I. Basic InfoÂ

- Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy):
All of the above, really - I enjoy a good mix of heavy, story-building roleplay and light, casual or social RP. Whether it's a big plot or just a small, coincidental meeting, I'm interested.
- Views on RP combat and injuries:
Injuries are something I'm very willing to have my characters suffer as a result of combat. Even the most experienced characters suffer injury sometimes, and while I do impose that upon myself I don't force it onto others. Combat RP in general is something I have a lot of experience with and I enjoy doing it.
- Views on IC romance:
IC romance is absolutely fine, provided it follows a reasonable amount of communication OOCly. I do need to have some sort of heads up if your character is going to try to ask one of mine to be in a relationship, or commit to them etc.
- Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc):
I am very happy to RP established connections, provided they fit my character's timeline and it's something we can discuss beforehand.
- Views on lore:
I am someone who loves the lore in the game, but I don't police others on it. So long as it's not directly contradicting lore, I don't mind what your character is or does. If you have some way to justify it within the rules and boundaries of the FFXIV world, it's good enough for me too. This game's lore is expanding more and more as it goes on, and there's very little you can't work into it anymore. Sure, you can't RP Sephiroth magically falling through a portal into Eorzea, but if you want to RP a voidsent and you have a reasonable amount of thought/research put into it? Go for it.
- Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc):
I usually stick to /say or /emote for RP, though I am open to using /party if RPing in a very public/crowded place to better keep track of the roleplay at hand. IC Linkshells via /linkshell or /tell are great, and something I love to use often. I also like to use mail ICly when relevant.
