First and foremost, I have seen this community grow tremendously as a whole. We are consisted of many different people IRL with many different backgrounds but I think what's makes this special is that we are given a story to help shape and mold; to create and place chapters in it ourselves and an example of that would be FFXIV.
In my opinion, this is very unique. We all come here to create lives in a world that seems so real to the rest of us. Now, whether we play for amusement or to escape, it still brings people together.
I have seen many negative things here and there but yet, I have seen more positive. That's just life in general, right? The fact that there are people here that help point others in the right direction always speaks for itself. It brings me much joy to see this and I would like to remind us all to keep spreading this influence - this positive energy. This community - the RP of FFXIV - depends on each and every single one of us. It is up to us to continue and even better the cycle or see it come crashing down - just like the everyday things in life.
This forum was created and still managed by the hard work of individuals who are willing to give time and dedication to keep this RPC running. When we look at events, we also look at individuals who take the initiative to create things - make things happen - for the rest of us to enjoy and share.
Last, I know I can speak for everyone when I say a community that comes together is family. Sure, good and bad things take affect but at the end of the day, it's all we have. It's our job to take care of one another and we need more positive so we can squash the petty negatives. Even in doing so, we can change a very bad outlook to an even positive one than how it started.
I believe in life, we don't get enough of this. Thank you. I would like share such energy and see it spread.
