Hydaelyn Role-Players

Hello friends, I've been playing on and off since release on the Phoenix server, but a friend of mine talked me into transferring to Balmung because that's where all the RP is! (At least in his words, which I'm sure is true). Now, I've not really RP'd in this game so to speak, but I've done a lot of e-mail, message board, AOL, aynee, yahoo, and msn, back when they had larger RP communities.

As for my MMO experience, I originally played FFXI which was got me hooked onto the genre. I was on the Siren server originally, with a lot of cool people who I met over the years. I mainly did HNM and end game things, so I never really took the time to RP in the vast world of Vanadiel, though I'm sure it had it's epic moments.

Ragnarok Online, WoW, Old Republic, Secret World, Tera, Archeage, GW, GW2, Dofus, Wakfu, were all places that I RP'd at.

Ultimately I'm a multi-paragraph Role Player but I don't mind goofing around and doing short prompts and what not, it depends on who I am playing with or what's happening around me.

Overall I'm a well-versed writer with extensive ideas and multiple pathways that can be ventured upon should the situation present itself. Granted, this feels more like an application more-so than anything but regardless, I'm looking for people to get to know! Shoot me a message in-game or here, I'm always around to respond.

Hey there and welcome to Balmung!

The best place to start is with the Balmung RP Calendar and finding a few events that angle toward the kind of RP you're interested in.  Then you can start looking at other character profiles once you've found a few characters or personalities you'd like to meet.  While you're window shopping, be sure to check out the Free Company Hall or the Linkshell Hall to find Free Companies and public groups that may suit your character.  If you're ready to put yourself out there and find some new friends, stop by the Making Connections forum and start fishing for some roleplay!

For lore questions, be sure to check out Sounsyy's Lore Compilations; she's done an amazing job with compiling a lot of the game lore into easy-to-find threads!

You're welcome to add me to your friends list; I'm a fairly busy person, both in-game and out, but I'm always happy to schedule/arrange a day to roleplay with folks!  You're also welcome to come out to my Free Company's open roleplay evening Nights on the Toll, which happens every Thursday that I'm not hosting the Gridania Story-Go-Round.
