Hey everyone, my name is fish (stylized lower case on purpose) but you may call me Walpurga or Pur. I'm really skittish and quiet, as well as ~mysterious~, but only at first.
--MMORPG background
I play WoW as a blood elf ret paladin, though I'm only level 97 at the moment due to the new expansion boring me. I also played Perfect World for a while until I realized how deeply flawed it was in comparison to more properly put together MMOs.
I've also on-and-off played FFXIV for a while before recently settling on Balmung to start fresh. I also have a character on Diabolos to play with friends.
--RP experience
I've been roleplaying for about 12 years now, initially chat based before rolling over to forums. I started pretty young and haven't "grown out" of it, as people would say. There's no harm in being imaginative, in my opinion.
I think the best way to describe my type of roleplaying would be "novella", though it depends on the situation. In other words, I'm a bit of a rambler. xwx
I currently write on a Harry Potter forum, which I am now a mod for. I've modded for multiple different forums, including post-apocalyptic, so I like to stick my fingers in all the pies.
--Character ideas/info
Walpurga Senft - Seeker of the Sun / marauder - Limsa - A quiet, kind Miqo'te that was raised outside of the clans, growing up as pirate with her mixed bred father and Seeker mother. She doesn't know much about her family history, but splintered off from her parents in order to find her own sense of purpose. Because of her nomadic and violence filled childhood, Pur's moral compass is a bit skewed in contrast to her otherwise pleasant nature. Her crooked smile has a death count, but mostly for the greater good; if someone steps on the toes of her innocent friends, they have to face the consequences through her.
She likes fish, salt on her lips, and sleeping in sunny spots.
Also I have a wiki page being fleshed out. It's a baby at the moment. ;w;
--How did you learn about the coalition?
Honestly, I googled "roleplay server ffxiv" and this was the first thing that came up. I've been prowling the site for about a week, planning things out. The site helped me find Balmung, and also develop my Miqo'te properly. So I'm super thrilled to write with you all!
--What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy?
I'm open to everything. While I'm used to heavy roleplay, I'm perfectly fine with easy, fast paced writing. I like random encounters and walk-ups, but I also like it when things are planned and detail oriented!
--Anything from real life you'€™re comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc)
I'm 20 years old and really like cats. I'm a writer at heart, and I've got a lot of it. I'm super shy and a bit of a ball of anxiety, but I promise I'm easy to talk to!
