Out of curiosity, how often do you use Fantasia? I have used it a few times before, and while my character has been established to being a Miqo'te, there are some things that make me want to buy some and be a Lalafell again... such as

So what are some things that tempt you into getting this lore-breaking substance?

I don't think I could ever change my characters from what they are. Though I HAVE been tempted by concept art.

No. We might just them /next/ expansion. Mind you, this was one of the few Viera designs they did.

By next expansion do you mean 4.0 or a 5.0?

It's just concept art. The same way we have a bunch of different Au Ra designs, some of which eventually made it into the game.

Yoshi-P was allegedly pissed when someone leaked the Viera concepts, because it's fed hope into players since then. It's not likely. All of the playable races in FFXIV are seemingly separate from the other titles in full, save for Hyur=human and that they mostly resemble FFXI races. Getting Viera seems about as likely as say, getting Ronso from FFX or Qu from FFIX, just, people -really- want Viera added.

Bummer. But oh well, it'd be cool if they were added, but will lose nothing if they aren't.

I still wanna abuse Fantasia tho.

I tried to Lalafell and Miqo'te, but I just couldn't do it. Also tried to giraffe as an alt. It just...I love Roeladies too damn much. Something about them just clicks.

I might chug a Kool-aid to see if an Au Ra connects sometime. We shall see....

I'm holding out for Burmecians myself.

I don't use fantasias unless I'm replacing an unused character with someone I would like to play. I had used my two free fantasias on my gameplay main before I transferred her to Balmung and had to come up with an IC reason for being an Au Ra which was plausible (since I play as her brother too, who is still a Midlander). If I want to look at someone new, I make alts.

Really... fantasias are just too expensive to buy. So I don't feel compelled to use them. lol.

I've already decided that I would main one of these if ever they did come out. Like...Lili at the very least would get chucked out some where and I'd get me a viera. Loved them since Tactics and especially in 12, so hnnnngh.

As for Fantasias, I've done them a few times. Once Lili was a lala for giggles. SHE WAS SO FREAKIN' TINY AND ADORABLE AND UGH.

Other times, it was a miqo'te. Once for a gag event where people were getting slipped fake fantasias that would last for a few days before they'd change back. Another time was an old storybit with Ruran/Locke where he ended up getting a similar potion so Lili changed as well and experimented on herself to find a reversal. Sometimes I miss Liliqo'te, but having Parva helps sate the miqothirst I get sometimes!
