We will be performing emergency maintenance on all Worlds at the time below in order to accompany Patch 2.57 hotfixes. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn will be unavailable.

* The World Transfer Service will be suspended 15 minutes before maintenance begins, and will be unavailable until maintenance has ended.

* Reservations for Ceremonies of Eternal Bonding cannot be made from the time maintenance ends until May 22, 2015 2:00 a.m. (PDT).

Doubt it's going to be anything to be excited for, honestly.

It's really just a heads-up for people to know that maintenance is happening.

No matter how many purple text upon logins or the screen.... I still get friends who go "when?" "there's maintenance??"

That's been more of an issue recently because the Eternal Bond purple text is now a permanent fixture for some reason. Before, it used to be that if you saw purple text, you were instantly alerted to maintenance times. Now it's all "ugh EB info not even gonna look".

So true... what used to be a useful flag made useless by over-use.
