Hello everyone! I'm very happy to have come across this forum!

I got FFXIV for PS4 about 3 months ago and have been having a blast playing through the story quests and levelling my two characters, while also managing to spend all my gil on glamours!

I RP'd for many years in WoW, and now that I'm familiar enough with FFXIV I'd like to start RP'ing with my characters here on Eorzea!

I just recently transferred to Balmung and would like to find a partner to do the marriage ceremony OOC. Simply to get the items. I'd prefer to do the top tier ceremony but would be happy with the free option too!

I'm also interested in race or class specific RP, I have a Midlander NIN and a Mi'qote Keeper AST.

I'll have a browse through the FC pages here and hope to meet some of you in-game! (character name is same as here)
Hiiii! Welcome to Balmung and to this site! :D

Can't help with the ceremony thingy (I don't even know what the items are anyway...), but feel free to throw things at me in-game for the sake of RP-getting. :)
-laughs- You're not the only one wanting to do the Eternal Bonding Ceremony, good luck there though! My toon'd have to be convinced in RP to get married
Welcome!

I'm saving that bonding feature for an IC moment so I can't really help there. Though, I am always up for roleplay!

I'm sure you'll find someone for it soon. On your Miqo'te you can just tell them you're a real Keeper! Wink
Thanks for the warm welcome!

Arriving in Balmung was no easy feat, being constantly denied entry to these prosperous shores almost had me give up in despair, but now that I've made it I am not rejoicing, but rather, I live in fear that I'll be deported back to my backwater server If I don't meet the residency requirements soon! The Bonding Ceremony is my only option. If I could only find a kind partner to help out...
-laughs- pretty sure there is no deportation if you don't get married -laughs- you'll have to find someone in character and convince them Tongue
I wouldn't worry too much about a FC and that marriage feature. Plenty of opportunity for that as you enjoy yourself here.

Settling in on Balmung simply takes some time, at least it did for me. And once you've made some friends one of them might be willing to do that eternal bonding with you, be it IC or OOC.

Yes I'm still levelling my battle class to 60, but am a bit OCD about glamours and absolutely need the Bonding Bootlets, I've also seen a lot of crafted gear I really like so the next thing will be to level my crafting classes. So far It's been a bit hard to think about character development, given that I am "the warrior of light" and am reminded of my awesomeness during every quest. Once the MSQ is over I'll hopefully settle down on a concept for my two characters. Thumbsup
If the goal's to get stuff for glamouring, do bear in mind you won't be able to do that until after you finish the main story through the original game's content (pre-Heavensward), and it's also not cheap in gil to have it done for you... you can do it yourself, but you'll need level 50 crafting to do it.
Plenty of time, in other words. :D
