
O'jirho Tia seems content with staring out towards the horizon, listening to the conversation next to him. He yawns.
Jancis Milburga smiles, "The man crying for help being trapped in a cookie factory? That was well worth its weight in cookie."
O'jirho Tia snickers.
Jancis Milburga: "What was yours, O'jirho?"
Cliodhna Eoghan Chuckles again. "That one was interesting."
O'jirho Tia: "Stop searching forever, happiness is just next to you."
Jancis Milburga blinks at O'jirho.
O'jirho Tia shrugs his shoulders. "Not sure if I believe it."
Jancis Milburga: "Same. I am clearly not happiness."
O'jirho Tia chuckles.
Jancis Milburga smiles as he laughs, "Lady Cliodhna knows happiness. Ah! Maybe it means a good meal or a warm pillow and a safe place to be. Oh, ah, hm..."
Cliodhna Eoghan Chuckles. "I'm sure happiness can be interpreted in many ways...Our minds just tend to jump to one type first hmm?"
O'jirho Tia looks out towards the horizon again. "Well, if that's the case, that's all the way back in the Shroud."
Jancis Milburga: "Surely whatever is on top of our minds."
Jancis Milburga nods in agreement with Clio.

Ciel Sauveterre "Seems I've arrived earlier than necessary once more."
Jancis Milburga "Verily. Though with the area it seems well worth it. A warm fog blankets us for now."
Coatleque Crofte "There is no shame in punctuality."
Ciel Sauveterre "I'll take the fog over rain, or miasma, any sun."
Jancis Milburga "You come unescorted this eve, Lady? No good humored man to keep close at hand?"
Ciel Sauveterre smiles, "He may yet join us. Business with the Maelstrom often delays him."
Jancis Milburga "Ah, I understand that. They are one for pomp and circumstance... at least that is what many of my officers call drinking and talking."
Locke Fairwind "And so, we meet again. It's good to see ya Ilwe, Ciel."
Ciel Sauveterre "True enough." She smiles to Locke and tips down on the brim of her hat, "Hello, friend."
Jancis Milburga "Welcome, Lord. Is nice to have you with us once more."
Locke Fairwind "And I believe this is the one in charge, Jancis, right?"
Ciel Sauveterre "Lady Jancis does a wonderful job arranging all of these Celebrations."
Jancis Milburga laughs awkwardly, "Partly, yes, I do help the priests that they might keep it a light affair. Really everyone's own efforts handle themselves."
Locke Fairwind "Formal, aren't we? Lord seems a bit... Well, out of character for me. We haven't met in person, but I'm Locke." His gaze then shifted toward Ilwe. "Heh, red's been growing on me as of late. My last robe was getting a bit worn down too."
Jancis Milburga "Red is a powerful color."
Ilwe'ran Hlaiwa Mmh, at least I will not take you for a Black Mage anymore
Locke Fairwind "Hmm... A noticeable one, at that. Goes well with the glasses though. Haha, I'd be strung up by my neck if most did, Ilwe."
Coatleque Crofte "Not all Black Mages wear black, though."
Jancis Milburga laughs lightly, "Black Mage? Is a curious rumor from ages past."
Ilwe'ran Hlaiwa That's true, but Sir Locke was.. Yes I will say that he was coming to help to protect people.. Wearing that old dark heavy robe.. And I misunderstood
Jancis Milburga "A Harbinger is above all else a protector. Well, in different ways, but protector nonetheless, Is that correct Lord Locke?"
Ciel Sauveterre "Already, I like this audience."
Locke Fairwind "I have been told that the robe is a bit intimidating on a few occasions. It's served its purpose well though." He gave a nod in reply to Jancis' question. "Aye, though I'm not much of a protector myself. Many a time, I find myself being the one protected. I'm a healer, not a fighter." He chuckled.
Jancis Milburga "I understand that all too well, despite trying to be self reliant, it proves to be folly in most cases."
Locke Fairwind "There's only so much a wooden staff can do against metal and teeth in the end."
 Jancis Milburga nods in agreement.

â™ â™ â™

 Ciel Sauveterre "Miss Iskierka."
Ciel Sauveterre "Will you be speaking at the Celebration this eve?"
Iskierka Stormspeaker I am. I've prepared a song. Yourself?
Ciel Sauveterre "Oh! Lovely, I'll quite look forward to hearing it. I've a song as well."
Iskierka Stormspeaker I hope it's not the same one!
Iskierka Stormspeaker All kidding aside, I'm sure it will be lovely.
Angora Khilo "Are you singing another song today, Ms. Ciel?"
Ciel Sauveterre "It should be a fine evening." She nods to Angora, "Aye. I have one suitable for Nymeia, may She be pleased."
Angora Khilo "I'm sure it will be lovely."
Ciel Sauveterre "I hope so, but there is so much talent here, other performers more suited to take center stage than I."

Ciel Sauveterre "Here you are. You've become so popular, people have started asking if you're coming to these things."
Jonathan Grayve  " Is that so? Hm I've...only spectated.
Ciel Sauveterre "Might well be the company you keep, love."
Jonathan Grayve " I think that would be the proper catalyst, wouldn't you?"
Ciel Sauveterre "Sounds like we're getting started... Oh, I don't know, dear. Why wouldn't anyone be glad to see you?"

Locke Fairwind "Ah, if it isn't Clio. How go those wedding plans?"
Cliodhna Eoghan Glances up in Locke's direction. "Locke, nice to see you again! They're going....we plan to have it in a little over a month now."
Locke Fairwind "Oh, so soon? Certainly sounds like you'll be busy until then."
Cliodhna Eoghan Not entirely if you count how long we've been together on and off.....But yes I imagine there's lots to plan beforehand.
Locke Fairwind "Ah, so it was about time that he finally popped the big question then. Still, better late than never."
Cliodhna Eoghan "To be fair we had a bit of a bumpy road...Work and a few other things had gotten in the way, so it's more along the lines of it finally being a proper time for it." Smiles, fingers brushing over her ring.
Locke Fairwind "Can't expect every road traveled to be a smooth one. The fact that you both persisted this long certainly says something though. Nevertheless, I'm happy for ya. If you'll excuse me, I should be with the others now."
Cliodhna Eoghan Nods "Thank you, and I'll be seeing you Locke."

â™ â™ â™

Jancis Milburga beams at Iskierka, waving cheerfully.
Iskierka Stormspeaker Miss Jancis, this appears to be a success already.
Jancis Milburga bows to Iskierka, smiling warmly at the woman. "Very much so. The Spinner surely must be beyond joy."
Iskierka Stormspeaker Maybe she'll bless us at the tables later on, then.
 Jancis Milburga "Tables? With food?"
 Iskierka Stormspeaker Cards.

Xenedra Ambreaus slides down the pole behind Jancis. What a friggin' show off.
 Iskierka Stormspeaker Xenedra. Hi.
Xenedra Ambreaus Hello, how are you~?
Iskierka Stormspeaker Doing well. Much better than normal. How have things been going with the uh... well, Castus' work?
Xenedra Ambreaus Not bad. He's almost had a little bit *too* much recently. People can't seem to keep themselves from getting void-tainted in some way or another.

Bravaden Warder adjusted a pauldron and shifted his weight a little "Still getting used to this new gear... it fits well at least."
Bravaden Warder removed his helmet and placed it in his satchel
Caen Macleod its been some time Warder.
Bravaden Warder squints a moment "Caen... by the twelve how have the fates treated you?"
Caen Macleod well, you see the uniform, you decided *he chuckled*.
Bravaden Warder "I did a stint with the Maelstrom for most of my time. Followed some other silly endeavors. Foolish youth etc. etc."
Caen Macleod you could say I am honor bound.
 Bravaden Warder "Hm?"
Bravaden Warder "Well its good to see you Caen, let me go say hello to Jancis a moment. I'll be right back"
Bravaden Warder looked up and sighed "I just got this armor... of course it was time for more rain"
Bravaden Warder looked to Caen with a smirk "She's a busy lady. I'll catch up with her later. Lets leave some room for the more devout."

â™ â™ â™

 Reginald Ozrik "Good eve, Sigurd."
 Sigurd Rainecourt Hello, Regi.
Reginald Ozrik "How have you been?"
Sigurd Rainecourt huffs. "That's a little bit of a complex question, something not to talk about during a celebration."
 Reginald Ozrik nodded. "I understand."
Sigurd Rainecourt After, perhaps. I may need a few tips on how to keep my limbs in one-on-one combat.
Sigurd Rainecourt A bell or two, usually.
Reginald Ozrik hummed thoughtfully. "Then allow me to say hello to Jancis before we begin."
Jancis Milburga beams at Reginald, "You made it. No tripping? No slips?"
Reginald Ozrik "Good eve, Jancis. I wanted to thank you for your reminder and invitation. I stepped in some dung on the way in, however."
 Sigurd Rainecourt Likewise.
Jancis Milburga "Ah... that is a cruel fate. Is a lot of grass along the way it will wipe it all. No worries."
Reginald Ozrik seem rather annoyed with stepping in dung. "Took me far too long to wipe my boot clean." He held up a hand as if to silence himself. "But I am sure this pilgrimage will be lovely."
Reginald Ozrik "I will let you to your work," he said softly.
Reginald Ozrik "Why are you so far back?"
Sigurd Rainecourt Just felt like standing in the back, I guess.

Leanne Delphium tips her hat with a smile to Xenedra and Nathan. "I'm curious about which words you will have for the Spinner."
Leanne Delphium smiles awkwardly to Jancis. "...My concept of fate is...not wholly formed to be one of the performers, unfortunately...sorry, Ms. Jancis."
Nathan Telluride grins sheepishly. "It was felt that we had sufficient performers for tonight, so this evening, I am here as a supporter and pilgrim, but not a voice."
 Leanne Delphium "Ah?"
Leanne Delphium seems slightly disappointed, ears lowering. "Aaw...oh well. Was curious as for your interpretation of fate, Mr. Nathan! I for myself couldn't find something concrete, worthy of song..."
Lottie Forsaidh turns to find the voice, parting her gaze from Iskierka. "Ah? Miss Leanne?"
Leanne Delphium bows her head to Lottie, smiling. "Ms. Lottie...!"
 Lottie Forsaidh "There you are!"
Leanne Delphium waves with a bright smile. "Spot the hat, you spot me!"
Lottie Forsaidh "And even brought one of my own."
Lottie Forsaidh taps the straw hat above her with a large smile growing.
Leanne Delphium gives her a big thumbs up. "I approve the hat!"
Lottie Forsaidh "Thank you! I wanted advice from an expert."
Nathan Telluride "I saw no fireworks, nor heard any moogle chorus, so I think we relied on sheer persistence to find you, Leanne."
Leanne Delphium snickers. "Sorry...no moogle chorus or anything else today...just a hat! And a girl wishing to learn."
Nathan Telluride nods. "Fate, then, will decide what we find out tonight."
Leanne Delphium smiles sheepishly. "Gah...this will be a confusing pilgrimage..
Lottie Forsaidh tugs her hat further
Lottie Forsaidh blinks from the sudden rain and begins to tug on his sleeve, murmuring something
Lottie Forsaidh tucks behind Nathan's frame to peel the shirt on, surfacing briefly.

â™ â™ â™

 Edda Eglantine "Hello Virara..."
Virara Wakuwa "... Another pilgrimage... I came because Jancis is doing it... But I am a stranger to Eorzean gods."
Edda Eglantine "Then is this not a good opportunity to learn?"
 Virara Wakuwa "Yes."
Chachanji Gegenji Y'know. That's actually why I started goin' ta these meself.
Chachanji Gegenji Wanted ta find out 'bout this Twelve ev'ryone talks 'bout.
Memeli Meli Ya'll gonna get cursed talkin' like that.
Edda Eglantine "Sigurd. It is good to see you."
 Chachanji Gegenji Who is?
Virara Wakuwa faintly smirks at Reginald Ozrik's back.
Memeli Meli looks around warily. "Don't offend the Gods. They'll curse ya with bad luck! So say you know 'em SUPER WELL."
Chachanji Gegenji W-well, I know lots 'bout 'em NOW.
Chachanji Gegenji But I didn't when I first started goin', y'know?
Memeli Meli Eh, true I 'spose...
Chachanji Gegenji 'n would they really curse ya fer wantin' ta know more 'bout 'em?

Solis Claritas arrives from the aethertye alongside  others.
Solis Claritas Hey you're that blonde that got proposed to at the Ball!
Ilwe'ran Hlaiwa You look particularly beautiful today, Lady Cliodhna
Cliodhna Eoghan Walks up to Ilwe. "Sorry I didn't get a chance to reply to your letter you sent awhile back...I got it but my desk is such a mess I um....misplaced it for the time being." Tucks a lock of hair behind her ear a bit sheepishly.
 Solis Claritas Hey!
Jancis Milburga smiles and greets Solis, "Hello! Sir Solis is good to see you again."
Solis Claritas About time I get to one of these things!
Ilwe'ran Hlaiwa It's alright, we managed to arrange something for the children, they are fine now.
Cliodhna Eoghan Nods. "I see, glad to hear that."
Ilwe'ran Hlaiwa Lady Jancis gave us some sort of Elixir for Carina and the children are getting used to her. So I suppose that for now everything is going for the best
Ilwe'ran Hlaiwa I finally had a bit of time to finish my delayed orders though I suppose I will have to wait a bit more before taking on some more as my sister will soon give birth and I'll have to assist her
Cliodhna Eoghan "Of course. The one I had wasn't really an order so much as blueprints I thought you might like. They came into my hands from another and I can't really make anything from raw materials so I thought you'd find more use for it." Smiles. "Is it her first or second..?"
Virara Wakuwa narrows her eye at Solis Claritas. "... You again."

â™ â™ â™

Mikha Sunthistle spots Tau across the crowd -- he's easy to see over everyone. "Hi!" he greets as he approaches, smiling. "How're you? It's been a while! Sorry I've been busy, I haven't been able to come by."
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn turns to Mikha, arching a brow before recognition sets in. "Oi! Ahoy, lad, it has been a bit!"
Mikha Sunthistle grins as the Roe recognizes him. "It has been! I didn't know you were going to be here." He glances around the crowd, appearing to recognize faces here and there. "I'm glad I came! Is the captain here too?"
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn Ah, nay, she's sittin' this'un out. I fear she's got a few issues she's focusin' on today.
Mikha Sunthistle 's smile fades into a more serious look. "I hope everything comes out okay. If you remember, tell her I said so?" Then he glances around the crowd again. "Know when it's supposed to start? I rushed over, I thought I was going to miss the beginning."
Mikha Sunthistle catches Caen's nod and gives him a warm smile in return.

Chachanji Gegenji Thanks fer lettin' us use th' cushion, Mel-chan.
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn stands to his feet, stretching mightily. "NNNGH!"
Memeli Meli Glad the skies cleared up~
Chachanji Gegenji Yeah.
Locke Fairwind "Aye, glad the weather cleared up towards the end."
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn I'm not.
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn Rain's best!
Chachanji Gegenji I ain't got nothin' 'gainst rain.
Chachanji Gegenji I jus' got somethin' 'gainst havin' a wet butt.
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn Makes ye strong'r!
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn slams a fist into his chest, laughing aloud.
Chachanji Gegenji Makes me feel all squidgy.

Edda Eglantine sighs and sits down.
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn Excellent story, lass.
Edda Eglantine "O-oh! Thank you Sir Tau."
Virara Wakuwa "... You gave me a very different impression.
Edda Eglantine "A different impression?"
Virara Wakuwa "... Hm, many people are told stories by their families..."
Virara Wakuwa "... You seemed younger somehow."
Edda Eglantine "Younger? Really?"
Virara Wakuwa "Like you were as you were when you were told the story."
Virara Wakuwa "... It was good."
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn Jus' so!
Edda Eglantine smiles. "I see. Thank you, Virara. I am glad you were able to take something from it."
Virara Wakuwa "Take? Hmm..."
Virara Wakuwa "Well, I enjoyed it, if that is what you mean..."
Edda Eglantine "As in, glean some insight to our Gods, if you will."
Virara Wakuwa "I think I understand a bit more. But it will require much more study."
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn Anyroad, goin' to make the rounds, lass. We'll see ye 'round the house, aye?
Virara Wakuwa "Things that I cannot touch, I do not consider often."
Edda Eglantine "I see. That is good."
Edda Eglantine "Take care, Sir Tau."
Virara Wakuwa "... See you there."
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn Aye aye!

Tausenadel Geispyrsyn Lass! Once 'gain, thank ye for this.
Jancis Milburga beams at Tausen, "You are welcome. Always good to have you around. Keeping Lady Meli and all contained surely. Did you get cookies?"
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn 's ears perk up. "Cookies? Er...I'll be right back."
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn Oi! Iski'rka! Where're ye at?
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn Aye!
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn holds out a grabby hand.
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn noshes instantly, biting into the cookie and fishing the paper out of his mouth. "Oh...but I like rain...?" He shrugs, polishing off the rest and licking a finger.
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn Thanks, lass!
Jancis Milburga gives Tausen a good humored look. "How many?"
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn Jus'un! Silly fortune but it was delicious!
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn Thank ye for tellin' me o' 'em.

Edda Eglantine "...Jancis. Thank you for having me."
Jancis Milburga "You are beyond welcome, Lady Edda. As always. You are kin. I was really happy to hear your story."
Edda Eglantine "A-ah thank you Jancis..."
Edda Eglantine blushes.
Jancis Milburga "Still welcome. I dare think I should thank you. In truth I was surprised you wished to share. Ah, in a good way. I mean."
Edda Eglantine "R-really? Nymeia holds a special place for me, though I fear I do her no great justice. I've been told many stories about her though, so I certainly wanted to share."
Jancis Milburga "I certainly liked it, Lady Edda. Tausen you should take example from her. Shall need our own story night again I would ever be so happy."
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn grins wide, nodding once. "Aye, lass! That's a fine idea. Let's see what I can cook up, eh?"
Jancis Milburga "Fortunes dare say should be delicious. Yes. Shall have to make our own cookies for it. Mayhaps no loving pets unless you are in need of loving homes."
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn rubs the back of his head, wincing. "...aye. Or at least tell Syl to stay home."
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn But once 'gain, thank ye for this. It's good to come out here, I so rarely see the oth'r stones.
Jancis Milburga "You are welcome. Always happy to have you along. You know that."

Jancis Milburga remarks to Tausen, "I doubt she could top her last story... maybe..." sounds unsure. "Be safe!"
Tausenadel Geispyrsyn HA! Mayhaps not. Aye, I'll see ye at the house, lass.

Baraiyrn Winsthanth "So we're supposed to pray here or some such?" Baraiyrn asked to nobody in particular.
Baraiyrn Winsthanth tapped on the Duskwight woman's shoulder.  "So we're supposed to pray here?"
Eva Zelorius glances at the stone again for a moment, before turning to the roegadyn beside her.
Eva Zelorius "I've come here often to pray to the Spinner, aye...  I feel closer to her, here...  But this place also brings back some painful memories."
Eva Zelorius "But you may pray to Her, or to any of the Twelve wherever you feel They may best hear your words."
Baraiyrn Winsthanth nodded.  "Oh, right!  This is one of them rocks with the Twelve's carvings in em.  I heard some tourists at my ma's snack stand talking about them before." He cleared his throat.  "Never seen one up close before."
Baraiyrn Winsthanth yawns. "Looks.. shinier than a normal rock."
Eva Zelorius "They are scattered about Eorzea.  It is a good pilgrimage to make, to visit each of them.  I made it once, but... that was several years ago and.. things are quite different now."
Baraiyrn Winsthanth nodded.  "I'm Baraiyrn, by the way.  Iyrn for short.  Or Bara, whichever."
Eva Zelorius "It's nice to meet you Baraiyrn.  May the blessings of Nymeia, and all of the Twelve be with you."
Baraiyrn Winsthanth nodded. "My ma' runs a snack stand thing on Costa Del Sol."
Baraiyrn Winsthanth took a sidelong glance at the Duskwight woman's garb. "You some kinda nobility or something?"
Eva Zelorius "Just a priestess of Nymeia."
Baraiyrn Winsthanth looks surprised by her answer. "Makes sense why you'd be here then.  And that's a nice lookin' outfit."
Baraiyrn Winsthanth rubbed his eyes with the base of his palms.  "Well, I'd best get going.  Nice meeting you."
Eva Zelorius bows her head politely, turning back to the stone.
Eva Zelorius "The Twelve go with you.  If I'm out near Costa del Sol I'll see about looking your mother up if I find myself in need of snacks."

Lottie Forsaidh "Baraiyrn?"
Baraiyrn Winsthanth "Hm?"
Lottie Forsaidh 's eyes skirt to a very familiar, ghostly looking Roegadyn.
Baraiyrn Winsthanth "Oh you're the um... the woman from the infirmary, right?"
Lottie Forsaidh seemed less flustered to know he at least had trousers on this time, "Yes. The one you asked you to leave for public indecency." A slow smile arrives.
Baraiyrn Winsthanth yawns.  "Hey, I was wearin' a waistcloth - and uh... so you work there too?  I'm new still, just got contracted a few days ago."
Lottie Forsaidh "Yes, I'm one of the menders who assist with the injured - it is a pleasure to meet you."
Baraiyrn Winsthanth bows in response to Lottie's bow, though it was clear he had no such formal training in etiquette. "You too."
Leanne Delphium tilts her head. "Humm. Well, I'm sure you will think of something, Mr. Nathan! Perhaps something in honor of Ms. Lottie? If that works somehow."
Lottie Forsaidh casts a curious glance over her shoulder, "Ah? What did I do?" She blinked.
Baraiyrn Winsthanth "So musta been a busy for you recently, huh?  What with that one highlander, and then the other highlander fellow."
Leanne Delphium "Ah! Just...talking about inspirations still, Ms. Lottie!" she snickers, bowing to the Roe afterwards.
Lottie Forsaidh "Hm? That would be Caleb and Berrod - they had suffered injuries recently but I hear they are both improving in health."
Lottie Forsaidh casts a certain glance at Leanne, playful mostly. "Baraiyrn, may I introduce you to Nathan and Leanne?"
Baraiyrn Winsthanth "Should I bring 'em anything from the kitchen?  You know, like soup or something?"
Nathan Telluride grins at Lottie. "The lovely witch would likely be at the very top of her healing game if I were not constantly insisting that she join me in music and wanderings."
Lottie Forsaidh 's smiles brightly, "You and Miss Leanne make it too difficult to resist such offers."
Lottie Forsaidh "If you feel it necessary; just keep in mind that they both have very large appetites and Ser Berrod has a strict diet of fatty foods."
Nathan Telluride nods. 'You're still going to duet with me, love. It's going to happen."
Leanne Delphium giggles, once more bowing her head. "Do not blame me, blame my harp...! Also, pleasure, sir...!"
Lottie Forsaidh "Leanne, Nathan - this is my fellow colleague, whom we apparently just hired a few days ago."
Baraiyrn Winsthanth "Bara -" He yawned. "Iyrn."
Nathan Telluride "A pleasure, sir, to see a man so comfortable with Limsan fashion."
Lottie Forsaidh "Maybe -too- comfortable."
Baraiyrn Winsthanth looks at Lottie. "Hey I grew up in these parts, I'll have you know."
Leanne Delphium chuckles. "Well, there's no problem in it, righty? Anyway, pleasure, once more! Name's Leanne, as Ms. Lottie said!"
Leanne Delphium "Seasoned Adventurer, and as Mr. Nathan likes to put, Hat Primal."
Lottie Forsaidh "One of the most well fashioned women I've met so far."
Nathan Telluride "We tried to find an airship sturdy enough to approach Miss Delphium's hat, and it was scattered to the winds, to be pulled apart by a horde of miffed Moogles."
Baraiyrn Winsthanth "Nice to meet you Leanne."
Leanne Delphium laughs bashfully. "See what I meant? But yes, a pleasure!"
Lottie Forsaidh throws a surprisingly charismatic wink at her.
Baraiyrn Winsthanth "So ah... do you both belong to the Agency too?"
Nathan Telluride purses his lips. "I do wonder if this unexpected, pleasant surprise is starting to form?"
Leanne Delphium giggles. "Ah, anyhow, may I detach myself from the ground. Gonna poke a sheep without shepherd."
Leanne Delphium "Wait, what?"
Nathan Telluride whistles. "Oh, nothing. But if you wish to socialize, Leanne, please so, and bring cheer to a wide circle."
Lottie Forsaidh blinked at her expression but smiled once she realized its meaning. "I -suppose-." She murmured curiously. "Just be sure to visit again soon!"
Lottie Forsaidh "Ah? Not precisely, Mister Baraiyrn. Nathan is a bard with a few colleagues and Leanne is a friend I've made during my excursions with him."
Baraiyrn Winsthanth "Well, it was nice to meet both of you.  I'd best get back and prepare some food for the highlander fellows."
Lottie Forsaidh "Of course. Have a good evening."
Baraiyrn Winsthanth "Take care.  And I'll see you at HQ or somethin, Lottie."

Syrress Detilderan "That was a lovely performance Ms. Ciel. I enjoyed it greatly."
Ciel Sauveterre smiles at Syrress Detilderan.
Angora Khilo agrees wholeheartedly with Syrress Detilderan.
Ciel Sauveterre "Thank you, Miss Syrress.  'Tis a pleasure to be present for these events."
Syrress Detilderan smiled warmly at Ciel, bowing her head. "I look forward to attending others in the future." she said, smiling to both her and Angora before excusing herself. "Safe travels to you both on the return home."
Ciel Sauveterre bids farewell to Syrress Detilderan.
Jancis Milburga "Lady Syrress! Is good tiding you have you here."
Jancis Milburga "Thank you for coming. Is everyone well? My shoulder is as if nothing ever was amiss."
Syrress Detilderan "Tis good to see you again Jancis. That was simply lovely, and I enjoyed immensely. I do look forward to attending more in the future."
Jancis Milburga beams at Syrress. "That is good to hear. Shall be upon the isle next moon as well for the Navigator."
Syrress Detilderan bowed deeply to Jancis, smiling warmly as right herself. "I shall look forward to attending then. Twelve bless on your return journey home."
Jancis Milburga "Thank you. You as well. Travel safe and surely in good company."
Angora Khilo "It's good to see you again, Ms. Jancis."
Jancis Milburga bows to Angora, "Thank you for coming, Lady. Very honored to have you come all this way and to see you once more. All is well now I hope?"
Angora Khilo nods and taps her head. "Yes, Ma'am. All healed up."
Jancis Milburga "Wonderful, Lady Angora. Though your company is not one to not be thorough. Did you find anything in particular speak to you here?"
Angora Khilo thinks for a moment. "I did rather like all the stories tonight. The view from this spot helped set the mood as well. I'll have to visit here more often."
Jancis Milburga looks to Ciel as she speaks, "Your song was just right to start off a lovely celebration. You are truly inspiring."
Ciel Sauveterre smiles, "I didn't want to interrupt. And thank you, as always for hosting this.  'Tis always a joy to be a part of such happenings."
Angora Khilo looks up at the sky and sighs. "I'm afraid I must be off. Have a job to get back to. Thank you again for hosting this, Ms. Jancis."
Jancis Milburga "You are welcome. Travel safely."

Bravaden Warder "That was quite a treat.  Much better than the last ceremony I attended.  Not that Thaliak's reception was poor, but there were some things I was concerned about."
Mikha Sunthistle stops short at the familiar, and not familiar, faces.  "Hi!" he greets Caen, then looks to Bravaden.  "Hello too!  Wow, you must be hot in that armor, huh?"
Caen Macleod Mikha, greetings once again.
Caen Macleod this is an old acquaintance Bravaden Warder, and a new acquaintance ..Eligia was it?
Bravaden Warder "I offered my services a guard, but I found out they weren't needed.  As for the heat, you'd be surprised how nice the breeze can feel.  I will be out of it soon though.  Be sure of that."
Mikha Sunthistle steps closer, grinning at that. "I bet it will. I'm glad they weren't needed." Then he holds out his hand to shake, "I'm Mikha, Mikha Sunthistle. How long did it take you to get used to fighting in armor?"
Bravaden Warder accept the hand with a firm shake "It took a good few years.  You get used to it though, especially when the suit is made specifically for you."
Mikha Sunthistle ohs, then looks Bravaden up and down, checking out his armor at closer range. "Bet it cost a lot to get it made to you."  Then he smiles as he goes on, sounding like he's admitting something, "I thought maybe you fought in the north. Your armor's pointy, like a dragoon's."
Bravaden Warder smirked at the mention of Dragoons "Well, I had some inspiration from them... and yes, I actually just got the suit today.  I had saved up a good deal for it"
Caen Macleod touched the rock, then smiled.
Mikha Sunthistle 's eyes light up at mention dragoons were the inspiration for it -- he was right!  The teen smiles again, "If anything ever tries to bite into you, they'll be sorry!" He glances around at the slowly thinning crowd, then back to him. "What kind of things do you usually guard?"
Bravaden Warder smirked "You're a curious one..." he chuckled though as he continued "I mostly do odd and end work for the Coral Sea.  I was freelance about a month ago but they've been good about giving me more steady work.  As for 'what' I guard, it really depends on the job.  But I would say mostly shipments."
Mikha Sunthistle shrugs and nods that he's curious, still smiling. "I like learning about people. Everyone's interesting!" Then he blinks, looking surprised at who he works for. "Wow, I want to work for them, too!" His smile warms further. "I like everyone I met from there. I work real hard, so hopefully one day I can!"
Caen Macleod stayed quiet listening to their conversation.
Bravaden Warder shrugged "Well you've got to rub the right elbows I guess.  That or wait for another one of their recruitment campaigns.  I only knew about it because I saw a flyer."
Mikha Sunthistle nods, not looking daunted at all by that. "One day," he smiles. "It was really nice meeting you, hopefully I will again. I'm going to go find dinner now, I came straight from work, I'm starving!  Stay safe, okay?"
Bravaden Warder nodded "You as well!"
Mikha Sunthistle gives him one last smile, then returns the bow. He gives Caen a smile and a wave, then heads up the hill.
Bravaden Warder looked to Caen "Did you speak to your friend?"
Caen Macleod hmmm
Caen Macleod well Warder, what say you?
Bravaden Warder looked to Caen oddly.  "Hmm?  And what do you mean, what say I?  I just finished speaking to that young man and haven't even gotten a chance to get one of these 'parting' gifts everyone is snatching up."
Caen Macleod sorry, just making conversation.
Caen Macleod in any case.
Bravaden Warder "I'm not complaining, talking hasn't really been my strong suit either, but there are a lot of people from my free company here.  I thought it would be a good chance to mingle with them, rather then just 'see' them."
Caen Macleod nodded.
Memeli Meli ME ME ME! Give me mine!
Bravaden Warder smirked as he could here Memeli's 'cries' from here.  "That lalafell.."
Caen Macleod heh.

Y'rhen Tia watches the two before he speaks. "You should go talk to them than."
Bravaden Warder bowed to Y'rhen "I should, but they're all rather preoccupied it would seem." A taunting grin came over his face "How goes your conquest?"
Y'rhen Tia faces turn slight read as he rubs the back of his neck."Haha...not well. Being really busy.."
Bravaden Warder gave the young miqo'te a thumbs up "You can't be idle, if you're going to win someone's affection, you need to go all in."
Y'rhen Tia waves his hands."Shhh our race has good ears!"
Bravaden Warder "Maybe she needs to hear."
Bravaden Warder smirked "Besides, I haven't said her name."
Y'rhen Tia looks back and then at Bravaden."You haven't...yet Braven. Can't rush these things, well I guess sometimes er...uh." rubs his head.
Bravaden Warder shook his head "Timing is everything, but don't assume you can approach the matter with one speed.  Sometimes you need to play your hand, and not wait vainly for a better one."
Y'rhen Tia sighs and rubs the back of his neck." I get what you are saying." takes a deep breath. "I'll try..yes..er." nods."er Thanks Braven. See you back at the company house."
Bravaden Warder coughed and looked behind Y'rhen then coughed again.  "They're here... why wait to be at the company house."
Y'rhen Tia cracks his neck and turns. "Right..
Bravaden Warder "Be bold, and go forward.  If anything, you can always see it as an opportunity to gain more life experiences."
Y'rhen Tia nods." I got this."
Bravaden Warder smiles at Y'rhen then turns to Caen.  "Sorry about that.  Trying to help the poor lad out.  What about you though?  Surely you've been doing more then meandering about."
Caen Macleod went and said a prayer, *he smiled* and just watching over everyone.
Caen Macleod an adders work is never done you know.
Bravaden Warder "Well if the tales of the Spinner taught me anything, its that one can't hope for fate to carry them to their destination.  They need to seek out their course if they wish to have a say in the matter."
Caen Macleod very true.
Bravaden Warder "As short and to the point as ever I see..."
Bravaden Warder sighed "Caen, I know neither of us are all that terribly gifted with socializing, but even I know how to carry on a conversation.  What did you think the stories meant to you?"
Caen Macleod fate can be... interesting..
Caen Macleod you say most of these people here belong to your FC?
Bravaden Warder shrugged "Well I've seen many of them before.  Some I've talked to, others I've just met really."
Caen Macleod ah I see, well, soon you should know them as your brothers and sisters in arms.
Caen Macleod hold on one moment.
Bravaden Warder "Maybe?  I'm still- And sure."
Caen Macleod bows courteously to Eva Zelorius.
Eva Zelorius smiles at Caen Macleod.
Bravaden Warder smirked as he watched Caen meander back to the priestess.
Caen Macleod you did well, as always *he smirked*.
Caen Macleod oh my.. where are my manners.
Eva Zelorius tucks the bit of parchment into her belt pouch for safekeeping before turning to the stone again.  Violet eyes look beyond, to the sea and scenery that lies behind.
Caen Macleod Warder, this is a good friend of mine Miss Eva  Zelorious.
Eva Zelorius turns back, at the mention of her name.
Bravaden Warder nodded "Good to meet you ma'am.  Your story was excellent"
Eva Zelorius "Thank you.  It's nice to meet you as well.  I'm glad you enjoyed the parable."

Caen Macleod oh, Eva?
Eva Zelorius looks to Caen, eyebrow arched inquisitively.
Caen Macleod do you mind if we go for a walk? I need to discuss some things about Crystalline with you.
Eva Zelorius "Matters concerning the company can wait until tomorrow.  My place this eve is here."
Caen Macleod fair enough.
Eva Zelorius "Besides... Alex calls the shots.  It may be better if you spoke with him directly, anyroad."
Caen Macleod I've nay seen him as of late... but your right.
Caen Macleod how have the Adders been treating you?
Eva Zelorius "Mmmh... it was easier when I was younger, with the Twin Adder.."
Caen Macleod if they give you any troubles let me know.
Caen Macleod I know you wish to do this on your own merits.
Eva Zelorius opens her mouth as if to protest, then simply nods, "If that should come to pass, you'll be the first with whom I speak."
Caen Macleod you'll do fine. *he smiled to her assuredly*.
Caen Macleod I've been... training again..trying to lose myself in meditation and drills.
Eva Zelorius gives a nod to Caen before turning around, the stone immediately behind her.  And the view beyond.
Caen Macleod I suppose I should take my leave..  take care Eva.

Caen Macleod patted his old friend on the back.
Caen Macleod Warder...
Bravaden Warder looked behind him "Hm?"
Caen Macleod I've got to go, the Adders are expecting me back.
Caen Macleod don't be a stranger .. alright?
Bravaden Warder nodded "Be well friend.  We both work different schedules it seems, but when I see you I'll try to not be such a hermit." He laughed
Caen Macleod Likewise *he nodded and smiled*.
Bravaden Warder "You always seem a bit put off when she is brought up.  You need to-" He paused as Leanne interjected
Leanne Delphium "Sorry for interrupting your chat...!"
Bravaden Warder sighed "I seem to always be unable to attend these things.  You're fine by the way.  Did I over hear you right?  You'll be heading out soon?"
Leanne Delphium smiles. "Ello, Edda. Nice performance...!" she nods. "Could be a bard, someday...!" she snickers before regarding Brave. "Ah, yes, soonish enough...!"
Leanne Delphium "Just trying to say hello and bye to everyone...!"
Bravaden Warder "Shame that, I seem to always be otherwise occupied when you're off regaling people with your exploits."
Bravaden Warder laughed "Be well then ma'am."
Edda Eglantine "Thank you Leanne. Truly it means a lot coming from you"
Leanne Delphium smiles warmly, giving Edda a tight, quick hug. "No need to return the hug."
Leanne Delphium "Also, someday, Mr. Brave! Do not worry though, I didn't bring anything today...! Just heard. So you didn't lose anything."
Edda Eglantine smiles lightly. "It is hard to do when you surprise me with them so..."
Bravaden Warder nodded "good to hear ma'am."
Edda Eglantine sulks, very slightly. "Well, alright... I'm afraid I cannot linger long, but I must say I was hoping you would perform at the pilgrimage."
Bravaden Warder took a moment to regard Edda "Are you a part of Coral Sea?  I'm still trying to get acquainted with everyone."
Edda Eglantine "I am, yes. ...I'm Edda."
Leanne Delphium sighs. "I'm afraid I'm not ready to speak about fate. My vision of it tend to be conflicting with what appears to be Nymeia's teachings."
Leanne Delphium "Or the traditional ones."
Leanne Delphium "I still need to learn.."
Bravaden Warder bowed at the hip "Bravaden Warder, most people call me Brave though."
Edda Eglantine "Brave, then. It is good to meet you." She looks back to Leanne sharply, almost intimidated. "I am sure you will learn quickly then, Leanne. I do miss your music."
Leanne Delphium giggles. "Hopefully! If anything, I'm always eager to learn!"
Leanne Delphium nods. "One of the reasons I love traveling."
Bravaden Warder nodded to Edda then turned to Leanne "You performed at Thaliak's event right?  I'd have to say it was one of the better parts of his ceremony"
Leanne Delphium waves her hand with a embarrassed aura. "Ah, it was as good as all the others. Everyone gave their best in that pilgrimage." she giggles. "My personal favorite was Mr. Ojune's performance."
Edda Eglantine "Forgive me, I should be heading out. Pray take care you two."
Bravaden Warder scratched his head "I'm not familiar with that name... what was his performance regarding?"
Edda Eglantine looks at Leanne likes she wants to try and hug her but... figures she'd mess it up anyway.
Bravaden Warder looked to Edda and gave a bow "Good to meet you"
Leanne Delphium "I will be waiting that hug, Edda!"
Leanne Delphium "Are you familiar with Choose your own adventure books?"
Bravaden Warder "I have heard of stories that make you jump back and forth"
Leanne Delphium "Well, basically! Mr. Ojune made a story, and at certain points of it, you choose, or in that case, the crowd, get to choose the protagonist's path!"
Bravaden Warder "Ah!  that does sound interesting.  I was really hoping you weren't referencing the fellow who proposed in the middle of the ceremony.  I'm all for expressing one's love, but there is a time and place.  A "god's" ceremony is NOT one of  them."
Bravaden Warder sighed "Everyone seemed to approve though, so I just excused myself."
Y'rhen Tia "It is a bit..if you think of it I guess...though are right."
Leanne Delphium "Aaaw...I've found it cute! Though..."
Leanne Delphium expressions darkens awfully fast.
Bravaden Warder looked at her oddly as she continued
Leanne Delphium shakes her head, a smile returning to her cheeks. "Do not mind me."
Leanne Delphium "People have the right of their opinions."
Bravaden Warder had a slack jaw expression as he shook his head "Oh no... you don't get to do that.  You were going to say something.  To withhold that information at the drop of a hat is cruel."  He snickered "And we both know you're fond of hats.  Dropping one is out of the question."
Leanne Delphium smiles with a sad expression. "Sorry Mr. Brave. But...tis is a information I feel at least for the moment is best not to be shared."
Bravaden Warder sighed "You're a cruel one Leanne, but I'll defer to your judgment.  Just remember, as talented as you are at spinning a story, cliff hangers need answers."  He rolled his shoulders, trying to not let the withheld information get to him.  "So I am curious about you're lack of performance at this pilgrimage though..."
Bravaden Warder "Is there a reason for that?"
Bravaden Warder stretches next to Leanne Delphium.
Leanne Delphium "As I said...! I couldn't find myself able to spin a story, or weave a song for it...fate is a uncertain subject for me."
Bravaden Warder "I have a hard time believing that.  Not saying you're lying, but perhaps you just haven't recognized the things happening around you as such.  Fate has been pushing and pulling all of us lately, as an adventurer with such keen observation skills, I think you have a unique chance to tell us about such things."
Y'rhen Tia "We are your friends after all. We are a family."
Y'rhen Tia had a small drawing pad out pencil moving across the page as he stairs at the fireflies around them. He spoke that without much looking away from the intact.
Leanne Delphium purses her lips, deciding to stand face to face with Mr. Brave. "Mr. Brave, I shall ask a question for you. What is fate?"
Bravaden Warder smirked as the tables were turned back at him "Touché ma'am, if I had to define it on the spot, I'd say that Fate is the series of paths laid before us, our route changes depending on the choices and actions we make, but none the less there are some 'constants' that can't be avoided."  He rubbed his chin idly "I don't know if that's the best answer for it... but it will suffice for now."
Leanne Delphium nods, her demeanor warm as always yet tinged with mild inquisitiveness. "I can respect this answer Mr. Brave. Not one I particularly like, but one you have the right to believe...you see, I'm mildly against the idea...that there's already several paths laid out in front of, just waiting to be picked up. And I can't exactly marry my thoughts with Nymeia's teachings and not be wholly satisfied." her serious expression breaks into her usual soft smile.
Y'rhen Tia the pencil stops on the paper. "mm control of your own fate huh?"
Leanne Delphium "That's why I couldn't sing, Mr. Brave. If I don't agree, or have a proper personal understanding of the Spinner teachings...it wouldn't be right for me to sing about her."
Bravaden Warder "An enemy of Fate?  That almost sounds romantic Miss Leanne.  I can appreciate your idea of being able to run your own course, but there is a certain safety in knowing that something was 'meant' to be.  Leaving the Maelstrom... getting dismissed from Ishgard... finding my way into Coral Sea.  If there was a reason I went through such hardships, it helps me bare them more easily.  Perhaps it is just me making up excuses for my mistakes though."
Bravaden Warder he gave the miqo'te a melancholic smirk.
Y'rhen Tia the pencil draws along the paper his eyes keeping on the bug as it flits around. He stops and looks down at the picture and nods. Closes the pad and puts it into the bag.
Leanne Delphium out of nowhere produces a carnation, offering it to Brave. "It's not that I am an enemy of fate...I'm simply questioning what is fate." she snickers. "People may think that I'm wise, but I'm still learning about the world I live in." she nods. "But...I have to disagree with such approach, yes. One has to own for their mistakes, as I did for mine already."
Bravaden Warder looked at the Carnation and smiled "Well Miss Leanne, I can't just take such a gift without letting you have something in return... "  He rifled through his bag and smirked "Here... take some of these whet stones.  They might not be as beautiful as your gift, but I dare say your knives will be thankful for the proper care."
Y'rhen Tia laughs.

Leanne Delphium smirks, taking the stones without a single double take. "I take care of my weapons very well, Mr. Brave, may I say!" she says with a playful holier than thou attitude. "But I shall accept your offerings. My weapons might be ple-"
Leanne Delphium starts flailing. "A-AH!"
Leanne Delphium "Ms. Shas!"
Shas Tarry smirks confidently at Leanne Delphium.
Leanne Delphium adjusts her hat!
Shas Tarry laughs softly. "Heya, Leanne. Sorry I cannae stick around, I'll see ye later."
Leanne Delphium sticks her tongue before waving with a giggle.
Bravaden Warder smirked at the woman's reaction to the 'foul play' .  "Quite the popular one Miss Leanne.  Anyroad, you had to go right?  Here I am keeping you from whatever adventures await you."
Leanne Delphium looks to Jana. "Well, I owe someone food, yes." she looks to Brave. "Not quite the adventure, but hey, cheering up a friend is always nice...!"
Jana Ridah tries to smile, not quite succeeding. "You don't... Actually 'owe' me anything, Leanne."
Bravaden Warder "Good on you ma'am.  I'll remember the flower fondly.  As for myself, I could use a meal too.  I'll leave you to your company." He nodded to Y'rhen knowingly as he made his way up the hill.
Y'rhen Tia I am following you.
Leanne Delphium "Those two made quite a friendship..."
Leanne Delphium giggles, happy so. "And I mean it as a expression, Jana, gosh."
Jana Ridah I can't say I was paying them any mind... It's good they got along, though.
Jana Ridah gives Leanne a dismissive shrug. "I meant it, though. You needn't feel obligated to me."
Leanne Delphium "Gah, continue like that and I will drag you to the Bismarck by the tail!"
Leanne Delphium frowns. That sort of frown. Jana would know.
Jana Ridah Y- You needn't drag me either! I will follow you willingly!
Jana Ridah winces slightly.
Leanne Delphium "Good! I can be pushy when necessary!"
Leanne Delphium smirks at Jana, just expecting her to follow. "Just inviting you for a good time, no need to excuse yourself."
Jana Ridah pauses to give Jancis a little bow, not expecting anything as she keeps following Leanne.
Leanne Delphium "Ms. Jancis! Sorry again for not taking part in the performances. It was very nice event though...thanks!"
Jancis Milburga beams at Leanne, "You are very welcome nonetheless. Shall have to have you sing another time!"
Leanne Delphium "I promise to be singing at Byregot's! I already have something in my mind!"
Leanne Delphium giggles happily.
Jancis Milburga lights up at Leanne's announcement, "He must be making something out of pure joy knowing that. You travel safe.. ah, well you always do."
Leanne Delphium "Kay, come on, Jana!"
Leanne Delphium "See you all!"
Jana Ridah doesn't say anything to Jancis as she turns back to Leanne.
Y'rhen Tia "Have a good dinner Leanne."

Jancis Milburga "Lord Bravaden. You stayed for many bells. Was it what you hoped for?"
Jancis Milburga smiles across at Y'rhen, leaning over to do so because Bravaden is Bravabig.
Y'rhen Tia bows his head." I enjoyed this. Thank you for having me."
Jancis Milburga "Always, Lord Y'rhen."
Bravaden Warder smiled as he bowed "Miss Milburga, this was much appreciated.  I'm not as devout as I should be, but this was much needed.  I'm curious about Azeyma... I pray to her often, but mostly because I feel she is the one who would help me in my goals.  Has her pilgrimage already been done?"
Jancis Milburga shakes her head, pursing her lips in thought, "No.. no Her moon does herald the onset of autumn so it is moons away, actually."
Jancis Milburga "Would travel there with you regardless of the time of the Turn, though."
Bravaden Warder "Good to hear... I should try to learn more of her.  To think I pray to her as a patron but know little of her other than she is 'the Warden' is causing me a great deal of shame.  especially after taking part in this event."
Bravaden Warder bowed again "Try to remember we need the insight of the common man along with our prestigious Priestesses" He chuckled
Jancis Milburga "Azeyma would smile Herself surely for just the sake of your inquiry!"
Jancis Milburga repeats "Prestigious priestess" curiously. "Lady Eva has already departed. Forgive me."
Bravaden Warder nodded "Good to know... I feel somewhat of a hack with how little I know."
Y'rhen Tia looks up at the sky. "Its been really rainy today."
Jancis Milburga "but... I am no priestess. I am but a conjurer. I am trained for battle. I do serve the Admiral as well."
Bravaden Warder "Touché ma'am, still I do recognize you as an authority on the matter, far more than me anyroad."
Jancis Milburga "Well Azeyma favors inquiry, questioning and finding the meaning behind action. Deeper thought. I will do what I can to help in it, if you like."
Bravaden Warder seemed to brighten a little upon hearing what Azeyma favored.  "Well now... maybe that fortuneteller over at Dragonhead wasn't leading me on.  This Azeyma might be exactly the kind of guidance I need.  What about you Miss Jancis?  Surely you have a patron?"
Jancis Milburga brightens, "Yes. Yes I am quite guarded by Thaliak the Scholar. Were it not for Him to inspiring and to learn about more than what was in front of me... would surely not be here."
Bravaden Warder "That sounds like a story.  Do I get to hear about this tale?  Or maybe another time"
Y'rhen Tia blinks. "Religion is a strange thing..."
Jancis Milburga looks thoughtful for a minute. "Have my word I shall bring it up another time."
Bravaden Warder "Ok ok... I'll let it slide this time.  Still, I can't help but be curious.  So, how much longer are you going to stay out here?  We aren't keeping you from getting dry?" He motioned about him
Jancis Milburga "How did you do that?!"
Bravaden Warder stopped "Oh come on... if I was going to be given some kind of magical power why would it be 'weather' control..."
Jancis Milburga "Well, ah, forgive me. Yes. Yes I wanted to make sure everyone left with good tidings and safely."
Bravaden Warder motions to the two Hyur women "Wait... do you two know each other?"
Jancis Milburga nods, "Yes, Lady Cliodhna was helping with cookies, and we have met many other times... ah... I still have failed to make haste on that dinner invitation."
Jancis Milburga sounds guilty at the end.
Cliodhna Eoghan Nods. "Yes you have Jancis...." Chuckling lightly. "It's alright, both Erik and Tellah have been pretty busy lately."
Cliodhna Eoghan It's hard for me to get dinner with them some days.
Bravaden Warder sighed with Jancis "I was invited to a ball AND knew about the wedding proposal, but still was unable to attend.  Contract work can be a fickle mistress... even when it pays well."
Cliodhna Eoghan Makes a face at Bravaden. "He knew and he didn't tell me"
Jancis Milburga "Aww, dare say you deserve dinner with Lord Tellah more so."
Jancis Milburga stares at Bravaden, "You were privy to Sir Mynhier's plans?"
Cliodhna Eoghan Nako'li knew too
Bravaden Warder "Being a man of my word is important too ma'am.  Tellah insisted I stay 'mum'. "
Cliodhna Eoghan Grumbles quietly to herself a bit.
Bravaden Warder nodded "Tellah told me, he was pretty pleased with himself to say the least.  The old man spins a good tale AND knows all manner of stories and secr-"
Bravaden Warder realizes Clio is in earshot and immediately SHUTS UP
Cliodhna Eoghan ...
Cliodhna Eoghan Bravaden...It's been far too long since we've had a chat, hasn't it?
Cliodhna Eoghan Raises a brow.
Y'rhen Tia "Run Braven."
Bravaden Warder waves his hands in front of him "Oh no ma'am... I am certain that there is little for me to speak of.  Just more of the same old boring caravan work and culling of beast populations..."
Bravaden Warder inched back slowly
Cliodhna Eoghan Is not buying it. "Are you sure? I know you and Tellah have had quite the long chats now and again..."
Bravaden Warder "I'm positive ma'am.  He is a busy man, but he only tells me things about his glory days.  Nothing more..."
Bravaden Warder sighs... he knows he is a bad liar
Cliodhna Eoghan "Alright.....I'll let it go for now." Still has a determined look on her features.
Bravaden Warder lets out a sigh of relief "Thank you ma'am, I promise if I knew of something that I felt you DID need to b-"  He stopped and just looked back to Jancis "Excuse me.  I should go before I dig this hole further.  Will you be returning to the Still Shore soon?"
Jancis Milburga "I will try to make it there before Predawn. Is another task I must needs complete before the morn."
Bravaden Warder "Ah I see."
Jancis Milburga "You two walking back? Does Lady Cliodhna need escort?"
Cliodhna Eoghan Looks over to Jancis. "Oh no...I'll be alright."
Bravaden Warder gave a bow to Jancis then looked to Clio with open arms "A friendly hug before I-"  He shook his head "Oh no no no.... I'm sure she'll be fine.  She is a strong independent woman who does not need to around to grill me for information."
Cliodhna Eoghan Wiggles her fingers at Bravaden with a smirk. "We'll be in touch soon dear." Replies cheerfully.

Sigurd Rainecourt Shorter than these usually run.
Reginald Ozrik "Still a bit long."
Reginald Ozrik "But, yes, lovely. Short."
Sigurd Rainecourt It was.
Reginald Ozrik 's fingers strayed over the buckles of his vest, toying with them. "Will you be offering prayers?"
Sigurd Rainecourt I'm not sure what the tradition for offerings is.
Reginald Ozrik "I'm sure someone will be able to help you with that." He pressed his lips into a line. "Not too formal in my religious practices, myself."
Sigurd Rainecourt I'm really devout to Thal. I don't know any of the other customs.
Reginald Ozrik "I am not shocked." He offered a faint chuckle, his hand drifting over the vest, gripping the sash now. "Will you be heading back soon, then?"
Sigurd Rainecourt Probably. I haven't been back to the house since yestersun.
Reginald Ozrik "I should head back soon as well. I have been out much of the day."
Sigurd Rainecourt Let's head back then.
Sigurd Rainecourt Do you want to offer prayers first?
Reginald Ozrik "I have some thing to do before I head back. I have some prayers to speak of."
Sigurd Rainecourt Do you want me to wait for you?
Reginald Ozrik "If you like, I would appreciate it."
Sigurd Rainecourt Certainly. I might make a prayer for guidance.
Reginald Ozrik looked back. "Perhaps we can enjoy a cookie while we wait." He turned and moved quickly to Iski.

Reginald Ozrik brushed a few crumbs from his lips, realizing something. He twisted his face into a face of mild disgust--he had not removed the paper from his cookie. To save face he just swallowed it.
Reginald Ozrik kept his eyes on Eva, doing all he could to remain patient.
Reginald Ozrik "We are to speak to you about prayers, is that right?"
O'jirho Tia raises his ears. "Hey," he says, sounding a tad peeved.
Reginald Ozrik looked to the miqo'te who he had just cut in front of and tried to ignore him.
O'jirho Tia has been standing here the whole time.
Eva Zelorius "Prayers, aye... or any number of other matters.  I am a priestess of Nymeia, but I am also a counselor of sorts, and I suppose I wear many hats.  What is on your mind, if I may ask?"
Reginald Ozrik stole another glance at O'jirho, hoping to get away with stealing his spot in line.
O'jirho Tia clears his throat, not seeming to notice said glance. "I was here before him, if that matters at all."
Reginald Ozrik "Yes, I ha--" He looked back to O'Jirho. "Oh, so terribly sorry. I did not notice you there."
Eva Zelorius "My apology.  The roegadyn fellow kept talking and..  how may I help?"
Eva Zelorius flusters a bit, looking genuinely ashamed, her pale complexion pinkening slightly.
O'jirho Tia looks at Reginald incredulously. He seems like he's about to say something before Eva speaks up. He sighs a bit and turns to her, not quite making eye contact. "Just wanted to say thanks for the story. Didn't quite get it at first, but it got me thinking about my life." He keeps his voice rather low as if he doesn't want anyone else hearing this.
Reginald Ozrik pressed a hand to his face and closed his eyes. He waiting, trying so very hard to remain patient.
Eva Zelorius "Things... are not always as they seem.  In this life we must sometimes realize that our thread is but one of many that weaves Her tapestry.  It is difficult to accept, sometimes.  There is a feeling of helplessness or powerlessness.. but... when we accept that all is as it is meant to be and put our faith in Her divine workings, there is great comfort in knowing that we are fulfilling our purpose, and that there is something much bigger out there than ourselves."
O'jirho Tia nods. "Mm. Can't have the good without the bad, I guess. That's--" He pauses and twitches his ear toward the dashing Lalafell and then clears his throat. "That's all I wanted to say, really. I'm not much of a pious person."
Eva Zelorius "Of course..  I am certain you have your place in Her pattern as well, and I pray that the colours of your thread bring joy and happiness to those that intertwine and intersect it.  I'm glad you enjoyed the parable this eve, as well, and I thank you for the compliment."
Eva Zelorius "To you also.  I apologize for overlooking you before."
O'jirho Tia shrugs. "Eh, no problem." He sniffs the air, searching for cookies.
Eva Zelorius bows her head once more before turning back to Reginald.
Reginald Ozrik looked up, his hand lowering from his face. He pressed the most charming smile he could muster over his lips. He offered a bow to each of them.
O'jirho Tia doesn't seem to notice the bow even though his eyes are about in the right direction. He goes to hunt for cookies.
Reginald Ozrik took a step in closer, eying the miqote--even though he deserved that shade.
Eva Zelorius "I'm sorry.  I'm used to giving these parables to a much smaller crowd, and fewer questions and matters of discussion.  Is there aught you wished to discuss?"
Reginald Ozrik waved his hand dismissively at her apology and managed a polite smile. "I was hoping to speak about finding your place within your fate. Understanding where and how one has been woven into the tapestry."
Eva Zelorius "Sometimes finding signs are easy.  Sometimes... it can be a challenge.  I have often wrestled myself with whether I am pulling too much against the way She directs my thread.  It's easy to sense, usually.  But... I've often wondered if mine experiences have been typical.  Dreams and signs and aught..."
Reginald Ozrik touched a finger to the side of his nose as he listened to her speak. "Then how does one understand their place in the tapestry?" He looked back up to her.
Eva Zelorius "I believe that.. when you are fulfilling your destiny... your thread taking up its place in the Grand Design, there is a sort of peace and contentment in your heart.  And when things are.. more in turmoil that chaos can be felt too.  I am still learning to interpret and understand Her though, myself.  We are - all of us - children looking up at the ugly underside of that same embroidery hoop..."
Reginald Ozrik gave her words some thought and dipped his head in understanding. "I see. Thank you. This gives me something to reflect on."
Eva Zelorius "I would be glad to talk further with you, if you ever wished.  I'm sure Miss Jancis could direct you to me if you wanted.  But personal reflection and prayer... I think that may help more, to look inside yourself and ask those tough questions."
Reginald Ozrik "I may seek you out again." He then offered a hand. "Reginald. It is a pleasure to meet you."
Eva Zelorius offers her own hand, "It has been nice to make your acquaintance this eve.  I am Prioress Eva Zelorius.. though I suppose you already know that.  And.. just 'Eva' is fine."
Eva Zelorius smiles softly as they shake hands.
Reginald Ozrik "Thank you and good eve."
Eva Zelorius bows her head politely at him, "Good eve to you as well.  Thank you for coming out."

Reginald Ozrik "You waited," he sounded impressed. "Shall we head back--get out of this dreadful weather?"
Sigurd Rainecourt I swear it rains on any sun that ends in Y.
Reginald Ozrik laughs at Sigurd Rainecourt.
Reginald Ozrik "That is does."
Sigurd Rainecourt At least the cookie was good. You're supposed to eat it, right?
Reginald Ozrik "I believe so. I did."
Sigurd Rainecourt Good, because it's too late to change that. I didn't eat the fortune, though.
Reginald Ozrik chuckled and ran his hand through his hair. "Let's head back."
Sigurd Rainecourt Lets. I think my boots are sinking into the ground.

Seiko Mamushi Hey.
Gwannes Oskwell Hey.
Seiko Mamushi The uniform looks good on you.
Gwannes Oskwell It's pretty comfy, compared to my mail.
Seiko Mamushi Yeah, it looks comfy. Are you still on duty?
Gwannes Oskwell We'll be sticking around a bit longer to make sure everybody gets home safe.
Seiko Mamushi Alright, don't let me distract you! We can talk after the celebration's over.
Gwannes Oskwell Okay.

Reima Awen shifts slightly before working up the nerve to approach the stone.
Reima Awen smiles faintly to Eva, piping up in a low voice.
Eva Zelorius smiles softly at Reima, whispering her reply in an evenly low tone.
Reima Awen regards the stone with a thoughtful expression as she speaks.
Eva Zelorius gives Reima a reassuring nod and hazards placing a hand on her shoulder, looking upon the stone with her.
Reima Awen nods slowly, weighing Eva's words, and though she's surprised at the sudden touch, it's only a moment before she eases.
Reima Awen looks up at Eva, a serene but terribly sorrowful smile on her face.  "Ah, but I shan't keep you with my blathering."  She manages an awkward chuckle.  "There are others who need to speak with you, Lady."
Eva Zelorius smiles gently at Reima and pats her hand once before letting go.
Reima Awen calls back over her shoulder.  "Lady Bryn, Miss Ember?  Be well, won't you?"  She flashes a grin, waves overhead before climbing the hill.
Brynhilde Wulf "And you, Reima!"
Flickering Ember "I hear very many voices I know here. But...very many people. Not know where everyone is."
Reima Awen calls over.  "Silly, I was standing just next to you!  You looked right through me as though we'd never met before!"
Reima Awen covers her mouth with both hands, wincing.  "Twelve, what a fool I am.  Ember, I'm sorry!"
Flickering Ember Why sorry?
Reima Awen swings around on a heel and promptly gives the towering woman a hug about the waist"  I was trying to stay quiet for the procession, and I forgot myself, is all.
Flickering Ember lifts her arms to gently sweep across Reima's back--a semblance of a hug without being able to bend over at that angle.
Reima Awen releases Ember and backs up with a dancing step.  "But I shan't keep you. We will meet again at home, yes?"
Edda Eglantine "I am sure you will have a better fortune now."
Flickering Ember is still confused however. "Is alright, Reima. Hard find people with this many. But a lady let me sit with her."
Flickering Ember Find you later. Maybe we talk about our favorite stories together!
Flickering Ember I liked...hearing them.
Reima Awen "Yes, please!  I'd like that!"
Reima Awen "Travel well, both of you."
Brynhilde Wulf takes one last lingering look at Nymeia's stone before turning away.
Flickering Ember moves to Astridr and crawls up onto it, holding onto Brynhilde. "Goodbye, Reima."

Mikha Sunthistle rises, then offers Kohta a hand up. "Me too!" he replies to their quiet conversation, then glances around at the crowd, looking for other familiar faces. "I'm happy we ran into each other."
P'kohta Tia takes his hand, but pops up onto his feet mostly under his own power. "We should meet again soon! Heh, I'll end up missing you if we go so long without meeting again!"
Mikha Sunthistle nods, still smiling. "Maybe we could get a meal sometime? Lunch or dinner or something?"
P'kohta Tia "Oh! Yeah! We were gunna try some turtle meat!"
Mikha Sunthistle laughs at that. "Yeah, we'll have to go to Ul'dah and try that. See you then, okay?"
P'kohta Tia gives a couple quick nods, beaming a huge grin and Mikha. "Sounds great! I'll try to talk to someone for you before then too!"
Mikha Sunthistle looks over his shoulder as Tau goes by, giving him a wave.
Mikha Sunthistle 's smile appears once more at Kohta's words. "Thanks, I mean it!  Send me a letter if you need to talk to me, okay? Or you can find me around the Shroud."
P'kohta Tia "Sure, I'll keep you in mind! Oh, and same for you too! Well, except I split my time between Limsa and Ul'Dah these days."
Mikha Sunthistle smiles and nods. "Okay then, see you!" He gives the Miqo'te a wave, then turns to go.
P'kohta Tia waves back, then turns to glance over the crowd, wondering if there's anyone he ought to say hello to before making his own way off.
P'kohta Tia shows Jancis a wide grin and waves as he makes his way up the cliff.

Mikha Sunthistle stops before the two. He gives Tausen a smile, then looks to Jancis. "Thanks for holding this, ma'am. I really enjoyed coming and listening to everything." He watches her to see if she recognizes him, smiling as he does.
Jancis Milburga smiles at Mikha, "Truly? I am so glad Lord Mikha. Is good to see you again, even without ice being flung all over. You got to enjoy instead of work."
Mikha Sunthistle 's face lights up as she remembers him. He flashes a smile at her, then tries to school his expression into something more serious and mature.  "It's good to see you again, too. Sorry I haven't been coming around as much, I do lots of work.  It's good to see you again though! I'll come by and say hi again soon."
Jancis Milburga "That would be welcome, Lord Mikha. Surely you have been out on sojourn and doing hard work. At least if that bow is worth its weight to carry it."
Mikha Sunthistle nods that he has been, and looks proud that she noticed his bow. Then his stomach gives a rumble, loud enough to carry.  He chuckles.  "I'm starving.  Have a good evening, ma'am.  Stay safe!"
Jancis Milburga "Oh yes, you as well. Travel safe and eat heartily!"
Mikha Sunthistle nods that he will. He returns the bow, gives her a wave and a happy smile, then heads off at a trot.

â™ â™ â™

Vaughn Antain "Once again, thank you  for hosting a wonderful prayer, Lady Jancis."
Jancis Milburga beams at Vaughn, bowing, "Is good to see you, Vaughn! Dare this view of you is unique." She laughs in good humor at her spot from the hillside.
Vaughn Antain smiles. "Indeed. I've always enjoyed the view here."
Jancis Milburga "Be safe Vaughn."

♣♣♣

Y'rhen Tia rubs the back of his neck and yawns. "That was new.."
Y'rhen Tia gently pats the cactuar cutting.
Y'rhen Tia raises his hand slightly. "I'll take one.."
Y'rhen Tia holds his hand out to Iskierka.
Y'rhen Tia nods. "Thank you."
Y'rhen Tia snaps the cookie in half putting the other half in his hand. He uses his free hand to remove the small paper and read it.
Y'rhen Tia blinks down at it. "Hmm interesting." puts the cookies into his mouth and rubs the back of his neck.  He bows to Iskierka.

♦♦♦

Lottie Forsaidh "Hrm, I wonder what ceremony would be next in line."
Leanne Delphium rubs her chin. "Hum..need to think of what I will do this evening..have nothing in the plans..."
Lottie Forsaidh "Hrm, well, what do you usually do around the eve?"
Nathan Telluride "I think the Celebration of Byregot is in planning? I could be wrong."
Leanne Delphium "Oh, yes! It's Byregot's moon, the next one righty?!"
Nathan Telluride rubs his chin. "I'm not so attuned to the Builder, but several of our circle already have tributes in preparation now. I shall have to get creative."
Leanne Delphium "I want to create something very special in honor of Mr. Beatin. You know him, righty?"
Nathan Telluride "I know of Beatin. He does seem to be a fine inspiration. If I only knew who constructed my own lute, I could write epics about that... but I know it not."
Leanne Delphium tilts her head. "Humm. Well, I'm sure you will think of something, Mr. Nathan! Perhaps something in honor of Ms. Lottie? If that works somehow."
Leanne Delphium nods. "So I will...! For both questions!" with a grin, she provides a polite curtsy, and sneaks out...!

•••

Leanne Delphium purses her lips. "May you...eat the cookie first."
Jana Ridah gets into the line that has cookies in it, not really knowing about anything else involved.
Jana Ridah Um.
Jana Ridah ...Are we supposed to do something to get a cookie...?
Jana Ridah blankly looks at the cookie while she considers the "fortune" before popping it into her mouth whole.
Jana Ridah 's mouth is full, so she just gives Leanne a tiny wave.
Leanne Delphium blinks. "Hi! I was...going to check on you!" she tilts her hand, hand brought to her hips. "You seemed a tad dislocated."
Jana Ridah glances around nervously. "...It's true, I am... Quite out of place here."
Leanne Delphium smiles gently. "So you seem like! Want help? Or dunno, just chat?" she raises a brow.
Jana Ridah keeps glancing around. "...I don't think I'd have much good to say at a religious gathering. Honestly... I'm wondering why I came."
Leanne Delphium "Perhaps you're trying to be social?" she then smirks. "Or Nymeia dictated that you should appear to her pilgrimage...!"
Jana Ridah turns from glum to sour. "If that's true, then 'fate' has dealt me an even worse hand than I'd thought."
Leanne Delphium "No need to be like that...! I'm here, right? We can chat, have fun...!"
Jana Ridah sighs, idly brushing some hair out of her face as she regards Leanne. "True... Things like this let the bad thoughts in. I merely need to crowd them out..."
Leanne Delphium "I was going to ask if you got your fortune cookie, but your mouth was stuffed with it, so..."
Leanne Delphium chuckles, regarding Rhen and tipping her hat.
Jana Ridah Ah- It um, says... Something about prosperity coming to me. I don't really know what I was expecting...
Y'rhen Tia Nods in return to the hat tip.
Leanne Delphium "We hardly do. Mine said that I will always make people happy. If anything, well...I don't like to see you down, and apparently I have the ability to cheer people up!"
Leanne Delphium "So hey, if  you want to do anything, tell me! I can involve Rhen in it. He will not complain."
Leanne Delphium points to Rhen. "Say hi Rhen."
Y'rhen Tia "Wait what? Huh sure yes..I'll do it?"
Leanne Delphium "I'd like to tend towards sack of gil or something abstract and yet enjoyable. Head of enemies aren't my thing..."
Jana Ridah Well, that's easy enough to interpret. Assuming these fortunes are real, I don't know if I'm going to find a sack of gil on the ground or the heads of enemies... Wealth is an abstract thing.
Leanne Delphium winces a bit.
Jana Ridah gives a little shrug. "Different tastes."
Leanne Delphium "Questionable. Not gonna complain though, people find enjoyable whatever they want to...!"
Leanne Delphium looks away. But her usual hint of disapproval was there. She was just trying to hide it.
Y'rhen Tia "Like punching things..or drawing.."
Jana Ridah is easily able to pick up on something like disapproval, but she doesn't show it. "...In any case, how long have you been around here?"
Leanne Delphium "For a while! I love come and participate in Ms. Jancis pilgrimages! I couldn't perform though, because I...dunno what to speak about fate. Also, you draw?"
Leanne Delphium regards Rhen.
Y'rhen Tia nods." I do. Should go check out Melis room. One of the pictures she has is one I drew of her. I normally draw people put I have been working on other creatures. Mostly bugs right now."
Leanne Delphium "Why bugs?"
Y'rhen Tia blinks and shrugs."Well, I've drawn a lot of people..sometimes I draw them when I am just sitting around. I don't normally tell people when I am drawing and that feels a little weird. So I moved to bugs..plus they are interesting."
Leanne Delphium 's player suddenly understand the bug boy title.
Leanne Delphium "Aah, so ya...sort of a bug boy? Kinda?"
Jana Ridah glances between the two other, not wanting to interrupt with her own (largely negative) thoughts on bugs.
Leanne Delphium "Like collecting bugs? Or studying them?"
Y'rhen Tia rubs the back of his neck." A little yes. I don't collect them or anything like that. Just draw them and keep them out of the Company house."
Y'rhen Tia blinks. "Studying would be the best word.."
Leanne Delphium nods. "Nice! And seems like a fun hobby!" she nods approvingly. "I do draw, but I'm not a professional. And I tend to try drawing mostly scenery-" she looks to Jana. As if knowing what she's thinking, Leanne waves her hand in front of her.
Leanne Delphium "Oi, Jana..!"
Jana Ridah ...Mmm?
Y'rhen Tia nods.
Leanne Delphium "Aah, never mind...anyhow...as much as I'd like to stay further, I oughta go back...as to not make your journey here unproductive...dunno, later, want to go eat something?"
Leanne Delphium looks to Jana with a shrug.
Jana Ridah Eat... Oh, um. If you don't mind waiting a little, I wanted to check in with a couple others first. I don't think it would take very long...
Leanne Delphium chuckles. "It is not right now! At a later time. As I said, just for the sake of making your pilgrimage more fulfilling...!"
Y'rhen Tia rubs the back of his neck before bowing to Leanne."Er see you around later Leanne."
Leanne Delphium "Ah! Going already too, Rhen?"
Jana Ridah tilts her head to the side a little in confusion, but quietly gives an "okay" before looking past Leanne.
Y'rhen Tia blinks and shakes his head."Er I think I misunderstood. I thought you were leaving.." smiles. "Heh"
Leanne Delphium "Ah, no! Good lord, I said that it would be at a later time!"
Leanne Delphium frowns lightly. "Good gosh, is people ignoring my words?"
Y'rhen Tia waves his hands. "No no. I just rain..lots of things going through my head, spacing out a lot.."
Leanne Delphium sighs. "Anyway...I will be going, yes. Just saying bye to everyone."
Y'rhen Tia nods. "Ah alright...um.."
Leanne Delphium "Stop acting lost and just saying see you later."
Y'rhen Tia "Eh sorry about that. I'll see you later."

Leanne Delphium "Ms. Clio! When is the drinking contest?"
Cliodhna Eoghan In a few days actually…
Leanne Delphium "Count me there! I will be taking the crown! Hopefully."
Cliodhna Eoghan I'll keep an eye out for you then!
Leanne Delphium gives her a thumbs up before tipping her hat to Brave.

Edda Eglantine "And how are you, Chachanji?"
Chachanji Gegenji A-ah, doin' pretty good.
Edda Eglantine "That is good to hear."
Chachanji Gegenji Heard that this was yer first time presentin' in front'a folkses fer a pilly grammage.
Edda Eglantine "Y-yes, it was..."
Chachanji Gegenji Well, ya did super good! I didn't even know until Mel-chan told me!
Edda Eglantine "Oh, thank you! Truly, you give me confidence saying as such... I was very nervous."
Chachanji Gegenji But man... I dunno what I would do if'n I knew th' future, y'know?
Edda Eglantine thinks. "Yes, I feel like it would be rather scary myself. It would be good to know some things, but what about foreseeing death?"
Virara Wakuwa "I don't think about such things."
Virara Wakuwa "I don't know the future, and I hate thinking about 'what if's.'"
Virara Wakuwa states coolly, almost a bit aggressively.
Chachanji Gegenji R-right... I dun think I'd wanna know 'bout that...
Edda Eglantine "Indeed... What about you, Meli?"
Memeli Meli If I knew the future, my road to conquering Eorzea with my supremely powerful power would become that much easier! Nyehehe... Hahaha. NYAHAHAHAHA!
Edda Eglantine "Er... Quite right."
Virara Wakuwa "... Just as expected of the Great Hero Memeli..."
Chachanji Gegenji I'd... jus' wanna know if'n I'd see me brother again.
Memeli Meli HRM!
Edda Eglantine "Your brother?"
Chachanji Gegenji I mean... Ms. Hat 'pparently saw 'im recently.
Chachanji Gegenji S-so, I'm hopin' I will get ta see 'im meself, soon.
Memeli Meli Well, I can tell ya that Chachan! The answer is a big yes!
Virara Wakuwa "... She met him?"
Virara Wakuwa "Where?"
Chachanji Gegenji A-ah, she didn't say.
Chachanji Gegenji Somewhere in th' Shroud.
Chachanji Gegenji She's gots folks lookin' fer 'im...
Edda Eglantine "But he is alive and well, yes?"
Chachanji Gegenji Yeah, so I'm takin' comfort in that fer now...
Chachanji Gegenji But...
Edda Eglantine "Surely you will meet again if you are both well... Do not despair."
Chachanji Gegenji R-right. I'm jus'... worried 'bout some'a th' things Ms. Hat said, is all...
Chachanji Gegenji But... I can always ask 'im when we finally see each other again.
Edda Eglantine "That is a good way of looking at it. I shall pray for you both, then."
Virara Wakuwa "... What did she say?"
Chachanji Gegenji A-ah... jus'... what happened when they met.
Virara Wakuwa continues to prod. She's forgotten of Chachanji's personal space, so enthralled she is.
Virara Wakuwa "... Like what?"
Chachanji Gegenji A-ah... w-well... um... like... he's 'pparently in hidin'...
Chachanji Gegenji 'n... um...
Chachanji Gegenji He... uh... he thinks I'm dead.
Virara Wakuwa blinks curiously. "...Thinks you're dead?"
Virara Wakuwa "... What makes him think so?"
Chachanji Gegenji Dunno... but I'm hopin' ta show 'im otherwise soon enough.
Chachanji Gegenji ... Once we find 'im again.
Virara Wakuwa "... I want to help you."
Virara Wakuwa is startlingly passionate about it.
Chachanji Gegenji A-ah, w-well... jus' keepin' an eye out fer 'im is good fer now...
Chachanji Gegenji He was last seen in th' Shroud, though...
Virara Wakuwa "... I will do so."
Chachanji Gegenji So I dunno if'n he'd be 'round here...
Virara Wakuwa "... The Shroud. We visited there, but, the 'distraction' was quite much."
Memeli Meli .....
Chachanji Gegenji Yeah...
Virara Wakuwa "I don't know if we could find him in such an expanse."
Chachanji Gegenji A-anyroad! This is a time'a celebration, yeah?
Virara Wakuwa "I wonder if Leanne knew where he wanted to go next."
Virara Wakuwa blinks. "... Oh? I see."
Chachanji Gegenji Let's jus' be happy that he's still 'round... 'n hope that Fate'll bring 'im ta us sooner rather'n later.
Virara Wakuwa senses that for some reason Chachanji doesn't want to talk about finding him, though that clearly confuses her.
Memeli Meli moves to shake Chachan exactly twice.
Chachanji Gegenji Ah-ah! W-what?
Memeli Meli shrugs.  "...I think this is for good luck." She walks over to do the same for Virara.
Chachanji Gegenji O-oh. Akay then.
Virara Wakuwa "oOoOoh."
Virara Wakuwa 's voice wavers as she shakes about.
Memeli Meli Lucky lucky~

Memeli Meli Wait... Do I smell cookies?!
Memeli Meli looks at Isk, holding her hand out expectantly...
Memeli Meli I WANT ONE!!
Memeli Meli breaks it apart, taking the paper out unlike some certain savage hyur, then plops the baked bits into her mouth. "Mmmm~"
Chachanji Gegenji So, um... did ya find where th' cookies were, Mel-chan?
Chachanji Gegenji I thought I heard ya talkin' 'bout them earlier, when ya ran off.
Edda Eglantine "Oh! I should get a fortune then..."
Memeli Meli Huh? What'd ya say Chachan?
Chachanji Gegenji I was jus' askin' if'n ya found th' cookies ya were lookin' fer.
Virara Wakuwa disagrees.
Virara Wakuwa "I don't need a fortune."
Memeli Meli ...Anyways, I'm gonna grab another cookie!
Virara Wakuwa "But a cookie would be nice."
Edda Eglantine "Memeli. Wait your turn."
Edda Eglantine "Yes."
Edda Eglantine "...Yes."
Edda Eglantine clears her throat. "Um... Yes, my apologies."
Edda Eglantine lets out a shaky breath. "M-my! That is good, I was expecting far worse. Thank you kindly."
Virara Wakuwa watches Cliodhna Eoghan in silence.
Virara Wakuwa stares wordlessly at the cookie, apparently already not taking the fortune to heart...
Virara Wakuwa eats it hastily.
Chachanji Gegenji Yes please!
Chachanji Gegenji ... stares at his "fortune."
Chachanji Gegenji ... I dun gettit...
Memeli Meli ME ME ME! Give me mine!
Chachanji Gegenji Was yer fortune weird too, Virara?
Chachanji Gegenji nibbles lightly on his cookie.
Virara Wakuwa "... It told me I should use my voice more."
Memeli Meli WHOOO! Yea! All the best parties need this Legendary Hero, after all! Nyahaha! Thank you~
Virara Wakuwa "... But I already know to yell when striking."
Chachanji Gegenji Mine said someone was trapped at a cookie factory.
Virara Wakuwa scratches her head.
Virara Wakuwa "... A joke?"
Memeli Meli munches cheerfully. "I'm goin' to a party."
Virara Wakuwa "... A party?"
Memeli Meli I'ma be invited soon! Nyooo! I wonder from who...
Chachanji Gegenji shows his fortune paper to Virara. It indeed states that the writer is trapped at a cookie factory. Or some such.
Virara Wakuwa stares at the fortune, clearly perplexed.
Virara Wakuwa "... They make these in factories?"
Memeli Meli Oh no... WE GOTTA SAVE HER!
Memeli Meli dashes off without thinking.
Chachanji Gegenji M-Mel-chan...!
Chachanji Gegenji ... we dun even know where th' factory is...

Memeli Meli Oop! Janny!
Jancis Milburga smiles at Memeli, "Have a good time?"
Memeli Meli Once again, it was lovely! Nyahaha!
Jancis Milburga "Ah... how many cookies have you had?"
Virara Wakuwa "I don't have much use for this Spinner. But I see that she is comforting to others."
Memeli Meli Ahh... Two? ..CAN I GET MORE?!
Jancis Milburga "Well, ah, mayhaps a couple more..."
Chachanji Gegenji I jus' had th' one with th' goofy fortune.
Memeli Meli Nyooo! They were yummy! Oh, right...
Memeli Meli moves to shake Janny exactly twice.
Jancis Milburga looks at Virara, "You do not feel that She is by your side? Or, ah, weaving your thread with others lik-" she's interrupted, shaking about. "Ah!"
Memeli Meli Its good luck.
Jancis Milburga looks surprised, her expression molding into a smile. "Good luck." she repeats.
Memeli Meli Shake twice otherwise yer playin' with it!
Chachanji Gegenji ... what?
Caen Macleod smirked.
Memeli Meli That was my fortune...
Jancis Milburga nods boldly, "Twice! Not once! What a curious fortune..."
Chachanji Gegenji ... I thought yer fortune was 'bout goin' ta a party.
Memeli Meli Ah, I suppose it was more than twice...
Virara Wakuwa "I don't know. Is it an Eorzean culture, this shaking thing?"
Chachanji Gegenji 'snew ta me.
Virara Wakuwa VIGOROUSLY shakes Memeli twice.
Jancis Milburga "Yes, new to me as well. But seems solid."
Memeli Meli NyHAhahaHAha...Whoa! GAH! HELP EARTHQUA.. Oh.
Virara Wakuwa grows quiet, however.
Jancis Milburga "What about you, Sir Gegenji? Did you have any well wishes or good fortune to share?"
Chachanji Gegenji I gotta weird fortune.
Virara Wakuwa "... If the Weaver supposedly controls our fate, then why did she..."
Virara Wakuwa mutters under her breath. "No, it's nothing. Never mind."
Memeli Meli looks at Vira curiously...
Jancis Milburga raises a curious brow at Chachanji, "Weird?"
Chachanji Gegenji still has the slip of paper, so he shows it to Jancis! It reads "Help! I'm being held prisoner in a cookie bakery!"
Jancis Milburga "...."
Jancis Milburga is lost for words for a minute, before she breaks out in laughter. "Thaliak's Mercy!"
Chachanji Gegenji Virara thinks it might jus' be a joke...
Chachanji Gegenji pouts.
Jancis Milburga "I agree with Lady Virara. It is to make you smile. Your fortune is glad!"
Chachanji Gegenji I-if'n ya say so...
Chachanji Gegenji grinds a toe into the ground bashfully. Perhaps he was hoping for at least some hinting's towards other matters.
Jancis Milburga purses her lips in thought. "Mayhaps you should make your own fortunes." She points to the two others, "What do you wish for both of them?"
Virara Wakuwa is jolted back into attentiveness at the mention of her name. "What?"
Chachanji Gegenji What I want fer 'em...? Um...
Chachanji Gegenji Well, right now... I want Mel-chan ta get her happy, smilin' face back...
Chachanji Gegenji 'n I want that meanie after Virara ta go away.
Virara Wakuwa blinks. "... You needn't wish for something like that. Even if you did, it wouldn't help me."
Virara Wakuwa states bluntly, though her tone is very flattered.
Memeli Meli Exactly right! We'll kick his keister with or without Nymeia's help!
Chachanji Gegenji W-well, helpful or not... that's what I'd like ta happen, y'know?
Jancis Milburga looks at Chachanji, "That is very practical fortune. Hmm... what would be fitting for you in return."
Virara Wakuwa "... I see. Then it is appreciated..."
Memeli Meli Pah, its rainin' again...
Memeli Meli shivers.
Jancis Milburga "But you are right, shall definitely strike hard on these threats to both of you. Especially with... with that shadow dealt with."
Virara Wakuwa "... Perhaps we should return home."
Jancis Milburga "You three call if anything happens along the way."
Chachanji Gegenji Shadow...?
Memeli Meli We'll be okay! We're the strongest lalas there is, after all!
Jancis Milburga "Quite right. If anything, they will have to call for help."
Memeli Meli Nyehehe! I'll come runnin'! Even if yer stuck in the dreaded cookie factory dungeons!
Chachanji Gegenji I... I think we decided it was a joke fortune, Mel-chan...
Memeli Meli Cookie dungeons are no joke, Chachanji.
Memeli Meli Anyways, let's hit the road. Nyahaha! I want more cookies....
Chachanji Gegenji A-ah, right.
Jancis Milburga waves to the trio.
Virara Wakuwa gives Jancis Milburga an elaborate bow.
Jancis Milburga bows, giving Virara a warm smile as her head lifts back up.
Jancis Milburga "Shall see you at Coralhaus soon."
Virara Wakuwa "... I'll be on my way. I appreciate getting to learn a bit more about one of the Twelve today."

Nathan Telluride sets his hand on Lottie's hand and playfully moves it about.
Lottie Forsaidh nudges Nathan slightly with a bump of her hip, "Shall we take a walk and visit the fireflies?"
Nathan Telluride looks to Lottie. "You just want me to compliment you about how they make your eyes sparkle. And I have no issue with that, my dear."
Lottie Forsaidh snorts, "That still won't pardon that little joke of yours about our pillow fight. But I suppose you can..." A palm lightly but playfully pushes at his broad chest before hiking up the trail.
Jancis Milburga "Lady Lottie. You look like the Spinner Herself! Thank you for coming."
Lottie Forsaidh 's smile was small but sincere, "You flatter me, Lady Jancis! If it supports you, then I strive to appear my best for each celebration."
Lottie Forsaidh "If there's anything you need, please, notify me."
Nathan Telluride "Lady Milburga, you have presented a wondrous display for us all tonight, not even diminished by my absence from it. You are to be congratulated."
Jancis Milburga "I think it is in good faith to. Master Telluride would know much about attire, no?"
Lottie Forsaidh elbows at Nathan lightly.
Jancis Milburga bows her head humbly, "Thank you very much Master Telluride."
Nathan Telluride grins at Lottie. "That elbow of yours... it can't keep itself away from my side, can it?"
Lottie Forsaidh "Afraid not."
Lottie Forsaidh "But don't let me interrupt your conversation - I just wished to send you wishes of a good evening."
Nathan Telluride "Then at least grant me the arm that goes with it, and we will see to the rest of the evening.. and prepare for the next show."
Jancis Milburga "You are a wonderful interruption, ah, I mean. You are not ever unwelcome. You both will travel safely, yes?"
Lottie Forsaidh 's smile widens briefly, "With hope, we shall." She finds the three lalafell and inclines her head politely. "Pleasant dreams, all of you."
Nathan Telluride "May fate give you all the warmest of smiles and the best of outcomes, all."

W'reina Yue stands and stretches, again looking about shyly.
W'reina Yue nods, "y-yes please."
W'reina Yue smiles at the fortune, and the pair of people, before returning to the cliff to observe the sea. Even through the rain it was beautiful, and she found herself humming again.
Jancis Milburga "Thank you for coming, Lady. Very happy to see a new face."
W'reina Yue "Thank you, it was a lovely meeting."
Jancis Milburga smiles at W'reina. "Did you have a chance to speak with the priestess? Or get a cookie?"
W'reina Yue smiles at Jancis, "I did get a cookie but... I was too shy to speak with the priestess," she says with a blush.
Jancis Milburga "Hm, your face is familiar. You were north of here earlier, no? In the upper reaches of the isle? Yes, yes your dress is very familiar."
W'reina Yue "I am sorry, if we have met before I do not recall... I am not very good at recalling faces however..."
Jancis Milburga "Yes, the tour. I was sure to recognize you! I did come upon the trip to see the ruins and the springs."
W'reina Yue "Oh! Yes I was there," she laughs nervously, embarrassed.
Jancis Milburga gives the lady a kind smile, "That is all right, is no fault to being humble. Nymeia will hear your words in your heart and be by your side as you need. For anyone you wish good fortune on."
Jancis Milburga "If anything, those who are, ah, shy sincerely mean what they think and go not boast. It is more selfless."
W'reina Yue smiles warmly, "thank you for your kind words."
Jancis Milburga nods at W'reina. "You are welcome. Are you on your way, then? Travel safely, yes?"
W'reina Yue nods, "you as well. Perhaps we shall meet again soon."
Jancis Milburga "I would like that, Lady. Very much so."
W'reina Yue smiles warmly at her, and bows respectfully, "fare well," she says before turning and walking away.

Jana Ridah quietly approaches the trio on the edge of the cliffside, unsure of how to say "hi" without startling them into the sea...
Jana Ridah gives a tiny sigh of relief. "...Lady Edda, good evening. And Sers Crofte and Shas." She punctuates her attempt to go from dour to "formal" with a curt nod.
Jana Ridah I am... Honestly, I'm not sure. These kinds of things always have a tendency to bring the worst thoughts to the surface... And I suspect I'm not the only one feeling that way.
Jana Ridah glances at Crofte, hoping she didn't speak too out of turn, but keeps her focus on Edda.
Jana Ridah I suppose... But if others are like me, it may not be possible to simply move past some of these feelings without being able to act first. I suspect... Others' cases are different from mine. But the feelings remain, all the same.
Jana Ridah glances to Crofte again.
Jana Ridah gives Edda a nod, managing a tiny smile. "I hope you are well, Lady."
Jana Ridah takes a deep breath before sitting a small distance from Crofte. "...I suspect I may not be first to say so, but if something weighs heavily upon your mind... I don't mind listening."

Eva Zelorius rests her left hand upon the stone.  Eyes closing gently against the salty nighttime breeze, she spends a moment in prayer, or peacefully listening to the surrounding conversations.  Or perhaps both.
Eva Zelorius opens her eyes once more, after several minutes.  She appears almost surprised at something before her features smooth themselves and she makes her way back up towards the main paths.
Jancis Milburga stands up, bowing at Eva, "Once again your presence makes the rain stop."
Eva Zelorius "Thank you Miss Jancis, for putting together this rendezvous.  We need more reasons to gather together like this."
Jancis Milburga "Agreed. It is well deserved. Thank you for all your time, everyone who has passed has looked better for it."
Eva Zelorius "Would you believe me if I told you that I rather enjoy the rain?  I suppose that may put a different sort of spin on the thing, but... it is a lovely time, and I am happy to see so many faces smiling."
O'jirho Tia turns his head toward Eva.
Eva Zelorius gives a rather odd wry smile to Jancis.
Jancis Milburga widens her eyes, bowing her head as she smiles in a bit of a fluster. "Yes, yes it is. Pray travel safely Lady Eva. I hope our paths cross again soon."
Eva Zelorius "I suppose it's Llymlaen next moon?  She is one whom is not quite so close to me, but.. I hope to be able to join the audience at least.  I pray you have a good evening, and blessed dreams.  Thank you for all of your efforts!"
Jancis Milburga "Are very welcome. Hopefully you can partake. Until then."
Eva Zelorius smiles warmly at Jancis, bowing her head politely once more before departing towards Limsa Lominsa.
O'jirho Tia looks a bit confused. He raises his ears and listens but finds nothing out of place.
Jancis Milburga turns and sits back down, "Apologize for the interruption, Lord. Very nice for her to spend time here for everyone."

â™ â™ â™

Edda Eglantine "Hello Leanne."
Leanne Delphium nods, finally looking back to Edda. "Well, that was the objective of it! I will linger on it longer when you learn how to hug."
Leanne Delphium winks impishly before laughing.
Leanne Delphium "I will be waiting for that hug, Edda!"
Jancis Milburga looks up at Edda. "A hug?"
Leanne Delphium yells with a giggle.
Edda Eglantine blushes. "Ah, yes... She was teaching me how to, since I am so horrible at it. I do not mean to interrupt, but I will be leaving now."
Jancis Milburga "All right. Travel safely yes? Call if you have any need, we are all a word away."
Edda Eglantine "I will be sure to. Also..."
Edda Eglantine leans down to whisper to Jancis.
Jancis Milburga looks off at nothing, listening carefully.
Edda Eglantine pulls back up, and smiles softly.
Jancis Milburga looks back up at Edda, her eyes wide and concerned. She nods slowly.
Edda Eglantine "Thank you, Jancis. Take care then."
Jancis Milburga nods, "Welcome. You as well. Shall see you soon."
Jancis Milburga looks at Cici with wide eyes as she walks off.
Shas Tarry grins and tilts up Leanne's hat slightly as she passes by.

â™ â™ â™

Jancis Milburga "Lady Ciel is it a joy to have you. Thank you very much. I am in a very lucky place to bring together joy and talent and then watch it bloom before my eyes. Did you both get a chance to speak with Lady Eva? Or other good fortune? You are both kind to keep me company."
Ciel Sauveterre shakes her head softly, "Fate is something to be discovered, not foreseen.  Kind of ruins the surprise."
Ciel Sauveterre "Oschon keep your path, Lady Jancis.  Let us look forward to the next one."
Jancis Milburga "You ever have good words for it. Travel safely, Lady Ciel."

O'jirho Tia uses his cane to find the edge of the cliff so he doesn't step off and makes his way down.
O'jirho Tia raises his ears and sniffs the air. He pauses. Are those... cookies?
O'jirho Tia stands rather awkwardly near the stone, listening for if Eva is talking to anyone.
O'jirho Tia raises an ear and looks rather... perplexed at W'reina's little outburst.
O'jirho Tia sighs and finally decides to lower his ears, blocking out most sound around him. Not the most guardly thing to do, probably.
O'jirho Tia impatiently shifts on his feet.
O'jirho Tia waits for a few more seconds before clearing his throat.
O'jirho Tia stretches.
O'jirho Tia flicks an ear at the approaching footsteps.
O'jirho Tia yawns.
O'jirho Tia waits for a few seconds before turning towards Jancis. "So why do you need guards for these? They seem pretty tame."
Jancis Milburga "They are, truly. I think the present of guards makes it so. It started out as people wishing to volunteer and having not the skill of voice but in blade."
Jancis Milburga smiles lightly, lifting an awkward shoulder to O'jirho, "Preserve peace by practicing war, I suppose."
O'jirho Tia Hm, that makes sense. Something about a preemptive blow preventing further harm or some such.
O'jirho Tia shrugs.
Jancis Milburga nods, "Verily. So many here are travelers and adventurers alike it is hard to relax. Having others at the ready maybe does that. It does for me. Thank you again for coming. I hear Lady Arrelaine left it to sign up, yes?"
O'jirho Tia Yeah. Figured it'd be good experience.
Jancis Milburga sounds curious, "Has it been?"
O'jirho Tia Depends on what you mean by "it."
Jancis Milburga sounds awkward, answering O'jirho, "Ah, it as in the experience. Are you happy you came?"
O'jirho Tia looks out towards the sea. "Yeah, I am, actually. Didn't get any action, but the stories were nice."
Jancis Milburga "Oh, you are looking for a way to steel yourself, then? Put your skills to use?"
O'jirho Tia Yeah. Guess I shouldn't have expected too much from this event, huh?
Jancis Milburga looks apologetic, "Alas, no. It is one of the few times I am actually at peace and not fighting it seems like." She laughs awkwardly, lifting her robe up to show bandages briefly before shielding them from the rain. "Your eagerness will pay off, Lord. Oh, ah, forgive me. I am Jancis. Jancis Milburga."
O'jirho Tia looks back towards Jancis as she speaks but doesn't look at the bandages she shows him--it's like he doesn't even see them. "O'jirho Tia."
Jancis Milburga "Lord O'jirho, then. Surely Sir Darklyn has other plans for you? Are new to the Harbingers?"
O'jirho Tia Sort of. I've only been on a couple of outings so far.
O'jirho Tia Or at least Martial-related ones.
Jancis Milburga "Martial? You did other work before? Strategy?"
O'jirho Tia Nah, just everything else I've done has been... well, tavern nights, mostly.
Jancis Milburga laughs lightly, repeating 'tavern nights', "That is quite a job. I can see why you would want to be out fighting. It is less hectic."
O'jirho Tia chuckles.
O'jirho Tia Nah, it's fine. You can just call me O'jirho, by the way.
Jancis Milburga "As you like, O'jirho. So what is your role upon tavern night? Have not caused trouble I hope. Every time I hear someone singing on stage awkwardly I feel that Val forced them to as some kind of penance."
O'jirho Tia chuckles at Jancis's words.
Jancis Milburga smiles, "Thank you. Oh O'jirho, Did you get one?" She looks over to the miqo'te across from her, offering it.
O'jirho Tia Yeah, I got one.
Jancis Milburga "Is a long way to travel. I cannot thank you enough for staying as long as you have. Beds are a long way away."
O'jirho Tia shrugs. "Well, maybe I'm hoping something will happen," he says with a smirk.
Jancis Milburga Hm, Thaliak forbid a kraken emerges right now. Are welcome to stay at Coralhaus if you wish. Alas, I must needs walk further back to the Sanctum and finish my task here."
O'jirho Tia says, "Hmm, a kraken, huh? That'd be a challenge." He shakes his head. "I'm probably just gonna stay at the inn in Limsa. Or teleport back." He says that last part in a grumpy mumble.
Jancis Milburga adjusts her staff, looking over. "What do you carry there with you?" She asks curiously.
O'jirho Tia Pretty much what I have on me now. Sorta had to hurry here--didn't expect I'd stay so late."
Jancis Milburga "Well if you wish to stay at the Mizzenmast I would gladly help cover the cost." Her voice hints with concern, "If teleporting is a poor option.."
O'jirho Tia No, I've got the gil... I think. Besides, it isn't that teleporting is a -poor- option. Just hate it.
Jancis Milburga nods in understanding.
Jancis Milburga "Then I will not take up more of your time even though I have enjoyed your company. Mayhaps another time when we meet it will be on terms you wish for? I am quite useful in the field. Was support branch, for my part, moons ago."
O'jirho Tia That so? Explains why you know about the branches, then. Well, if you ever need a bodyguard or something, you know where to find me.
O'jirho Tia stands and stretches.
Jancis Milburga nods.
Jancis Milburga "I do. Thank you."
O'jirho Tia Safe travels. Both of you.
Jancis Milburga gives the a smile as she bows. "You as well."
O'jirho Tia nods with an "Mm" and starts to walk off. Once he's up the hill, he whistles for his chocobo.
