II. RP Style
- Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy):
I don't mind any of them it usually depends on my mood like if I'm tired or not. But I usually enjoy some heavy roleplay. I'll do some light roleplay if it's sudden and on the spot though. When I roleplay with other people whom I don't know I usually stick to medium but I'm always up to change depending on everyone else mood and wants.
- Views on RP combat and injuries:
If the situation calls for it I don't see why I wouldn't roleplay injuries. In past roleplayigg communities some which were not MMOs we were usually taught P2L (Play to Lose) meaning if your character couldn't beat this guy don't beat him, doesn't mean you can't put up a fight though. I do, however try my best to avoid death or missing limbs because though I feel they can bring some unique roleplay to the table it's not suited for me, but hey if limbs need to be torn and a throat slit for a very good reason I won't say no.
- Views on IC romance:
I don't mind romance as long as it is actually developed over time and not just "Hey let's start dating." or "Love at first sight." sort of stuff, that way it actually helps develop both characters involved. Usually I'd only do it if like I said helps develop my character or would make for an interesting story. And the most important rule of all, IC is IC and OOC is OOC because drama OOC is stressful and annoying.
- Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc):
I mean you should probably ask me first before you create a family member related to my character. Other than that it's all up to whether or not I think it'll work out.
- Views on lore:
I've recently joined FFXIV for at least half a month now and I've got the basic lore down. RPC though I may need help learning or time to learn more about the people and community.
- Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc):
Pretty good I guess? Haven't used them much but they seem to be able to help roleplay a lot from what I've seen and heard.
