The search button failed me, so forgive me if there's already a thread discussing this. In fact, if there is, link me to it because I'm very curious.
How would Ishgardians react to an Au Ra in their midst? Even if they aren't "dragon people" they're still sporting the look pretty heavily. I know that the people of Ishgard are typically unfriendly towards ANY newcomer, but I would think an Au Ra would receive worse treatment due to the war, wouldn't you?
There is actually some in-game lore that has actually addressed this from a certain class. I won't say it because it's very, very spoilery. But let's say they aren't... Too kind on au ra from what I heard.

Ooooo... How far along in the game is it? I'm still level 50 and have barely started in Heavensward. I've Fantasia'd a character into an Au Ra, and I guess I'm just wondering RP-wise how to craft a story around her in regards to Ishgard.
((Worst case scenario, you could always explain spoilery things via PM...))
It's not that spoilery, if you don't say the context...

We had fled Garlemald's armies only to come to a land where we were mistaken for another nation's mortal enemy. They bared steel and came to kill us... but we did not die so easily. We spared them and sent them on their way... and how do you think they repaid our kindness? With fire and blood, [playername]! With death for every man, woman and child!"

Oh my God... Â /shocked
Yeah... They may have been introduced in the same expansion, but Ishgard and Au Ra don't really get along.

Some people might not have wanted to see the exact text, especially since it is very important to that story. And considering the mod team has requested people keep spoilers hidden, yeah.

Uh, I was pretty sure to have put that into a spoiler. Oh well. Epic fail on my part.
