So it may actually be the spell. Perhaps she's only slightly impaired. Perhaps everyone is wondering why she is getting by so easily and thinking "Oh well it seems like it's not a big deal."  Also, it seems implied that Y'shtola doesn't expect everyone to notice it so easily.

That conversation gave me a sense of dread, really. Especially Y'shtola saying she has 'no regrets and did what was necessary'. I'm of the belief that she's blind and by seeing through 'aether sight', she's slowly killing herself. Which makes me sad.   That's what I got from it, anyway. Interested to see where they go with it.

Something else I am starting to think that the whole WoL vs WoD is gonna be a fight between Hydaelyn vs Zodiac. Whose hopes and dreams are stronger? Which eikon wins?

I dunno. The whole mention at the end of about the balance going out of whack has me leery. Again, I'm thinking back to FF3 and the "Flood of Light" from the previous millennia that serves as the precursor to the "Flood of Darkness" in the game itself. Perhaps there really is a balance that needs to be maintained, and the WoL might actually need to be stopped at some point... or at least work to return things to the status quo.

Or it could simply be misinformation being given to the WoD as a means to motivate him into fighting the WoL. There's been unreliable informants in the game before. The White Ascian always seemed to be pretty on the level, though, making me give more weight to what he says and does.

It is possible but I doubt it as in both ff3  the Warrirors of Darkness are not evil, just the other side of Light. Hell ff4 even had Crystal of Darkness in the underground world. I don't think Light and darkness are going to become the more western view of good and evil most think of it as.

Balance has been important in a few Final Fantasies but it rarely the focus. I know 3 cared about the balance betwen Light and Darkenss and 6 has the balance between the Warring Triad to stop the world from tearing its self apart.

I foolishly forgot to take a screenshot, but in Azys Lla, in the Alpha Quadrant there are Clockwork Engineers and Paladins.

They are part of a quest which is getting you to test a citizenship compliance program, which is unsatisfactory because you beat the devices... The Allagans were some pretty ruthless peoples.

Well... perhaps they are the good guys.

It's pretty clear by the end of 3.0 that your character has basically become a primal, imbued with the hope and trust of so many in the world.

Or rather the 'warrior of light' has. Much like you were ostensibly restoring the balance before, perhaps the Warrior of Darkness must slay the WoL 'primal' to right the world.

If you get the ritual to summon avoidsent into a deceaaed woman to create a succubus wrong, aparently you instead get a cthuloid horror...

What have the moogles done to deserve this much hate other than, y'know, over 9000 quests in Churning Mists?

The level 58 DRK quest. I would have liked, y'know, something related to the rest of the DRK questline, instead of some moogles trying to be evil.
