Introduction:
Hello people of Balmung! Been around these forums for a while and I've decided to tentatively post something here and throw my characters "to the wolves" so to speak. Basically, I'm interested in meeting more connections and having more interactions that could possibly lead to some nice character development along the way. Before I introduce my characters, there are a few things I'd like to make clear first.

He's a wandering fishercat with a penchant for solitude and cozy fishing spots. He's known to be very guarded and suspicious when presented with a new face, but he will treat customers politely if they're looking to buy his fish. Although still pretty young, Chip has matured far faster than most his age, and the reason is best left unsaid.

He's a jerk. That's about all there is to it. This ex-member of the Rogue's Guild makes his living by sneaking aboard ships and stealing or messing up the cargo. He makes his home in Limsa Lominsa and often spends his days drinking and viewing the sights from the city-state's spires. Although Asher maintains a careless attitude and does whatever the heck he wants, something deeper hides behind that crooked smile of his.

Whew! I think that’s about all I can think of in describing my characters. I'm especially interested in any sort of friends, past contacts, or potential lovers for either of these boys. - I RP outside of the game mostly due to the irritating character limit and other general reasons. If you want to RP with me, I prefer Skype or PMs through this forum.
- No ERP please! I'm not interested in that kind of style.
- I'm looking for RPers that write. I'm talking about a good few paragraphs for a response or so. Sorry, but one sentence RPs are not my thing.
- I usually have time to write in the evenings after work. Sometimes I can also whip up something during the weekend, though it varies on my schedule.
- Yes, both of my characters are single, but please don’t contact me just for a chance to “date†one of my characters. Romance interests are not an instant thing and they take time to develop. Please respect this.

Places to RP:
- La Noscea. Most likely anywhere. He is a traveler at heart, and he loves exploring the island. He also enjoys fishing and selling his catches at the markets. Meeting him in La Noscea would probably be the easiest.
- Thanalan. He travels there only as a last resort, usually when he knows he can strike a good deal with selling his fish. It is very rare for him to be there, and he never wanders past the Silver Bazaar or the markets in Ul'dah. 'Nuff said.
- Black Shroud. Chip goes there very occasionally in search of new fish to catch or his own to sell. Best setting to use as a last resort if your character cannot be found on La Noscea.
Hooks
- Fish Merchant. Are you looking to buy some fish? Perhaps he could be of some assistance.
- Bane of the Mole Tribe. There were no survivors, but many a rumor floats around that the one who massacred the Tribe remains alive. Confront him about it at your own peril.
- Ex-gypsy. During some of his time in Thanalan, Chip lived under the name "Azrael" and was housed by a traveling gypsy caravan. Perhaps you saw one of their performances, or noticed them from afar? Those were of happier times...
- Groot!. Chip has a baby goobbue that follows him everywhere. It also has a bad habit of getting into mischief and getting lost in crowds.
- Fishing. He fishes! Is your character interested in learning how to fish, or want some tips? Perhaps they could bump into each other. He might even agree.

Places to RP:
- Limsa Lominsa This is literally the one spot Asher’s always at. He lives in the Mizzenmast Inn and frequents the Drowning Wench for food and entertainment.
- Ships If he’s working, he’s most likely sneaking aboard a vessel. There’s one particular vessel that roams that sea that he will refuse to plunder no matter what.
- Thanalan and Gridania He’s never been to either of these places and probably never will. He’s a seafaring cat, aye!
Hooks:
- Mizzenmast Inn. He’s secured a room there since the day he walked out of the Rogue’s Guild. Perhaps your character happens to live there too? What if their rooms are side by side and they are suddenly neighbors? Gasp!
- Crimson Serpent. Asher hates every part of that ship, including its captain. Confront him about it at your own risk.
- Smuggler for Hire! He infiltrates ships to usually mess with cargo, but there’s nothing saying he couldn’t sneak something in the cargo too. I’m always up in potential jobs for Asher, so if you think you’ve got a job for him, please let me know!
- Ex-Rogue. He left the Rogue’s guild, but carries with him the knowledge of how they operate and combat skills with knives. Is your character seeking to learn how to fight with knives but doesn’t want to join the Rogue’s Guild? You could try and ask him for lessons. He might take you seriously.
- Halfbreed. He’s got the looks of a Keeper of the Moon, but the attitude of a Hyur. He also has a stub tail and probably can’t even pronounce the word “Miqo’te.†Poke him about it. It just might make his day.
- Costa del Sol. Someone at the harem there looks a lot like him…
- Gambling Debt. Asher's known for playin' cards in the seedier parts of Limsa Lominsa. Sometimes he wins, sometimes he doesn't, but he always gets his coin... and conveniently forgets to ever pay it back.
Final Comments:
