CRESCENT EMINENCE: BEYOND GOOD AND EVIL
Crescent Eminence, also known simply as Eminence, is an underground Ul’dahn group composed mostly of sorcerers, priests and other occultists. Their goal is simple, study and ban voidsent from Eorzea, seal them if they can’t be destroyed, and annihilate any cult they might find. Members are usually excellent fighters, with extensive knowledge about creatures of the void.
According to most rumors, the group was originally founded by Eddard of Salem after the Calamity. The order’s aim was to protect citizens from the Lambs of Dalamud and minor cults that emerged during and after Dalamud’s Fall. It survived partly on donations received in the Arrzaneth Ossuary.
Little does the population know, the Eminence is back, and willing to protect Eorzean citizens once again, quietly, and swiftly. The organization disbanded after the disappearance of its leader, Eddard, and a certain "Dirge", picked up the torch two years later. The purple flames shine bright once more.
"The Order of Nald'thal might dislike us greatly for breaking ties; we are now a free entity, and they have no control over us. I would not be surprised if they encouraged the Flames to pursue us as a cult.
The Eminence does not discriminate the magic users it employs. I know Gridania and the Holy See of Ishgard have different views on sorcery. Especially when it leans toward the Black. Witch-hunts are still common. I detached the new Crescent Eminence from the Order of Nald'thal for this reason - so we could not be traced."

Now that the 3.1 hype has died (a little), the Crescent Eminence should get back into RPing a little more. Per usual, if you have RP projects/plots involving Voidsent/Cults, please, feel free to contact us. We're here to hunt, provide information, and help your plots move forward, or offer you new ones.
