Hydaelyn Role-Players

Full Version: Hello friends.

I am playing FF14 again after a long hiatus, and never introduced myself the last time I was lurking the forums.

MMORPG background
I've played all sorts of MMOS, starting with an old game called Dark Ages. World of Warcraft, City of Heroes, Wildstar, Ragnarok Online, to name a few.

RP experience

I've roleplayed in pretty much every MMO I've played, and have participate in some short-lived tabletop roleplaying games (a little Dungeons and Dragons, and more of some Pokemon-themed tabletop games).

Character ideas/info

Currently playing an Elezen named Alderique Valeriant on Balmung. Currently doing some character development, but trying to stick to some of his mechanical features and history. Currently adventuring, laboring, cooking, gambling.

How did you learn about the coalition?

I don't remember specifically, but I must have come across it while searching for roleplaying groups when I first started playing. I remembered this place when I recently came back.

What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy?

Light to medium. I like to be in character, but I'm pretty lighthearted and like humor and impulsive dialogue. I generally roleplay myself—I have nothing specific that I want to achieve, other than to immerse myself in a different situation and stimulate my creativity. Open to heavy roleplay, depending on the situation.

Anything from real life you'€™re comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc)

I make most of my living as a graphic designer, but have a background in art and illustration. I'm hoping to contribute to the artisan's board if I start doing some sketches.
Hello there, welcome! Big Grin
Welcome! Big Grin Have fun here and in game!
Thanks! I'm happy to hear any suggestions for joining in on RP and getting my feet wet. In the mean time I'll be keeping my eye out for events and looking for opportunities to join in on what I might come across.
