I guess this confirms that there are next-gen consoles coming from MS and Sony, which SE knows about but can't comment on specifically:

And confirmed, servers will be taken offline right before Alpha to transfer data in time for Beta, which current players will get priority for:

At least we're promised plenty of notice. I think it'll be something like the Goobbue removal in terms of how much time was given, only with even more reminders.
