[This note is pasted inconspicuously on a wall in an Ul'dahn alley.]

"If you have had recent trouble with voidsents, please come to this location at midnight.

I am hunting for a particularly elusive creature. Any information one can give is urgently needed. I intend to remove these things from our plane. Any help one can offer will greatly improve the quality of Eorzean life. Even if the information you can give is not about the specific creature I am hunting, I would like to know of them.

I will come to this location at midnight every night."

[There is no name signed, no date. But the parchment is fresh and recent.]

((OOC: Post here if your character has any crazy ideas to actually do this. I'll arrange a time to meet ya in-game!))

Running black gloved fingers over the parchment, the elderly Ala Mhigan would ponder the idea. Slipping his hand back, and with a turn his coat flourishes, moving from the darkened alley and pulling his linkpearl from his neck and speaking into it. "Order, I am taking the night. I have found potential prey." The Witchhunter slips off into the shadow with slow, thundering steps.

*Gwen flares up a cigarette in the alley, the parchment catches the corner of her eye during the match's flame. the short midlander saunters over to the letter taking a drag out of her cigarette and blowing a puff of smoke into the air.*

"What have we here now? Inconspicuous lovely little note left in an alley eh? Oh Voidies, wonder if this a paid job?"

*Gwen takes another drag of the cigarette and pulls out a small blank book and a quill and writes down the location of the purposed meeting.*

"Well guess it won't hurt none to have a looksie, my schedule seems clear enough yeah?"

*the midlander casually walked away from the location and the letter deeper into the alley way. She tosses the half smoked cigarette onto the ground and stepped on it as she whistled a weird tune.*

As if the whistled weird tune had summoned him, the little miqo'te thief known as Whistler dropped down into the alley four steps and to the left of Gwen's strolling form. "Hey, didja see this? Somebody's musclin' in on our turf." Whistler said, waving back at the note with a blue skinned hand covered in black leather. "Bad enough with that old witcher in the way. How're we supposed to make any gil with every Tomomo, Dickson, and Harbold running around after all the weird stuff? I mean, c'moooooooooon. Be afraid of the dark for twelves sake!"

After his little tirade, Whistler stuffed his hands into the pockets of his newly purchased pantaloons and kicked refuse with fresh leather highboots. It felt weird wearing new clothes that didn't stink or itch to seven hells. He fell into step behind Gwen, mirroring her gait. "I'm hungry." He muttered, shaking his purplish bangs from in front of yellow eyes. "Better not steal our work, I'm swivin' serious. I will stab a jobber, I swear ta Rhalgr...."
Thanks for your interest in the plot folks! I didn't expect to get this many replies. Since two of you are together, do you want to rp in a forum thread or skype group or do you want to arrange a time ingame when everyone is free?))

*looks back to Whistler and laughs a bit.*

"Nature of the beast mate, competition is always about. We just gotta do our thing harder an' better try an' go for quality an all that stuff yeah?"

*Shoves her hands into her pockets and continues down the alley way.*

"No come along mate, let's go get a meal at the lodge. An try to put a tool kit together for this."

((I can be found in game most nights after 8pm est on weekdays and all day Sat and Sun. I'll try to catch you in game so we can discuss stuff! I have skype just not a fan of it.))
Cail would read the note saying "why are voidsent being chased?,racest fleshsacks!" then proceed to ramble down the allyways
Countless eyes had read over the suspicious note pinned to the sandstone wall of the alley. For several weeks now, the note had stood the test of time unscathed. The dry, temperament weather of Thanalan ensured precipitation had not spoiled a single letter scrawled on the page.

The note still carried the voidsent hunter's cryptic message.  But it was far less legible now, as a strange font had been scribbled across it in what appeared to be dried blood formed in wide, fat letters:

"What an adorable little message written by a dove with naughty intent.  Cute. Sadly, a dove cannot fly for days.  It eventually falls to the ground.  Try as it might to remain in the sky, a dove always falls.  Always.

"
Anyone seeking will notice that this letter no longer exists.

Someone took it down.
