Hey you guys!! Are you (yes, you!!) interested in having some ~*~sweet artwork~*~ of your charming FFXIV characters? In fact, are you (yes, you!!) interested in helping a small Mog-loving person gain access to Heavensward? Or Stormblood, when the time is right? Or even have the funds to pull off character transfers, or - heck - this game's monthly subscription fee? Better yet, do you (yes!! You!!) want to help them have a few extra dollars for a better lunch during the week, or for necessities that would be used to survive college and life in general??

If so, then great news!! This person here will happily draw for you (yes!! You!!) in order to do just that!!

- I won't be taking commissions right at this moment, however. I'm very new to taking commissions, and I am not yet accustomed to the idea of making artwork and getting paid for it. In addition, I am currently lacking Photoshop - my bread and butter for creating artwork - and am stuck with Clip Studio Paint at the moment. Said program is still new territory for me, so I'm withholding commissions until I know for certain that I can not only handle them, but deliver a certain level of quality befitting commissions.

So instead, I'll be doing sketching requests in order to get the hang of CSP!

And the best part is, these sketches come for free!

So, here's what you (yes!! y- okay, we get the picture) can expect from me;

(All of these images can be opened in a new tab for their true sizes.)

You can get two headshots of a single character - one neutral expression (as in, the character's general expression when relaxed) and one other expression entirely of your choice - on a nifty 700x500 canvas! Or if you have a Lalafell, you can have one full-bodied rough sketch of them on an approximately 650x800 canvas. The above image is smaller than this size.

You guys can also have a monotone-colored and lined version of the third image for kicks.
I won't be doing these sorts of images for free due to how long it takes me to make them in CSP. :'<

Headshots take about an hour to create, while full-bodied Lalafell sketches take about two hours to make. Depending on how detailed a character is, it may take longer or shorter than these times before I post them online. A paper-like texture can be placed onto the image upon request.

I will be taking three sketch requests at this time!! In the event that I get more requests, they will have to be put on hold before I decide to take them or not.

Character Name: What's your character's name?

Character Reference: Please provide two to three screenshots of your character - preferably a front view, a three-quarter front view, and a three-quarter back view. For headshots, the closer the screenshots could be to the character's face, the better. Any additional references, including drawn ones, would be greatly appreciated!

Character Description: Briefly describe your character's personality here in no more than two sentences. Alternatively, use keywords in order to describe them. (For example, Ado Tado - the Lalafell depicted above - is a friendly and enthusiastic adventurer, so he is often seen smiling or excited. Even his neutral expression has a hint of a smile upon it most of the time.) You may use this space to describe what you would like to see for the character's expression(s).

Additional details: Is there anything about this character that isn't on the screenshot that you'd like me to take note of? Some examples of what this could be include undepicted scars, beauty marks, alterations to the character's hairstyle or eyes, and so on. Feel free to ask for an additional paper texture here, as well as request a pencil color (as I've used brown for the headshots and black for the rough sketch) or any other specifics you have in mind.

Once I've finished drawing your character, I will PM you with an imgur link to your image. If you feel satisfied with what you see, I'll post it here; if you don't, I will make changes and withhold from posting anything publically until you are satisfied with your request. Feel free to use whatever I draw for your character's wiki or elsewhere; all I ask is that you do not claim the artwork to be yours, nor sell it, nor let it be posted anywhere else without crediting me in some way.

Aside from artwork that is produced at a faster, more accurate rate, all sorts of neat stuff in my opinion. Look forward to it, if you like what you see!

I've been experimenting with the pens and brushes in CSP! Overall, I think I need to play around with the pen pressure settings in CSP before I can find anything too likeable with the brushes I have :'< Though I really like the watercolor brushes this program has!

Anyhow, here's a little thing I did in two hours while testing out CSP's pens. I haven't drawn my Moogle OC in a while, so I figured that I'd give them an outfit based off of my favorite FFTA2 class: the spellblade!

Dark SE, when will you give us a magical tank class in XIV? ; __ ;

Character Description: While Sober: Soft spoken, uses a number of verbal ticks, often toys with glasses, playful. While Inebriated: Loud obnoxious shrew.

Additional details: Freckles along her face which are difficult for in-game to show, white keeper-tattoos, large round glasses .

Character Description: Most commonly being sassy and smirking to the point where the ancient scholars theorized that it could be her resting expression! If you'd like to go deeper, there hint of sadness hidden behind it all.

Additional details: She has a faded knife scar between her nose and cheek about two or three inches long. But it's barely visible. So just a feint line would suffice! She's also 39.

As for how you go about making the picture... I like how it looks with the white background, then I can potentially colour it in... if that's okay!

Character Name: Lihli Nherusa

Character Description: Lihli is a very elegant and sharp woman, easy to smile but just as easy to give icy glares; her neutral expression would seem sly and her smile bright and welcoming with a hint of a smirk.

Additional details: As you can see, she has a giant wealth of hair! Her hair is poofy and is chaos incarnate. She also has tattoos along her neck and collarbone, which I've noted in the screenshots in the album. Her tattoos are a light silver and are very thin and spindly with lots of loops and curls and dots.

I wasn't sure if this was still open BUT they're so cute I have to throw someone into the ring--

Character Description: Mai is a happy go lucky girl with an enthusiasm for life and adventure in general. There's rarely ever a time when she ISN'T smiling, even when she's on her own.

Additional details: Her hair is just a little more wild than the in game model will let me show, but overall it's pretty spot on.

Unrelated to the above, but; today ended up being a pretty busy day for me :'0 I had to sit for a few hours listening to an online orientation, so I couldn't concentrate much on RPing or requests really;; but I did end up doing a lot of doodles for the sake of keeping my hand moving, so here're some that I'd like to share from that!

Guess who started his first gathering class? :D

I'm still trying to figure out how Ado Tado's face and hair works; his bangs kill me every single time. He's really fun to draw, though, so I look forward to drawing him even when he's being difficult with me :'D He ended up taking up the anatomy bits I use to draw characters like Frisk from Undertale - which makes me chuckle, since UT was what led me to finding XIV? All roads lead to Rome, I guess!

One of my placeholder alts ended up growing onto me, so I might make a character out of him. His name's X'vlohi Tia - or just Vlohi, since I have no idea how to pronounce the X in his name, l-lol;; He looks like a Keeper and has a Keeper name, but he's a mixbred baby ; o ; He's a grumpy guy who gets shunned by 90% of the places he goes to, so there's a lot of frustration he's got towards - well, life. Can't say he's exactly a good guy, but he's not a bad one either :'D

No rush from me at all, take all the time you need! Ado's little self is adorable! x___x Also on the topic of your alt's name, the wikie says the X makes a short She sounds. Now I'm not sure if it means literally She or if they should have put Sheh or something along those lines but I always flop between those two in my head when I read Lynx tribe names!
