Hydaelyn Role-Players

Wasn't quite sure where to post this, but I literally cannot get on Balmung or Gilgamesh, both have been locked for the past hour and a half and I'm quite tired of waiting. SO, what are decent times to try and sneak myself in for a CST member? Or are there any other servers with large RP groups? Debating if waiting this long for Balmung/Gilgamesh is even worth it.

I hate to break it to you but both are locked for the immediate future as preparation for Stormblood and have been for almost a month. Until they rescind the lock you can't even transfer to either server.

Balmung is completely locked. There is presently no way to get onto it, or Gilgamesh.

Balmung's been closed for new character creation for a couple years at this point. Previously, people could sneak on with paid character transfers or by getting EXTREMELY LUCKY after maintenances or crashes, but as of the NA Data Center relocation mid-May, it was completely locked to new characters of any sort until the population goes down.

Gilgamesh's RP population has dwindled to the point that it unfortunately is either extremely reclusive or no longer particularly active on the server.

There are currently efforts on other servers to build up communities. Out of the ones I've seen, Mateus has been the most vocal here.
