Hello all! I've been kicking this idea around in my head a while, and I've decided to finally create it and see who is interested.
As many of you likely know, I'm Transgender, and I try to be pretty open about that, because many people have never been exposed to a transgender person. I like to show that we're just people (sometimes nice, sometimes jerks) like everyone else.
However not everyone has that luxury, and many risk losing friends, families, jobs, relationships, or even their lives, if they are open about their situation. Still, there are lots of myths and confusion around Transgender people, and it can be hard to form communities. People who are questioning their gender are often lead to sites that may rank high on google, but are not up to date, accurate, or helpful.Â
So! I am creating this super secretive linkshell for the following groups of people:
1) People who identify as Transgender (m2f or f2m)
2) People who are questioning their gender, are unsure, or have their doubts
This Linkshell is also secondarily for the following group of people, but applicants will be screened more thoroughly (please don't get mad if I say no!)
1) Allies who seek knowledge and support to better help significant other's/friends who are Transgender.
The LS has the following rules:
1) Secrecy - Do not link, screenshot, or post and conversations that happen in the LS
2) Anonymity - Do not discuss who is or isn't in the LS, do not share the list of users with others (you however are welcome to say if /you/ are in it or not).
3) Love - Believe others are speaking in good faith, and in return do your best to be careful with your own words.
If you're interested in joining, please PM me, or post in this thread. If you are concerned about anonymity, please apply by contacting me. Either way, I will respond to you privately.
